it rarely works and when it does, i have to take off the key and press the button a lot. and when it works, it ends up not working later

So I looked up the info on OWC as suggested and found the correct memory to upgrade but not sure how much to get and which option? I wanted to know how much space I have available to upgrade so I don't buy something that's more than what can be used. I'm not sure if I need 4GB or 8GB of ram? Both Memory Clean and Clean My Mac could have cause the damage which triggered the kp.
I would back up your Mac, erase and reinstall. Then Migrate your user data from the backup.
Uninstalling Tuxera is a troubleshooting process. You don't have to keep it uinstalled, just long enough to test to see if it is causing the problems.
However, if it doesn't happen regularly, it would be hard to determine if it was the cause. And, as I mentioned, I don't think it would be the cause.

You may need to update your MacBook Air with your new Apple ID password.
OS X Mountain Lion and later: Open the Messages app, select Messages > Preferences, then click the Accounts icon.
If you signed out before changing your Apple ID password, click Accounts and enter your current Apple ID to sign in.
If you're still signed in with your previous Apple ID password, click Accounts, then select your previous Apple ID from the list of accounts. Click Sign Out, then click Sign Out again when asked to confirm. Enter your current Apple ID to sign in.

Did you upgrade to Lion just before setting up iCloud? that's more likely to be the issue. PhotoShop CS2 is a PPC program and won't run on Lion - on Snow Leopard it requires Rosetta to emulate PPC, and this is not included in Lion. CS3 and lateer apparently work though with issues.
Click on the program's icon in the Finder and hit command-i. Near the top of the pane it will say 'Kind': if it says 'PowerPC' then this is the problem. It will not run on Lion and there is no workaround. You will need to revert to Snow Leopard (you could install this on an external disk and start up from that).

Hi, I have now got ne new wireless keyboard because my old one broke. I connected the keyboard, the F3 key (Mission Control) functions, the F4 key, especially for Lunchpad does not work, I'm Lion on it, previously on the old keyboard I had in 2009, he occupiedwith Launchpad F5.
Have System Preferences / Keyboard / Keyboard Shortcuts reset everything goes ......... but not yet!!

Your migration to Lion brought over a previous hot key preferences document. And this contains one bad key that wasn't updated.
- Quit System Preferences (if open)
- Delete this document to remove a carry-over mapping error.
- Then logout
Note: That this will delete any existing modified keyboard assignments. Re-assign changes manually.
Note2: This document is in your users preferences folder.

Please Help! My brand new imac randomly disconnects from the internet. We have a BT hub - wi-fi. I have googled this issue and see that it is relatively common and it is incredibly frustrating. sadly, I have been unable to wade through the suggestions others have had as to how to solve the problem as i have no technical knowledge and am basically baffled by the list of suggestions. Please can anyone explain why this happens and what to do? It is fairly simple to reconnect each time but it is driving me mad having to. It generally happens when the computer is asleep but sometimes in the middle of doing something. Thanks!!!!!!

What frequency, security are you running? It would have been helpful if you specified in the first post.
Did you create a new Location in System Preferences->Network pane, Location pull-down. Create a new custom named Location. Then after you create that new Location click on the 'Apply' button to save that new custom named Location. See if that helps.
Lastly a lot of people have reported that WEP in lion is problmatic and it would be better to use WPA2 if you can.

W520 Keyboard: Noisey (Backspace)-Key

A few weeks into using (well, configuring more than using, at this point) my new W520, I've become increasingly aware of (read: annoyed by) the sound (and feel) of my (Backspace)-key. It has a wee bit of a clatter to it. Given another thread I just read,‡ I guess I should count myself fortunate: other than the Backspace issue, I have no complaints about the keyboard.
One thing worth noting about the clatter sound(/feel): it occurs on the release of the key; not on the downward keystroke.
Another interesting point, a curious point, indeed, is that the clatter seems to vary a bit with repeated keystrokes; sometimes, there's no clatter at all. But usually, there's some... and again, the actual sound and feel of the key (upon release) varies a bit with repeated strokes.
Maybe this last point (the variation) wouldn't seem so odd to me if I understood the actual mechanics involved; i.e., the physical attributes of the mechanism.
In any case, I guess what I'm really looking for is any kind of feedback or suggestions.
Apparently, there's a way to lift up the keyboard (which I guess one has to do in order to add memory), and maybe if I did that, I'd discover some small piece of debris or something that's causing the problem.
Because the sound occurs on the upstroke, I'm thinking (perhaps, wishfully) that what I'm experiencing doesn't mean the longevity of the key's proper functioning is compromised. So, it's not so much that I'm concerned about key failure as I'm just annoyed by the sound.
Well, I guess that's it. It's the middle of the night, and beyond this, I'll just ramble.
So... any thoughts? I'm open to anything... including "Don't sweat the small stuff; you should just live with it." ...OR... on the other end of the spectrum: "If worse comes to worse, you could always swap in a new keyboard." Could I?

Can someone please help me? I have lost over 24 hours of work done in Acrobat.

To give you the background of what keeps happening is I compile a pdf on my macbook pro from several different documents I need to put together. Then I uploaded it to an email account and downloaded and saved it on my pc (Windows XP and Acrobat 9) in order for me to add more individualized Bookmarks and text boxes. The total file size (if this matters at all) is 57MB. I added hundreds of Bookmarks, text boxes and highlighting to the pdf and saved it every 10 minutes (this is in addition to my Acrobat program being set to autosave every 5 minutes). The file saved my additions and changes no problem. When I was finished working for the night I saved the file and closed it before shutting down my pc. The next day when I opened the pdf to continue working on it NONE of my bookmarks, text boxes or highlighting was there with the exception of a few changes I made to the wording of of a couple original bookmarks. I do not understand where all my work went or if there is any way to get it back. If anyone knows what is going wrong or how I could recover my work please respond to my posting. I am afraid to work on the document anymore because this was not the first time this has occurred. PLEASE HELP ME!!

I have no clue about recovering the info, but when you say you save you should always use Save As. That clears unneeded info from the file. With the file size you have, that may be an important need.

so yesterday I went to the Apple store (yeah, again) and they said that iOs 6.1.2 made the wifi chip overheat and that iOs 6.1.3 was supposed to fix this wifi problem (but once your wifi option has grayed out your phone has to be changed)... So they gave me a new phone and I've no problem so far. The wifi works very well, as before!

i have a sound blaster audigy 2 ZS platinum pro. In every program i try to use (FL 4, reason, krystal, ...) i can not even hear my guitar when plugged in to the sound card. I have tried the obvious, making sure i'm not in digital only mode, checking the cables. Some one please help.

Does Line-In work w/ normal line sources?
You propably need a pre-amp for guitar input through Line-In port but, if the port you're using is a Hi-Z port (you find this information from Audigy User's Guide) then, it should work even w/o additional pre-amp.
