Please help me install Adobe Air. Nothing I've tried has worked.

Last week I joined the CC. I have successfuly installed "Edge Animate," "Edge Insspect" and "Photoshop." I tried to install Adobe Muse and have been unable to do so because I can't get "Air" to install. We're talking near a week of doing everything I could find, here on the forums, Adobe's support network, etc. Today I reset the hosts file and did everything that article told me to do. So far nothing has worked. The only thing I haven't done is to do a re-install of Windows 7. I need your help.

I have just leased Adobe Muse CC. When the Creative Cloud app tries to download and install the program it continues to fail installation. The error code is allways the same one.

I recently installed the update for Adobie Air, and now I can not get the Creative Cloud manager to load the home screen or apps screen files or otherwise I just get the blue spinning wheel.
I pay a monthly membership and now I can not download any programs.
Please advise

Cannot install adobe air and I've tried most everything

I'm a bit confused, is the installer completing? What is not restarting? The browser or installer? If the installer is not completing because it says that Internet Explorer is still running, then you might have another application that is causing IE to continue to be loaded. Can you check to see if you have Skype, and if so please exit it.

I'm trying to get Smiley Central on my task bar. Nothing I've tried has worked. Any help for me?

I used to have a Smiley Central icon on the MyWebSearch task bar. While updating my computer with a new router, that task bar disappeared, along with my Smiley Central icon. When I go to Smiley Central to download again, all I get is the page for a customized personal smiley. I still have the correct Smiley Central icon in Outlook, but I want it on my FireFox page. Can anyone help me?

I think I have now removed the Adobe Air that was in my programs list by using Revo Uninstaller Pro but when I try to install the Adobe Air (even with the instructions you suggested it still comes up with the same problem

Cannot install Adobe Air on new MacBook Pro - Help!

I have a brand new MacBook Pro and I am trying to install a program from Real Networks called Rinse (cleans up your iTunes). When installing Rinse, I get a message that says the program requires Adobe Air and that I will need to download and install it. I have downloaded the Adobe Air install program from the Adobe site, however when I go to install it, it either does nothing at all---or it gives me an error message that I need Adobe Air in order to install Adobe Air (makes no sense). Specifically, I get the message below:
This application requires a version of Adobe AIR which cannot be found.
Please download the latest version of the runtime from
http://www.adobe.com/go/getair,
or contact the application author for an updated version.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I would recommend you try downloading Adobe Air from this link : Get Adobe Air.
You will have to manually select the operating system and version before you begin the download.
If you continue to have the same issue, I would recommend that you post it in the Adobe Air Forums.

Unable to install Adobe Air on a Mac Pro OSX 10.5.8, HELP!!!

I'm hoping someone could help me out. I have an older macbook pro (2006) and I'm trying to install Adobe Air, but haven't had any luck. Initially, all looks great and installation seems to be going smoothly until I click "Finish" on the installation window and then another window pops up that reads:
"An error occurred while installing Adobe AIR. Installation may not be allowed by your administrator. Please contact your administrator."
This is so frustrating especially since it already showed me a "installation complete" window just seconds before!
In addition, I recently purchased CS5 Creative Suite 5 Design Premium and I haven't been able to use some of the applications because I need AIR.
I'm VERY new to ALL of this, so I need all the help I could get.

Nothing happens when I try to install adobe air

I'm having problems installing Adobe AIR. The installer launches two processes but nothing happens after that. I'm using a windows 7 pc.

Hello, I am trying to install adobe air but I keep getting this error:
Every time i get this error, it changes the .tmp file to a differnet name and in that location, i keep finding the tmp files but nothing inside, help, im downloading from here: https://get.adobe.com/air im using windows 81 64 bit, plz help me

Whenever I install Adobe Air I always get this error.
"An error occurred while installing Adobe AIR. Installation may not be allowed by your administrator. Please contact your administrator."
I am the administrator and did the run as adminstrator option an dnothing.
Ive deleted every folder of adobe air from
users/appdata/local & roam
programs86/common files/adobe
program data/adobe
and even deleted the keys in regedit.
(i know the file destination arent correct, just abbreviated so you can get the jiffs lol)
i even tries the unistall thing from the cmd prompt but i still get errors.
after doing all that and what ive read on the forums, it still wont install

Hi, can you try Windows Install Cleanup tool mentioned in this thread http://forums.adobe.com/thread/771325?tstart=0?
To install this tool on Win7 64, you need to run this program in compatibility mode for WinXP SP3 (right click the exe file, Properties -> Compatibility)
If that still doesn't work, another possible workaround is to create a new admin account and install AIR runtime with that account.
