Please help - Motherboard fails to boot on power up

I could really do with some help here please as my motherboard fails to boot on power up.
I get the message "
Reboot & select proper boot device or install boot media in selected boot device and press a key"
When I press a key I get the same message.
When I press the reset key the system boots into XP ok from the Raid Array.
BIOS settings are to boot from raid
HELP PLEASE as I need to get the system stable before I flash the BIOS with and upgrade.

Please help motherboard not posting

890gxm g65 a good riable stble board and is it good for overclocking and unlocking an amd phenom II 960T to a 5 core?

.I've rma to msi 3 times already the first rma was a 785 gtm-e45 the problem was the mosfests blown on me. K they replaced it with a 785 gt e63 and it died bios flash.. i rma 785 gt e63 they replaced with 785g e53. it died. am getting ready to ship the 785g e53 back to msi i paid 10$ with my credit card for the price difference between the msi 890gxm-g65 i ask them to replace it with. before i ship it bakc is there anything i can do i try everything to fix this mobo 785g e53 swap powersupplies swap ram swap harddrives everything except cpu. my specs is
psu: coolmax 600watt
ram: g skill ripjaws x 1.5 volt cas9 1600 2x4gb 8gb
cpu: amd phenom II 960T
OS: windows 7
i aint too long got the 785g e53 i aint even used it for 2 days untill it blown i had over 2 weeks aint been able to use cause i didnt have ddr3 ram to put in cause i had ddr2. see i upgraded form ddr2 from the previous motherboards. i talked to donald from msi the guy who's hard to understand. i ask told him i would like to upgrade from ddr2 to ddr3 so he shiped the 785g e53.
well anyway please help me fix this mobo
see what happen is i was updating with windows update it got to the 10 update out of 11 and then the computer just flipped off on me, K I turned on an no video just 4 leds on my mobo active phase switching no northbridge led not showing on. so i reset cmos. and still nothing just 4 leds no north bridge led. Ok i then swapped the parts the ram the psu and still nothing. so i took the heatsink off cpu to see if its getting hot and u no what it wasn't an antoher thing am notgetting a light on my case power switch but i can still turn on with button ad yes i got it connected right. so what i did was switch it out with a old dell mobo and plug power switch connecter to mobo and the led work. so it has to be the mobo or (cpu hope not) so what can i do please help anyways it go's am going be ok with it being replaced with a 890gxm g65 which is good and better i hope.. Qustion on 890gxm is it good and reliable and stable and good for unlock 960T to a 5 core?????. so if theres anyhing i can do to fix the 785g e53 please tell me. cause i did all i can. i dont see anything burned on the mobo bye the way.
and everything is connected right the cpu is in the socket correctly and the cpu power connecter also.

Please Help! My Macbook won't Power up after I cancelled an update!

I was installing updates on my macbook when i accidentally pressed the power off button. Now everytime I try to turn it on, a screen appears and says, "You need to restart your computer. Hold down the Power button for several seconds or press the Restart button." I have done both and nothing has worked! I have tried to take the battery ou and press for 10 seconds and everything in the book...I dont know what else to do! I have had this macbook for less than a month! Please help!

Take your original DVD installation disk that came with your MacBook and use that to boot your system (turn your system off, GENTLY insert the DVD until you feel a little resistance and then press the power button, then make certain that the DVD has been taken fully into the slot and immediately after that hold down on the "c" key so that the system boots from the DVD) . Once you reach the install screen look for the Utilities menu and select the Disk Utility from that menu. Once you enter the Disk Utility try a verify disk operation and if that reports errors then attempt a repair disk operation. After this, do a verify permissions (from within the Disk Utility) and repair those if needed. After this quit the Disk Utility and when you return to the installer screen quit the installer while holding down on the mouse button (or trackpad button), the latter will cause the DVD to be ejected and the system will again attempt to boot from the internal hard drive.
If after these operations you still can't boot from your hard drive then you will probably have to do an archive and install using your original installation DVD.

Please help! emac wont boot after installing os 9 alongside os x!

I am a teacher. My school recently gave me an emac to use in my classroom that has Tiger installed on it. I have a bunch of OS 9 games that I want the kids to be able to use, so I decided to try to install OS 9 alongside os x. I just installed OS 9 on the same partition as os x using an OS 9 emac installation disc. I had to install OS 9 on the same partition as OS X because I am not allowed to repartition the school computer. I tested out classic in OS X, but it didn't play the games well. I then tried to boot naively into os 9 by going into system preferences, then to startup, and then selected OS 9 as what to boot into. When I restarted, the only thing I was left with was a floppy disk with a flashing question mark inside. I tried to boot back into OS X by holding the option key, but my only option for booting is OS 9. I then tried to boot back into OS X by holding down the "x" key, but it still tries to boot into OS 9. Could someone please help?

Since the machine boots to the OS 9 Install CD, it is indeed OS 9 bootable, by definition.
Since the installer on the CD was able to 'see' the destination drive, then that drive does have OS 9 drivers on it.
Those two are the primary causes for a machine not being able to use OS 9 as a boot OS.
I assume you accepted the default install of OS 9 and did not customize it. If that is the case, then it should have installed all files needed by your machine in order to use it as a bootable OS.
About all that is left is make sure that the OS 9 System Folder has been blessed - registered as a bootable OS. To do that, boot to the OS 9 Install CD but do not run the installer. Instead, open the icon for the hard drive (if it is not already open), locate and open the System Folder (not the folder named just System - that's OSX). Drag the files named Finder and System (both are loose in the System Folder's window) out to the desktop. Close the Syatem Folder. Then drop those two files back into the closed System Folder.
Once that is done the System Folder should be displaying a miniture glyph of the Mac OS logo superimposed on the icon for that folder.
One other question, re the CD you used for the installation. Was it a Software Install CD specific to that machine (does it show eMac on the label)? Or was it a retail OS 9 Install CD (white label, gold 9)?

I know it was an asus, shame on me. I returned the Asus, and the pins were bent I believe in transport so no warranty and bought a new MSI Z77A-G45 motherboard. Assembled the system again. Still no luck
Action for 200ms en then dead again.. I was fearing for the pins on the motherboard, I thought maybe I'm an idiot and Im doing something wrong with connection the cpu. But the pins are not bent so that's not it. I removed everything just a bare board. Plug in the power supply and nothing. Same problem.
I don't believe all these boards are DOA. The changes of that are so minor. All I could think of next is the PSU. I connected the PSU to an older system boots just fine. Also just tried another PSU on this new motherboard.. same problem tries to go on but fails imminently.
I googled and saw that like I thought a motherboard without a cpu should atleast go on, and maybe beep that the cpu is missing. But it should turn on. In my case it doesn't.
Also when I plug the extra 4 pin next to the 24 pin connector on the motherboard it won't go on at all. Nothing nada, remove the 4 pin and it will try for a split second and die. (like stated above)
I'm totally lost in this and I humbly like to ask some advice. I know in my last topic I've been a bit harsh and msi bashing.
Btw, the supplier tested the first MSI board and found it dead as well. So somehow I dont think these problems are connected to the first MSI board.

Refer to page 25 in regards to Jpwr1 & Jpwr2
Re-install the mobo into your case after counting the stand offs and comparing them to the holes in the mobo after refering to page 24 of the manual.
Install 2 sticks of ram for dual channel operations as seen on page 26 of the manual.
Install your cpu and hook up BOTH jpwr1 & jpwr2 make sure you hook all 24 pins ups
Then hook up the case connectors (page 35-40)
Try to start it at this point/ w/o the discrete vga and let us know what happens. At worst with a bad cpu, it will spin up for a moment and enter a boot loop.
Ofcourse this isn't my setup as I started. I had it all wired up and connected. Inclusing memory, vga, ssd etc. But it wouldn't start, and from that point you start removing part after part to get to the point where it will start. In this case it won't.

I've had this K7N2 up and running for about a year now. It's an xp 1700 at 1833mhz. It has fun fine and stable with no overheating problems whatsoever. The problem is this morning I turned it on and it froze right after the cpu speed of 1833mhz was being reported. The led code on the back indicated it freezes during "bios sign on".
--I tried moving the speed jumper over to see if I could boot up at a lower fsb and clock speed. It froze in the exact same spot but with a slower reported clock speed.
--I then tried to clear the cmos by moving the jumper over for a few seconds with the power off and it did not clear the cmos, upon rebooting it acted as if it was still overclocked to 1833mhz.
-- I tried to clear the cmos by taking the battery out for 30 minutes with it unplugged but that didn't work either.
The question is, do you think my mobo is shot? or is it the processor? Any ideas, I'm very open to suggestions at this point. I noticed newegg has some newer reconditioned boards for cheap so I'm not to concerned at this point, just wondering if it can be salvaged.

What type of RAM are you using? Try one stick at a time and try relaxing the timings.

As of this morning, I can't use my Blackberry curve 8310......for anything.
My problems started just as I was about to do a routine USB cable sync between my BB and Outlook.
I was informed by Desktop Manager v 4.7 that OS 4.5 is available.
I delayed the sync, and start the update process.
Everything............. except my BB restart and data reload.......... completed flawlessly.
Then a message says the update has failed, & the entire thing halts.
So, I wait a while then pull the USB cable & turn off the BB.
Turn on......the result was hourglass & white screen.
Removed & replaced battery....result was hourglass & white screen.
Restarted PC and connected BB...........result was hourglass & white screen & Desktop Manager does not recognise BB Connection, but Windows XP sees BB media minus folders.
Reinstalled Desktop manager....... still not recognising BB USB connection on the main screen.
Even though I have all the information saved in Outlook, I am getting desperate.
QUESTIONS:
Is there anything I can do to get my BB curve 8310 operational again?
Should I consider reloading an OS?
My phone is unlocked, so not sure if trying to download and reinstall an OS will LOCK the phone.
The unit's previous startup screen used to show a T-Mobile image.
Should I download the UK T-Mobile OS upgrade?

Good luck, this will work... I have done it many times.
Be patient with JLCmder. If it does not work at first, keep trying, I have seen it take 20-25 tries before it "connected".
Try it with and without the battery inserted if you must.

post on table operations on SQL Server). What message type is going into the send port, perhaps tracing can help you to see what messagetype
is going to send port (you can now use BizTalk CAT Instrumentation Framework Controller to find out, see my latest
post). My guess is that what you test with in VS with instance of a message is not similar as too what is happening inside
BTS.

Help! P6N wont boot after power outage.

We had a power outage this morning and after the power was restored I reset my UPS. Now my system is almost dead. The only indications of life are that the HD access light, and the power light flash at a 1 Hz rate. I tried resetting the BIOS (SW3), but no change.
Motherboard: MSI7320 (P6N)
CPU: Intel Q6600
RAM: 4Gb OCZ Platinum

try with a different power supply first.
remove all components...
test a RAM stick by stick a time
left it boot only with minimal processor, a stick of ram and a graphic, maybe if you have.
you can leave not to put your hard disk / optical devices at a moment.

Please Help stuck on apple boot logo

I am stucked at the apple boot logo and i can't disable filevalut to go in safe mode. When i've pressed cmd p r and went in utility disk it seems that i have free on the macintosh hd only 16.3 MB so i have to go in safe mode to delete some files and reboot the system. Anyone can help me?

I can't help, I'm afraid. My suggestion is that you re-post your message with a different title, including that you cannot get into Safe Mode. It would also be good to include the year and model (e.g., Mid-2010 MacBook Pro) so folks know more about what you are dealing with.
One thought I have is to replace your hard drive with a larger one, install your original OS X on that new HDD and arrange to access your current drive via USB so you can get the files off of it. But there may be another way -- though you clearly need a larger hard drive in your computer.

I am new to weblogic server & this technologies ... we created IPM,UCM,SOA clusters on one domain (my_domain), all the servers of all the clusters in 1st machine started .... but IPM server is not starting on the 2nd machine (other servers - SOA and UCM started on the 2nd machine)

when I check the error number BEA-000140, it says
Cause - Server failed to deserialize object since it does not have the class definition. This usually happens if your application classes are not deployed on all the nodes in the cluster. It is preferable to deploy beans to all the nodes of the cluster.
Action - Make sure all the classes are available on all the nodes of the cluster.
Could any one give steps as how to do this or the solution to this problem.... I am new to weblogic..

This is definitely the problem:
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: oracle.imaging.input.inputagent.InputAgent
The cause is likely that the configuration during installation of IPM went wrong somehow or the particular way you are starting the server is missing the IPM libraries. This is not so much a WebLogic Server issue as an IPM issue. I recommend you try posting in one of the Content Mgmt forums like WebCenter Content or open a support case with the IPM team.

I recently receieved a used Power Mac G5, Model Identifier: PowerMac7.2.
The Specs are:
Apple Mac G5 Tower. G5 1.6gHz Processor, 1 Gig DDR Ram, SATA 80 GiG Hard Drive, DVD-R Optical Drive, Nvidia AGP FX 5200 64 Bit Video Card. This unit operates on Leopard 10.5 OS
Can someone who knows Macs well help me with software and hardware. What is the best set up I can have to make my G5 fast, powerful, and up-to-date without buying a new one.

Highest OS you should use is 10.5...Leopard. RAM...between 4GB and 8GB. It will run FCP 7...the entire suite...but it will not convert anything to ProRes. It doesn't have the power. It won't be able to deal with most (talking 80-90%) of the new camera formats (AVCintra, AVCHD, H.264, RED).
Sorry, but that machine is 6 years out of date. Actually...1.6Ghz processor...8 years out of date. There is no way it will be "up to date." Your MacBook Pro will run CIRCLES around it.

i've just finally managed to install ovi player (though on my father's laptop; did not work for my pc nor my dad's), registered under comes with music and was all good to go -- or so i thought.
i'm having trouble downloading anything. each track gets a "download failed" status after "downloading".
i'm wondering if there were any steps i failed to take; my usb is connected under media transfer.
it's pretty upsetting to be continuously let down by nokia, however i am optimistic for a solution.
prompt responses/any help would be greatly appreciated.

update:
i've managed to download an entire album, so praise goodness. however, i still get "download failed" a bunch of times. its occurrence seems random as of now, and i would still really appreciate an explanation or solution to this. thanks.

PLEASE HELP RE FAILED DOWNLOAD

I've trie to download application frmo ovi, however download failed at first attempt, and then failed again at second attempt, however I've now received 5 texts thanking me for my purchase, so no doubt have been charged 5 times (at £8 per app as well).
Having scrolled through the ovi support webpage for a resolution or assistance, I must say, its the worst support I've ever come across. I've been trying for half an hour to get an email contact so I can raise this problem, but ths ovi support page won't let me sign in (404 page not found error).
Can anyone provide me with a contact email for ovi store where I can raise this issue to someone.
