Please help me my AppStore says it cannot connect to iTunes

My AppStore doesn't work when i open it it says connote connect to iTunes . It just started happening a day ago. Red icon claiming updates needed on my iPad App Store icon.   Attempted the suggested solutions mentioned and still not working my iPad is 4th generation and IOS7.4 
NOTE( 6 months ago  i downloaded an app that make purchased apps free ) will this affect on my AppStore since they stopped working both  !!!!!!! Yesterday

(A) Try reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
Note: Data will not be affected.
(B) Try reset all settings
Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings
Note: Data will not be affected but settings for Wi-Fi, FaceTime, Message, Home Sharing will be reset

    If you haven't been able to connect to the iTunes Store:
    Make sure your date, time, and time zone are correct in Settings > General > Date & Time.
    Note: Time Zone may list another city in your time zone.
    Make sure that your iOS software is up to date by tapping Settings > General > Software Update (iOS 5 or later) or connecting your iOS device to iTunes and clicking Check for Update on your device's Summary page.
    Check and verify that you're in range of a Wi-Fi router or base station. If you're on a device with cellular service, make sure that cellular data is turned on from Settings > General > Cellular.
    Note: If connected to cellular data, larger items may not download. You may need to connect to Wi-Fi to download apps, videos, and podcasts.
    Make sure that you have an active Internet connection. You can check the user guide for your device for help with connecting to the Internet.
    Make sure that other devices (portable computers, for example) are able to connect to the Wi-Fi network and access the Internet.
    Try resetting (turning off and then on again) your Wi-Fi router.

    Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
    This works for some users. Not sure why.
    Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

    Yes, according to my information that was the model number for what you have. If you aren't sure then open Systemp Profiler and look for the model identifier in the display on the right. Following are the identifiers:
    5,2
    6,1 (this is the Late 2009; it is model number A1342)
    This should provide all you need to pick the correct item.

    Where did you access a clean copy of Java SE 6?  The link at adobe for archicval plug-ins is a dead download (and it doesn't appear to contain Java SE 6.).

    Motion compatibility checker...well, that's an old app!! You're probably looking at the wrong place-at the Motion for PowerPC pages.There used to be a trial for Motion version 1 and/or 2 but both will not work in an Intel processor Mac. The Universal binary version ( 2.1 and later ) has been integrated into Final Cut Studio and there's no trial or checker for Motion since then.

    I havent touched my Iphone 4s in ages (about a month). I came back to it the other day. I forgot the password, so naturally it disabled it and is telling me to connect to iTunes. In the meantime, i had got a new computer and didnt back up the itunes files (because im an idiot). So now when i connect it to iTunes it tells me to verify it on the phone, but i cant get in there because it is disabled. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP!!! I HAVE NO IDEA ON HOW TO FIX IT!! I've tried to restore it, I've tried to jailbreak it. NOTHING works!! PLEASE HELP!!!

    This is on an ipod 4. I have hard booted it, I have checked wi-fi connections, I have download and unloaded new apps, I have checked my apple id and pw, I have synced with the desktop and did updates but that didn't allow them to update on my ipod.  HELP  and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

    FYI   I found the resolution to this thru another thread,,,,,,, so for others that are having this issue, go into your settings and reset the clock to a few months out. this allowed my app store to start the updates.

    2. Settings>General>Date and Time>Set Automatically>On
    3. Make sure Time Zone is correct
    4. Reset iPad. Hold the Sleep and Home button down until you see the Apple Logo.

  • My IPad 2 also will not connect to ITunes for  updates and purchased apps.  It shows Waiting for several minutes then says it cannot connect to ITunes.  All other wifi functions are working fine on it.

    I see this is happening to a lot of folks today.  Has anyone found a solution?

    It is not properly connected to the network.
    Make sure location is set correctly
    DNS should be on auto (settings - general - network)
    Try ethernet
    Signal strength on device won't account for issues, you would need a network report from istumbler, netstumbler or similar. This will show accurate signal strength along with noise and nearby networks

  • HT3702 Anytime I try to make an in app purchase only for master of dragon it says cannot connect to iTunes Store. I have don't it multiple times recently and all of a sudden it has not let me purchase anything.

  • Problems with AppStore updates (Cannot connect to iTunes store)

    My iPads cannot update apps via the AppStore. Selecting update in the AppStore generates a "Cannot connect to iTunes store" error. This appears to be related to my home network since I can update if I connect to other wifi networks. All of my iPads are wifi only.
    Interestingly enough, I can connect to the iTunes app directly... The problem is when I connect via updates. Likewise, none of the other computers (both Mac and PCs) have any problems connecting to the iTunes store.
    I have searched in vain for any firewall considerations that I should accommodate.
    My network uses a Linux box as the router/firewall. It is running iptables (managed by firestarter) and safesquid as a proxy server that is set up to run in transparent proxy mode. I have checked all the logs and can't see where this is causing a failure, so I am at a loss.
    Does anyone know what ports the AppStore would need for updates? Does anyone know if a transparent proxy would be a problem for the updates?
    Any help troubleshooting this would be greatly appreciated.

    Demo, thank you for your help. After posting this question, I finally found another thread on this very topic that was more than just another request for help with the issue, but had no responses. In my case, the answer by synyster156 resolved the problem. Prior to following synster156's instructions, I closed my browser so that no programs were connected to the internet. I don't know if this was necessary, but anyway, it worked for me.
    - In Win 7, go to "Start>All Programs>Accessories>"  right-click on "Command Prompt" and select "Run as administrator".
    - In the Command Line Interface window and at the propmpt "c:\windows\system32>" enter
    netsh winsock reset and then press the enter key.
    - After this command is run, you should get a message stating that windows has successfully reset the winsock catalog.
    - To complete the rest, close out any open programs/windows and "Restart" your computer.
