Please help me, my C3 hangs every minute
i have been using my C3 for quite some time now,but some days ago it started behaving strange,if i use it for a minute,it's going to hang/freezes and later switch off itself. i have restore factory and try to update software,but was told no software available for updates. pls advice me
p.s. dont ask me to goto nokia care,cos there is none in my area
p.s.s. i went through some similar thread here,i read people talking about updating the firmware,how will i go about this? or what shoild i do? thanks in advance.

You need to download and install the Nokia Suite from here on to your PC. Then connect the phone to PC and open Nokia Suite-->Tools-->software updates. If any update is available follow instructions carefully. If there is no update available, check if the 'Re-install' option is available as seen in the attachment ..

Somebody anybody please help! start up hangs
I recently installed internet on my g5(10.3.7)every thing was fine for a couple days.One day I turn on the comp and it said some updates were avalible,Security updates.Like a moron I did it.Every thing was fine till the next day I turned my g5 on.It intitilizes with the blue bar and says something about firewall and connecting to internet(even when no internet connection is present.It lastly says "starting login window" then hanges ther forever!.Its been weeks and nothing Ive tried has worked.Somebody told me somthing about changing some firewall setting or client somthing.But the apple baron top doesnt even come up,or the desktop.So there no way I can change anything...PLEASE HELP!!!!
Mac OS X (10.3.7)It's quite a while since I used 'Panther' but can you not just use your recovery disc to do an Archive and install to reinstall the OS and rebuild permissions?
Insert disc, power down. Restart holding the "C" button down until the Apple logo and spinning (whatever that little spinning thing is called) shows up. It should launch the OS X installer, choose your language.
When you get to the "where would you like to install" go to option button below the Hard drive and click it. A new window opens up with Archive & Install (to save user date and reinstall OS X) or Erase and Install (for a clean install). Select Archive and Install and 'OK'.
Choose Archive and Install, your OS will reinstall. Once complete, see if that corrects the issue you're experiencing. If it doesn't, instead of some people lording it over you by telling you off for not backing up your data (which isn't always possible depending on budget or practical advice in this case) you may have to cut your losses and do an erase and install. At least it will get your system up and running again, but try the Archive and Install option first.
If Archive and Install works get a cheap external hard drive or internal drive and back up your data for future protection. If you have to perform an erase and install a 2nd hard drive wouldn't go amiss for future back up protection.

I really need some help!!
I have started a new FCPx event (saved to my external hard drive) and every single time I upload video clips (.MOV) to Final Cut Pro, everything looks normal and great but within a minute or less, it says that there is a file missing (for each clip that i have imported) and the clip turns red. The clips still play fine and I can continue editing, but I don't understand why it keeps saying the file is missing??? I have tried relinking these clips with their originals found on my external harddrive, but again, after a few seconds, it says "1 file missing".
Am I importing these clips incorrectly? Are they corrupt files?

Please help! Safari keeps hanging/not responding and freezes everything else up.
I've got a mid-2009 MacBook Pro running OS X Snow Leopard (10.6.8) and Safari (5.1.9) keeps hanging/crashing. I'm afraid I'm not very good with these things so I'll just have to tell the story...
It's happening when I start up Safari, either the home page (Google) doesn't fully load and the pinwheel appears, or it loads but as soon as I try to search or use bookmarks the pinwheel appears. I'm unable to quit Safari, open or close Finder or any software, and it won't shut down normally either. I've tried using Cmd-Option-Esc to Force Quit but the pinwheel appears again and nothing happens. The only option left is to do a hard shut down. After repeating this 5 or 6 times it eventually lets me use Safari, but will almost always hang again unexpectedly at some point during the day. I know this isn't the best way to deal with it but I don't know what else to do!
I'm sorry if this question has already been asked and answered, but because I don't have an error report I don't know whether my issue is the same and don't want to start messing with things when I'm not sure what I'm doing. Thanks in advance for your help!
P.S. The unexpected hanging and freezing started while I was running Leopard and an older version of Safari. I tried to back up and reinstall the OS but my optical disk drive wouldn't read the disk, so I had to take it to an Apple store where they couldn't find anything wrong but installed Snow Leopard and hoped that fixed the problem. It didn't, and it's since started happening on start up, as described above.Open Disk Utility located in HD > Applications > Utilities
Select the startup disk on the left then click Verify Disk.
If the disk needs repairing, you will need to use the install disc(s) that came with your Mac.

I have iMac mid-2011, Yosemite 10.10.3, my wifi drops every 3-5 mins, have to run diagnostics to reconnect. Don't know when it started because I used to use cable, but now have to use wifi!!! I even formatted my mac disk and did a clean install of Yosemite! Pz somebody help! Nothing seems to work!

we are about 4 minutes into editing a video for the first time on final cut pro x 10.1. everything was going very smoothly, but then it started freezing up. I had to do a hard reset and took it into the computer store that actually installed final cut for us. they suggested that our mac actually is not capable of keeping up with final cut. (I FIND THIS HARD TO BELIEVE!!) We work on an IMAC 2.66 ghz intel core 2 duo. 8 gb 1067 mhz ddr3. software os x 10.9.1 (hopefully that info will help for your suggestions) Because we have soooooooooooo many hours of high def video, we are working off of two external hard drives.... is this a problem?? or do we really need to upgrade our computer?????Like Russ said, check Activity Monitor and see what else is running and turn off any Applications that aren't needed.
Turn off wi-fi or disconnect the wire that goes to the Internet
Turn off Background Rendering (if you see an orange line on the top of the time line that moves along and gets shorter while you're not doing anything that is a good sign that Background Rendering is running.
I haven't used 10.1 yest but on the previous version there was a small circle approximately in the middle of the screen, about 1/2-inch or 1 cm in diameter, and it would have a number inside. The number is the percent complete of what is hapening. When it is Rendering the percentage will be shown.
Basically, you probably need to free up resources.
For what it is worth, my previous Mac Pro was a 1,1 2.66 machine, also with 8GB of, I think, 667 memory, and it would process FCPX 10.0.9 okay. It did have an upgraded video card, though. -

I found some info on this forum thread for this error (but this error occurs before the installation screens even come up. You didn't mention exactly what screen your error comes up on so I figured I would mention this just in case).

If you're on the screen after the installation summary screen, and it hangs while saying "Link pending, copying JRE" above the progress bar, I am also at this stage.
Although I haven't fixed the problem yet, someone mentioned that you need to install patch 2878462 to fix this problem. I haven't done this yet, but saw the write up here:

I can't figure out how to get the patch since I don't have a support contract. I don't understand how they can provide a free linux download and not give you access to the patchsets (on metalink)!!!! Anyone know how I can get the patchset without having a support contract and logging into metalink?

For the first few days after i installed Firefox everything was working fine.But after 2-3 days the error messeage "Adobe Flash plug-in has crashed" started coming repeatedly.I have checked my plug-ins and they are all up to date.The error messeage comes in every 2-3 minutes,specially while using Facebook applications.

hey guys,
im a devoted user of mozilla but lately whenever i open my facebook (or other sites with lots of adds) it freezes for like a minute, every few minutes.
I didn't have this problem when I used explorer nor when doing it on other computers.
so i bet the problem is with my computer but I can't figure out what.. :(

You can also mitigate a little with an adblocker like [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865/ adblock plus].
From reports of this that I've been hearing about, Flash 10.2 (which was a recent update) has been particularly bad with Zynga games. You can try changing your display settings in Flash (right click and select settings and then the first tab) but I would just suggest using just one game at a time. Adobe may be releasing a version of Flash that's better soon, so this may clear up if you update Flash, also. -
I am using Xcode 5 on Mac Book with configuration Memory 5 GB 1067 MHz DDR3 and Processor 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo. It hangs every time whenever i work on Storyboard and even on clicking on any of the controller it takes time to open. As my storyboard consists of 25 scenes. I searched a lot but did not get any results . I have upgraded my xcode to xcode 5.0.2 which is bug free as compare to xcode 5. Please help I m struggling with this problem a lot.

Just look around the forum posts. Your issue is the number one problem reported by users. There are many suggestions found, some work for some users, others do not.
Some users have reported no battery problems after the upgrade. Others have improved performance after upgrading to 5.0.1 from 5.0. YMMV.
Many of the posts offer suggestions about changing various settings - there are many that affect the battery life.
Once you upgrade the iOS on a device, you cannot go back to a previous version.
