If you set up and activate find my iphone on your iphone, then go to icloud.com and sign in to track your phone.
That is the only way to track your phone.

Are you aware that if you restore your ipad that you will lose all data from your ipad and very difficult to get it back unless you had previously made a back-up of your data on itunes or in the cloud. and that would be on the computer you set those up on. (There are some independent apps out there that might help restore data but I don't have any experience with them...)
Also, I think if you restore on another computer you're supposed to have administrator rights and have the latest itunes update. And I think if you sync (if restoring is considered syncing with another computer, you'll be locked out of your computer or a new one.)
I don't know if there is a way for you to safely eject your ipad from your mom's laptop and find another way, but please read this

If all you did was sync your phone, and if you haven't synced again since this happened, you can restore your phone from the backup that was created at the beginning of the sync process (camera roll photos are included in the backup). If you have synced again since this happened this backup has already been overwritten and your photos are lost. Also, if you restored your phone from the backup of your iPod, rather than just synced, then your photos are lost too.
If you have an intact backup that contains these photos, do the following:
Without connecting your phone, open iTunes on your computer and go to Preferences. On the Devices tab check "Prevent...from syncing automatically".
Connect your phone to your computer, right-click on the name of your phone when it appears in iTunes on the left sidebar and select Restore from Backup, choose your most recent backup to restore from.
When complete, you can go back to iTunes>Preferences>Devices and re-enable automatic syncing. -

i have a huge problem
i downloaded a podcast on my iPod shuffle about 2 days ago and it went onto my ipod but now it wont turn on and the green and orange error lights appear and it wont let me play any of my songs.
Ive tried everything that apple says to do (5 r's) but they dont work at all. Now my computer wont recognise that the iPod is in the computer. I deleted iTunes off my computer because i thought there might be a problem with that but now i cant load it back onto my computer. Ive tried to download the newest version of updater and iTunes but niether will work. Ipod updater also doesnt recognise my ipod is in my computer.
PLEASE HELP ME SOMEONE!!!!!I've been getting the blinking green and orange lights of doom as well, except I've had my shuffle for almost a year, there doesn't appear to be anything you can do about this. I doubt it has anything to do with the podcast, there's so many that break at the one year mark that I'm pretty sure that apple makes em that way.

I would "guess", since you were in the middle of backing up, your backup is corrupt & most likely unusable. Only one way to find out though, & that's by trying to restore from that backup. If your pics are not there, they are gone.
