Please help me with those Radeon minor problems.

Hello everyone, last night I have spent 4 hours for installation of my arch.
I have installed xorg111, catalyst, xfce, compiz-fusion, awn
after I installed everything i was a bit disappointed, because when i start compiz fusion
i have some graphical glitches like when i Right Click on desktop for xfce menubar->applications
i see only border with transparent menu where only my rollover highlights menu components.
I could not fix that, i don't know how to do it.
aside from that glitches GPU is working very good in 3d applications like 0ad, Heroes of Newerth.
please anyone help me, I love ArchLinux very much, i don't want to use Ubunu distros, i must use Proprietary drivers
because of some games

Ok so i looked at the settings for both original movie and new copy and pasted one. I am not sure what to look at, but here are all of the settings.
original -- New
Tracks- 4V 11A -- 3V 8A
Audio- 2 Outputs -- 2 outputs

The only difference i see here is the anamorphic setting. When i click it "on" in the new video it just stretches the picture. It does not get rid of the black wide screen lines.
I have been editing on this new timeline for some time now. Is there anyway i can salgave this project and not have to start from the begining again with a duplicate? I have been looking like a mad man to find where the settings are different.
I was able to recreate this problem at the apple store in front of the rep by doing the steps i originally posted. The apple rep didnt seem to understand why that happened.

you have a while(true) in your receive, so you accept the socket, do the // ... stuff, close it, and then sit there waiting to accept another one again. Am I seeing that correctly?

Yes, Restore. That is your only option. It will erase all of your data, but you can back it up on your computer before and once it's done restoring, resore it from a backup and everything will be just how it was. Just without restrictions. Just dont tell her...

I have several problems with itunes on my PC. I use 2 PC's and Iphone for work and I have an IPod nano. For about a week I have been having several problems with Itunes. The first problem is I cannot access the store, I get the loading screen and that is it. This screen lasts forever, nothing ever happens it just loads, and loads, and loads. . . .
I try to sign in thinking that will help the loading issue and I get error message saying "We could not complete your itunes store request. An unknown error occurred (-50)." This happens on both computers. I also cannot download from my iphone, I get the same error message. Running diagnostics does nothing, itunes says everything is in working order. Uninstalling and reinstalling also does nothing. I have had itunes for years now and up until about 10 days ago had no problems. My itunes is not behind a firewall on either computer. I'm saying all of this because I would prefer not to get obvious answers or links that do not help me. Please someone has to know how to fix this.

I'll try to lay this out as best I can. I've been going crazy over this.
I go to this particular photo forum and read a lot and post a lot. Ever since upgrading to mountain lion, every time I go to this forum, I now notice that certain words, completely random, are highlighted. Some of these highlighted words are underlined with one line, and some have two lines underneath. Some of the words, if you click on the word, thinking it might be a link to something pertinent to the subject being discussed, will lead you to some search type of site again random, they are all kinds of different places, but basically an ad, and some of these highlighted words, if you just drag your cursor over the word, an ad will pop up.
Please someone tell me that they have been experiencing this same type of thing.
Also, is it just me or does it seem like mountain lion has slowed down my computer just a little bit. I have a pretty fast internet connection here and sometimes when I click on a site, or type an address in the URL line, the little blue line that starts accross seems to go very slow. Sorry I can't describe things more accurately. If you need clarification I would be glad to try to help anyone understand. As I need to understand this. And I have been told that something has infected my browser. Now, these people telling me this are PC users, and I thought macs were not AS susceptible to infection or virus than PCs.

No, don't do that. You don't need anti-virus, anti-malware, or any Clean Up utilities, unless you want to spend a lot of time fixing all the damage those things do to your Mac.

Please, please help me with my E2 sync problems

I'm at my wits end. For some reason, both of my E2's started having sync problems. I've used Palms for years and loved them. I'm one step from throwing both in the trash and never buying another Palm product. Quick background- I've reloaded the palm desktop software with 6.2 and with 4.2.1 and about the best I've done is to get one synch before it refuses to go further. Here lately I can't even get that. I borrowed an old Palm software CD hoping that would help- I couldn't even import my files. Also- I went back to import my backups, and only one contact showed up. I bought DBfixit, and it showed over 10 thousand errors. That's right, 10 thousand. The last time I ran it I got 6000 errors. I was going to simply convert the Palm backup files to Outlook, but from what I understand I have to get them in the Palm desktop program before I can do that. I can't import anything now. I would really like to continue my love affair with Palm products, but this thing is getting really ugly. I wish I knew how many hours I've wasted in the past month trying to get this resolved. I know one or more of you guys have had this problem, and I beg for your help. Literally. Thanks, John

First off- thanks for trying to help. If memory serves, I started having sync problems over a year ago. I have 2- E2's, one for work, one for personal use. I would sync each Palm to a separate computer. I had my work computer serviced, and they erased the program, so I had to reload the program from Palm. I think I just went with the 6.2 because "newer is better". I immediately started having major problems syncing my work Palm, so I created a separate user name on my home computer to see if I would have better luck with it. I didn't. During this time, I could still sync my personal Palm, but that continued to fade as well. I noticed some Palm files would remain in my computer if I used the "remove program" function, so I went in and manually deleted any other files (except for backup). I've tried reloading the program on my work computer, and basically if I try to sync it with my work Palm, it will get stuck on "Synchronizing Date Book 2 of 12 completed". One other thing I noticed some months back- even when my personal Palm would sync, the phase of the sync on the handheld didn't agree with what was shown on the screen. I bought DBFixit and the first time it ran there was over 10000 errors, and the last time it had over 6000, so apparently things must really be goofed up.
New development: I just tried to sync my work Palm and got a new Fatal Alert error message on the handheld: AddrBDIndex.c,Line:201,Invalid birthday index count=147" whatever that means. When clicking the reset button, nothing responds. The handheld does a soft restart on its own after that.
So, that's about it. I just ran DBFixit on my personal Palm to see what's new in the world of errors. It shows "6702 Errors Found and NONE corrected". If I click okay, then the errors are "fixed" and show 0 errors on the top screen. If I run the program again immediately, it shows 6702 errors, so apparently it's not doing any good. The people at DBFixit seem to be just as puzzled as me. I've had good success with Palm up until a year ago when this mess started. Even if I could get my handheld records to import into the desktop and save them as Outlook files I could see some light, but that apparently isn't going to happen.
This is about all I can recall.

i have windows 7 only on my laptop now, but it seems that i have all the necessary products needed to play games etc. I have all my programs that need updates marked to do so as available. I have noticed when i go to particular sites now , like games in FB or games thru my AOL they tell me i need to install the newest version of the flash player. so i do that, go back to that site, same notification appears to install. i dont know ALOT about my laptop but have learned enough to know that i should very well it should be there if i have installed it time and time again correct? i dont understand the whole basis of what i might need for different sites/games. I have been playing the Big Fish game site since Dec. 2012 and it seems ever since i have been on a daily visit to that site SOMEHOW i cant play any other sites games now. so i read , do this, than this, if this or that is needed..........well it becomes a miss in my brain as to what they are telling/suggesting could be the problem. I truly need someone that has this knowledge to help me learn. i use to play on the webkinz world site for over a year, so last night i thought i would go back in there and again the flash player notice. so something has changed that i am unaware of it and how to solve it. i totally appreciate any help and time someone could give me. thank you,

Can anybody please help me with an Elements 10 problem?

I have been using Elements for several years now. Progressing from 5 to 7 then onto 10 without any problems of this type.
The original start up screen showed the first few thumbnails of all the photo's in the catalogue from where I could scroll down in date order.
to see anything that I wanted to in the catalogue.
Recently for some reason that I don't understand, on start up, there is a screen on the Left hand side of which there is a listing of most of the Folders that I have on my PC and the photographs that I have in elements displayed. This listing includes Desk top, My Documents, Microsoft answer desk,My Dropbox, My Music, My Pictures, etc,etc. Some of the folders have photo's in them, but most do not.
On the Right hand sde of the screen my photographic fiolders are listed and these can be opened in the normal way.There is a blank space in the middle of the screen into which the photo's can be opened out.
