Please help me on the data selection - drill down

Can any one please help me,
I'm struggling with the data selection. I trid to finding the solution all the way but no hopes.
see below are my data sets:
1) from this table i have to plot piechart.

2) this below table is having the data same as "diivsion" above and their coerponding "Product" with its counts.
Here i want plot the bar chart with product and its counts. and also this chart should display only the products for the division selection above.
I mean that, when the users clicks the particular "division" then the coreponding "products" should only be displayed on the bar chart.

I can't try using dynamic visibility with the pie chart and bar chart. because my dashboard is having multiple tabs so i want to use the dynamic visibility there.
any help appreciated.

Looks like you are still facing problem with dynamic visibility, i had sent the xlf file to your email.
I created drill down for
Japan
Commercial
Central
Similarly you can do it for others.

You can't back up to iCloud until you update to iOS 5 or higher. You will have to back up your iPod on your computer using iTunes. Update iTunes on your computer to the latest version, then connect your iPod to your computer, open iTunes, if iTunes give you a pop-up asking if you want to update your iPod, decline. Then click on the name of your iPod in iTunes, go to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases to transfer any purchased media to your iTunes library. Next, go to the Summary tab of your iTunes sync settings and click on Back Up Now to back up your iPod on your computer.
When it's done backing up, click on Check for Update (or Update) on the Summary tab of your iTunes sync settings. Allow your iPod to update, and leave it connected to your computer. At the end, it will restart and give you the option to restore to the iTunes backup you made earlier. Choose this option to restore your backup and sync your apps and other iTuens media to your phone.

Yes I just discovered that this morning but I have purchased another external harddrive and formatted it for both and am in the process of transferring the files across it and then I will erase the old harddrive and reformat it so I can use it.
I have learnt to format harddrives from this experience but am happy to see the back of parallells.

Request to provide me solution for the following issue at the earliest :
On dashboard I'll have 3 dropdowns drp1,drp2,drp3 and 3 list boxes lb1,lb2,lb3. User selects value from drp1 and selected value can be placed in lb1 thru "=>" button. So any no. of values (less or more values) can be placed in lb1 selected from drp1. Similarly values selected from drp2 placed in lb2 and values selected from drp3 in lb3 thru "=>" buttons.
After selecting process button I have to place the list box (lb1,lb2,lb3) values (Text) in Text Labels (tlb1,tlb2,tlb3) on the Report. First part of the report contains Pivot with some calculations. Pivot will increase or decrease horizontally. Vertically its size is fixed. Down the pivot, Text Labels tlb1,tlb2,tlb3 are placed down the other. Spring option has been used for tlb1,tlb2,tlb3.
Now issue I am facing is If user selects more values from drp1,drp2,drp3 then in report tlb1,tlb2,tlb3 are expanding and I am getting the report with 2 pages. After that if user selcts less values from drp1,drp2,drp3 then the data selected getting fitted in single page of report but the 2nd page previously expanded remains exist. But user should not get this 2nd page blank. I tried to apply report grouping . But didn't worked.
Please suggest me solution for this problem. Can I achieve this requirement if I use any other controls instead of text labels in Report ( less values single page more values 2 pages). Thanks.

Our requirement is, in a Production instance, not to allow a DB user (APPS/SYSTEM) to see the confidential data. For example, a user who has the APPS schema password should not be able to see the salary details. However allowing the application like forms/reports/jsp to present the actual data and not the masked data.
I understand from your reply that the data masking feature CANNOT be used for this purpose as it is rebiulding the tables with the masked data. However we understand that the same feature can be used in a TEST/DEV environment so that we can restrict the developer who is working on the TEST/DEV instance, from accessing the confidential data.
Any pointers to acheive our requirement will be highly helpful.

"Error occurred in the data selection" on init delta load ODS- InfoCube

Hi, gurus and experts!
I'm trying to do Init delta load from 0FIAR_O03 ODS into 0FIAR_C03 InfoCube in PRD env. by InfoPackage "Initialize with delta transfer (with data transfer)". Immediately after the load was started I got error
"Error occurred in the data selection"
with details
"Job terminated in source system --> Request set to red".
Where are no any short dumps. There are 1 activated init load in ODS - nearly 6 500 000 records.
Any ideas about error? And the way I can load data?

I faced the similar error when I tried to load data from an ODS which contained huge amount of data to a Cube. Even in your case the volume of data is more (around 6.5 million records). The error could be due to the table space issue, please contact your Basis team to check if enough table space exist for both the data targets.
Meanwhile you may also check the RFC connection of the Myself source system.
You can replicate the DSO datasource once and then reactivate the transfer rules using the program RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL.
Try load with a small amount of data with a Full load option and then with a delta option..

Take the memory card out of the camer and put it in a card reader. When it mounts on the desktop select it and try to change the name. However, that might make it incompatible with the camera. You'll just have to try and see.

How to customize the data selection on a standard 2LIS_08TRTLP

Hi All,
on the datasource '2LIS_08TRTLP Shipment delivery per stage', I would need to filter on '0DEL_TYPE delivery type' but it is not part of the standard 'data selection' for this datasource.
I have some initial loading issue if I cannot filter directly at the datasource on a specific delivery_type.
How can I 'enhance' the data selection for this standard datasource with the addition of this new filtering condition on 'DEL_TYPE'

Go to change mode of datasource using transaction code RSA6. uncheck the hide sel and customer field column.
Check the check box - del type and save it.
it will be available for selection and check it in rsa3

Your syntax is wrong - look at the post above where this syntax is given:
to_char (add_months(r.formdate,12), 'MM/DD/YYYY') "formdate2"Look at the formula from a logical perspective - "inside out" to read what is happening -
take formdate, add 12 months
add_months(r.formdate, 12)then apply the to_char format mask - basic syntax
to_char(date, 'MM/DD/YYYY')Compare to your syntax:
to_char(add_months(r.formdate, 'MM/DD/YYYY'),12) "formdate2"You will see your format string inside the call to add_months, and your 12 inside the call to to_char.

In the Debugger Window
Select Breakpoint -> Break point at -> Breakpoint at source code Menu Item and enter the details of the program/include/line no..
Activate the System Debugger On from the Settings Menu.

If the source system is a Client Workstation, then it is possible that the file that you wanted to load was being edited at the time of the data request. Make sure that the file is in the specified directory, that it is not being processed at the moment, and restart the request.

If i do Repeat Delta, then it is working fine.
As it is a daily load, manually repeating the load from the past 10 days.
Have tried using program RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL.

Thanks for your valuable inputs, Problem is solved.
The Reason is that, there is a time difference in the r/3 system and bi system.
The tolerable time differene shud be only 60 seconds.
Basis guys took down time at the OS level and hav made the timers sync.....
The problem is on the source system GNP time differences
persists, which can cause the problem with delta upload .

Date and Time of R/3-Kernel.......: 01.12.2010 12:43:46
Date and Time of ABAP-Processor...: 01.12.2010 12:46:58

This leads to an exception of the delta processing, because this
tolerates a deviation of 60 seconds only (When the repeat is processed,
the "local time" in the ABAP is higher than the qrfc counter at the time when the delta was processed -> So a repeat works fine).
Please synchronize the timers like described in attached note 101726 and 741734 to eliminate the time difference .

The delta wil take the Last init selection for loading data in to the BW...
Did u check the IP at the Update tab is it the correct delta only.. or its a full..
better to go to the RSA3 and check the extractor in the Delta mode .. if u give ur delta mode it automatically takes the selction options.. so please try in RSA3..

I would like to ask how to add an infoobject in the Data Selection Tab of the InfoPackage in 2004s. It says its optional, this definintion of selection criteria for the infopackage.
My apologies, I don't understand how this is done. Surely, I would like, however, to understand how to add an infoobject in this data selection Tab of the InfoPackage in 2004s.
