Please Help! My 16g phone is always full.

I have deleted top filling aps, have fewer pics than ever historically, and ran "phone clean" on a PC. Help me find out whats clogging my phone. This problem became constant after replacing my phone under warranty t the apple store for a failed screen lock button. My phone keeps saying cant runbackup due to Itunes storage (purchased extra). Just turned off Cloud back up and synced to PC. I WAS ON APPLE SUPPORT A FEW WEEKS AGO RIGHT AFTER AND THEY DIDN'T HELP, now they want to charge me to talk again! When my pbone was linked before it listed over 50% as "other". Thats when I did the Phone Clean and only freed up a few MB. My phone does not list how much storage is taken by texts, although admittedly I never delete them. Will these really take up all my storage? Shows 400 photos in "about" but 237 are in photo stream, 185 in album...sounds like a lot but I used to always have 1,000 in photo stream and up to 600 in album with out constant storage issues. I CAN'T EVEN TAKE ONE PICTURE WITH OUT DELETING SOMETHING. Very frustrating.
I suppose all my diagnostic and usage info can go to apple for them to improve their product by I have to pay extra to get help from a problem that started with their replacement phone I have always loved my I-phone (even with may new options on the market) and find myself defending this phone as many of my friends defect to other smart phones.....this might push me over the edge.

If you have pictures and videos in your text messages, they can take up a lot of space. You can try to get rid of "other" by restoring your phone. Be sure to back it up first, then restore from the backup. You might want to check how much usage your apps are using as well.

Welcome to Nokia discussions board!
In order to fix this issue, I advise you to perform a soft reset: type *#7780# on your phone's keypad. The default lock code is 12345. If the issue persists, perform a hard reset. First of all, back up your data using Nokia Suite. Once your data is fully backed up, type *#7370# on the keypad.

PLEASE HELP!My phone won't stop rebooting!

For some reason my phone turns on, and then the screen showing "Blackberry" with the loading bar appears, but it gets about 3 quarters of the way then flashes off then starts to repeat the same process. I am lost on what to do, even after reading sevral solutions that haven't worked!
Also when I plug it into my computer and open Blackberry desktop software, it recognises the phone but won't connect to it! Please please help!

However, there's no way for anyone to tell you which OS to download for your model BB. If your carrier supports multiple, then you should download the one running on your BB. But, in it's current condition, you have no way to tell now -- only if you already knew before this all happened could you possibly know now. So, I'd suggest going with the most recent version. Your BB, in it's current state, is pretty much toast anyway (including, btw, all of your data...hopefully you've been backing up regularly).

Have you tried connecting it to iTunes and restoring it? That's what it's trying to tell you to do. It's in recovery mode. If that doesn't work, then you'll have to get the hardware problem dealt with before you can do anything.

Try a reset by pressing and holding the sleep/wake button and the home button for 20 seconds (maybe longer) until the Apple logo appears, ignore the red slider. Then turn back on. You won't lose any data doing the reset.

PLEASE HELP, My Real media Movies always stutter.

PLease if any one can help. My product is finished,
and on my pentium 4 it works great. But when ever any one with a
lesser procesor uses it the Compressed real Player movies stutter
and even stop at some points. they all work effrtless in a Real
Player movie player outside of a director movie. So it is director
that some how slows them down. Has this happened to any one else?

The problem is that your digital video files are compressed
with too
high a data rate. The higher the data rate the more work the
processor
has to perform. You may also find that a data rate that is
too high will
cause playback problems on slower CD readers.
I don't use real media, so I can't give you any information
on how to
compress your files so that they will work.

iCloud does nothing for the physical storage on your iPhone that is being taken up. Your iCloud and iPhone are two totally different storage entities.
You can de-authorize the other computers you're not using from your Apple ID so that you can authorized this computer you're using and move stuff off your iPhone http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1420
You'll also want to check the Other storage when you can hook it up to iTunes and see the capacity bar. If its over about 3GB, there may be a software corruption and you'll need to restore your iPhone as new http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1867

Nokia 5800 - phone memory always full

got my phone yesterday from prepay mania, i hav an 8gb memory card in it btw, whenever i go to the menu i get messages saying c: phone memory full, please delete some data. sometimes it doesnt let me access particular features such as "settings" and even returns me to my home screen
my question was how do i move all my future downloads and all the stuff on my phone memory to my memory card, so i wont get these messages coming up all the time

if you have installed applications, uninstall them and reinstall them but this time choose the memory card as your main destination (the application should ask where do you want to install it). Also, if you have configured an email account, make sure you choose the memory card to store your emails (go to the messaging/email application, select options - settings - other and where it says memory in use select E: Memory Card (instead of phone memory). Finally, if you have been using the Web application, go to options - clear privacy data (select cache and cookies).
If none of these options solve your problem, then do a hard reset (after backing up the phone, of course)

PLEASE HELP! N95 phone memory problem

I have a N95 8GB which is now about 2 years old. The phone itself works fine, well, that was until yesterday morning.
It hasnt been recently dropped, there is no logical reason i can see, but the phone has lost its mind.
It's been telling me since yesterday morning that there is no phone memory left. So I completely wiped all my music, videos, pictures, messages etc. To no avail, it's still telling me there is no phone memory.
I went to delete a contact, which are actually saved on my sim card, and it told me there wasnt enough memory to do this.
I've restored factory settings, no joy.
It also keeps popping up with "carousel already in use".
I can't now receive txts either because it tells me not enough memory to read.
Am I going to have to get a new phone on my inusrance, or is this a problem I can sort with your help?

Go to Menu>Tools>File Manager>Options>Memory details, this will give you a run-down of how much phone memory is free and how much is used, then a breakdown of where the memory is being used. Your phone memory is about 140Mb in total (don't confuse this with the 8Gb - that's just "Mass memory" for storage of data like music, video and pictures plus it is possible to install some apps in there. The phone memory is used for processing as well as sotrage, which is why you get these errors if too much is used.
In the breakdown, you'll see the following items:
- Calendar: this should only be a few Kb, perhaps a few hundred Kb if you use the feature often, but not too much
- Contacts: should also be measured in Kb, even if many of your contacts have images
- Messages: should be measured in Kb, if it goes into Mb or worse still Gb then you have Bluetooth of MMS messages hogging space - save the attachments to mass memory and delete the messages.
- Images, videos and soundclips should not be large - perhaps a small number of ringtones, images that you use as backgrounds etc. but the bulk of these media files are best moved to mass memory.
- Documents should be tiny, keep documents in mass memory.
- MIDP (Java) apps and SIS (Symbian) apps could be filling space, you might be able uninstall some of these and reinstall them to mass memory if needs be, but be aware that some apps must be in phone memory and that some of the space taken by SIS apps will be preinstalled stuff that you can't move.
If none of the above can explain the memory full erros and you do seem to have a large amount of Mb free, then it could be a software issue that can be solved by reformatting the phone with the code *#7370# - make sure that you use PC Suite Content Copier to backup important data first, and after the reformat when you restore the backed-up data, don't include settings in the restoration and also leave out any data types that you know you don' use.

Hey, I aggree with Tempelton for the most part, but if you are an advanced user on the computer on the phone, there is one thing you can try. There is a program called RecBoot, which might help you, and here is a page that might help you. http://jaxov.com/2010/05/recboot-iphone-recovery-mode/ If you are not an advanced user, I would NOT recomend using RecBoot, and just proceeding with the restore. A little consolation could be that you probably had Photo Stream on, and you might have been backing up to iCloud, which should mean you'll have some stuff after the resote. Sorry this happened!

Make sure your case is not obstructing the usb to dock connector cable when you plug it in (you might try removing the case just to be sure). Also examine the dock connector on the bottom of the phone to be sure there isn't any debris on it that would interfere with a good connection. And make sure you are using a usb to dock connector cable that you know works (such as the one that is working with your wife's phone). If you iTunes still won't recognize your phone, but it does recognize your wife's phone, then you may have a hardware problem, and you would need to take it to the Apple store (if you can) or an authorized reseller for evaluation.
