THER IS NOT A BOX TO CHECK FOR IT IN THE "LOGIN ITMES"-- UNDER ACCOUNTS. I have the lock --unlocked and it's just not there as an option to check--HOWEVER ther other user have it and can switch---It just really *****, because I as the administrator user has to log out and quick applications before another user can logi in---PLEASE HELP ??????????????????

Let's try this again.
*Go to the Apple Menu and open System Preferences.
*Click on Accounts.
*If lock is locked click on lock and authenticate.
*Click on Login Options
*Now look almost directly to the right of Login Options (just two lines up) is a checkbox with the words "Enable Fast User Switching."
*Check the checkbox.

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in Full Screen mode with all toolbars hidden.
* Press F11 to toggle full screen mode (Firefox/File > Full Screen)
If the menu bar is hidden then press the F10 key or hold down the Alt key, that should make the menu bar appear.
Make sure that toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible: "View > Toolbars"
* If items are missing then open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" or via "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout" (Linux, Windows)
* If a missing item is in the toolbar palette then drag it back from the Customize window on the toolbar
* If you do not see an item on a toolbar and in the toolbar palette then click the "Restore Default Set" button to restore the default toolbar set up.

First, remove Comodo. You don't need it, and it sounds like it is causing a problem.
The other symptoms sound like you have adware installed. Comodo might have detected some components of that adware, or it might not have, but whatever the case, you should NEVER allow any anti-virus software to quarantine or delete files from your computer. See: How to remove infected files.

You do not have to restore to factory settings/new iPod. Restoring from backup does not restore the screen-lock passcode.
Also the article you provided a link troi does not apply to the iPod touch. The article says:

I managed to create any user in AD from Apex using dbms_ldap package and set many of his attributes. But I cannot set that my user belongs to specific group, let's say MY_GROUP. I guess the name of attribute for group is 'member' or 'memberOf', so I tried them both in the same way as I've done for other attributes:

firstly the attributes member and memberOf are special attributes in AD having a set of predefined values. Hence an error will be thrown if you try to assign them values like 'MY_GROUP'. There are two basic solutions to this problem : Either you define an OU in your AD which will act as your 'MY_GROUP'. This is a quick fix solution and is not robust at all. The other solution is to add your own property in the tree , something like 'roleCode', you can then assign it any value you want.
But the problem now is, AD does not allow addition of new attributes in the structure. You have to use ADAM in for this and you can specify a common linking mechanism between AD and ADAM now such as email address can act as the link between both the directories.

Just installed FMS2 on Debian (etch, 2.16.5-1 kernel). When I
connect to localhost:1111/fms2_console.swf and get the infamous XML
output which includes the text, "Admin user requires valid username
and password." The *.xml and *.ini files haven't been touched after
installation. All four daemons (fmsedge, fmsmaster, fmscore,
fmsadmin) are running and listening on the correct ports.
Any tips? (I'm sure this is easy to solve...)

The value for SERVER.ADMIN_PASSWORD needs to be the encrypted string for your password. That should solve your problem.

I am trying to send a peice of mail to one of my friends but when i click send it says:The SMTP server “smtp.mac.com” rejected the password for user “PierceP”
Please re-enter your password, or cancel. But i type in my password and nothing changes. I even went into my preferences and changed the password but it still will not allow me to send mail. PLease help

A great experience for you might be to visit one and let them setup your mail for you (for free) and debug, if there is a problem of any sort. You can make an advanced reservation at Apple Stores at http://www.apple.com/buy/. Select the nearest store and make reservation. If you haven't been in an Apple Store, you're in for a treat.

Ive never bought anything from apple untill the 160 gb ipod classic. Ive been using itunes but now with the iPod I was looking a bit how things work.
Now ive found out I don't seem to have a playlist on my iPod with the most played songs. Ive connected the iPod with itunes and made a smart playlist with played on 25. Now the list is there but there are only 24 songs in it and it isn't showing the ammount of how many times ive played them.
Now ive inspirated this playlist by many other older iPods ive seen but never owned where there is, somehow, a playlist with the most played song.
is this just simply impossible?
Also, I was wondering if itunes updates itself after conntecting (so it would update - for example - the ratings that have changed on my iPod.

2 months ago my broadband started dropping out for long periods every day.
i contacted bt they said there was a fault with their side of things, and engineer came and went. slightly better connections for a while, but speed terrible. i have now had engineer 3 times, and speed is now the slowest ever at under 0.15mb most of the time. i live in an area which is supposed to achieve 1-3mb, and have previously had 0.5-0.9mb which is fine for me, but 0.15 is not.
i can't even stream the online help videos suggested here on this site on ways to improve things here.
i am getting VERY frustrated with technical support, they say they are doing something to the line and wait 2 days and all will be fine, this has now happened 4 times and i wait the time and no improvement occurs.

Please Help! Photo Import has Suddenly Slowed to a Crawl -- 19 hours

I have transferred 1,000s of RAW photo files to my HD and external HD with no problem, until a few days ago. Suddenly, what used to take about 3 hours now takes 19-24 hours. I can't figure it out.
I've changed card readers, I've tried different memory cards, I've even downloaded to external HDs and tried to upload directly to my HD. I've also hooked up my camera and tried to transfer the files via a USB cable (traditionally the slowest way). I've also tried to upload using different software programs: Lightroom, iPhoto and Bridge.
I've also ran the Disk Utility on my HD and there weren't any problems.
Nothing works.
Please help.

If ran Disk Utility and only used +Repair Disk Permissions+, you may want to startup from another disk and run +Repair Disk+ (to look for and repair disk directory errors). If you don't have another bootable disk, you can startup from the Mac OS X (current version) installation disk. Insert disk and startup with the C key held down to start from the optical drive. When you get to the first Installer screen (after language selection), go up to the Utilities menu and select Disk Utility, then run +Repair Disk+ on your normal startup drive.
Also, do you have sufficient free space on your hard drive? While you were move those 1000s of photo file around, did your startup drive ever get to less than 10GB free?

My iPhone will not turn on or do anything. When I plug my iPhone into my computer to restore it it comes up with error 2001 or 21 and I've tried everything. Please help experienced apple users!

That does happen. It depends on how hard the server is being hit, as well as the connection speed of your system. If you are on a windows system, you will want to disable any antivirus or firewall software during the download.
