PLEASE help!!!!my new comp isnt working!!!!!

Okay, i am building a new system, i bought most parts and kept some from original computer, i have put them all together, and the computer starts but i see no picture(my old sytem is 1 and half years old, so it isnt that old), the hard drive is starting up, the vedio card starts up, the cpu stats up, no bios picture,no picture!!!!!!, im not sure if its the old parts that are causing the problem, ll list the specs below, if anyone can help me, please tell what is causing the issue, ive ruled out all new parts and i think its either the ram, psu or harddrive, im pretty sure the harddrive isnt at fault. those parts i havent uprgraded, just used em with new system... i need help fast, because i have no computer working atm! and i dont wont to waste money!!!

****() symbolises my old parts i am still using.. help will be much appreciated, i am using the internet at the local library, so please need responses fast to fix my problem.. i have set all jumpers accordingly, i am ameter user with computers, so i know a fair bit, but this is very wierd, im thinking maybe ram is the issue...

I used some old parts I had to build a 2005 Media Center Edition computer. I used a old Pentium 4 2.8 and got a new Asus P4P 800-E Deluxe board. It supports very large hard drives to record TV. I used an IDE hardrive and I had to reinstall the operating system twice, because I forgot to disable the Raid in the bios. It was looking for a Raid System and couldn't find one. When Windows installed it rebooted and I disabled the Raid Controller in the bios, it worked great after that.
I am using 2 SATA WD Raptors on my MSI board, but I hear people saying to use the Microsoft IDE contoller drivers instead of the nVidia ones for IDE drives. Good Luck!

Please help my led indicator isnt working?

hi i literally got my blackberry on friday and now my led light has stopped working all together.... doesnt flash green red blue with bluetooth. iv checked all the settings and they all say its on. i have downloaded things like ringtones and color id where the led indicator was flashing lots of colors and i dont know whether theyve done something to it? my lights defo working as when i switch it off it goes red.

I'm not that familiar with the color id app but I would be willing to bet it might be causing the problem. Try deleting it and see if the led starts working again.

Can Someone please help me. My iphone 3gs isnt conecting to my computer. Its a pc. I downloaded like 10 apps from the app store directly to my phone, and ever since then my comp wont connect with the iphone. It will still read it as a mass media drive but doesnt show up in "my computer" does anyone have any suggestions? Please i am desperate for my phone!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are these not one and the same? This allows for manually transferring photos and/or videos from the iPhone's Camera Roll to your computer's hard drive with Windoze ONLY. Nothing else.
Are you saying your iPhone is no longer recognized by iTunes when connected which applies with transferring apps downloaded direct with your iPhone to your iTunes library or for installing an app on your iPhone downloaded with iTunes on your computer?

I need serious help D:! ok so i have succesfully synced music onto my ipod b4 but i wanted more songs so i was syncing music onto my ipod touch once again and once the sync was almost finished it said something about an error and then when i unplugged my ipod all of my songs that i had 1st put on my ipod were gone D:! after that my ipod stopped showing up on itunes on one of my computers so i switched to the other and it started doing the same thing. i came on here and was told it might be because itunes wasnt up to date so i updated itunes and my ipod but after the update, during the time when it was backing up software i think, another error popped up and said something about how the session had timed out, my internet connection is fine to so it wasnt that. after that another error popped up saying i needed to restore my ipod back to its factory settings and i said ok but another error always pops up saying the sesion timed out of something! now my ipod is like it was when i first got it! the screen shows the end of a usb cord pointed at the itunes sign! ive tried turning it off but it wont work! and when i try to hook it up to itunes on either off my computers it doesnt show up in itunes and a message from windows pops up and says "Found new hardware: Windows needs to install driver software for your apple mobile device (Recovery mode)" please help me i cant even do anything at all with my ipod right now! D:

The Internet provider might have too many people using the Internet than what the particular servers are setup for. Or your computer just needs to reset. Try restarting your computer. Also do a hard reset on the iPod. Hold the power button and wake button down until you see the apple logo come on. Let go. Then let the ipod finish bopting up . Then restore your iPod as a new iPod, NOT from the backup.

for whatever reason my itunes no longer works on my computer. my computer is kind of old, but is still high speed. i uninstalled the old itunes and downloaded the newest version, still doesnt work. everyyimr i try to go on a screen pops up saying "send error report" then another one saying that there is a run time error and the program is terminating in an unussual way. i have no idea what any of this means. please help.

wanted to be able to update with business news on thier own, and
have me do the major site updates. I was thinking they could do
this by me creating a blog on blogger for them and trying to figure
out a way insert the blog into the website I created. I want to put
into a specific spot on the website and the client wanted it to
scroll so that customers can see previous posts. I know alot of you
think that scrolling boxes kind of suck but for this purpose I
really think it would work really cool. Can you please help me. I
have very little knowledge of code. I am actually a video motion
graphics guy, and because of my knowledge of photoshop started to
move into web. So if you have to talk to me like an infant about
the code, please do. : ) Here is the wbsite I want to add it to:

All you have is a series of interchangeable images. You
really haven't built
a website. You have built an online PowerPoint show. There is
no text. Turn
off graphics in your browser and look at your site. Is that
what you want
some visitors to see?
The mistake is building a site in Image Ready. Build your
images there but
add your text in DreamWeaver.
Sorry, but were I you I would get a good book or two and
start over. Might
as well do it right than have a competent designer tell your
client you did
it wrong.

This suggestion worked to see the hidden folder(s). Thanks very much, but I feel like I am miles away from moving my ipod music to my new computer and getting it all to work. Here is why...
1. First when I plug the ipod in, in disk mode, to the USB slot it shows up as a K drive for a minute or so and then disappears. itunes keeps opening, asking me to sync (which will erase all my music on the ipod!) and the K drive (ipod) vanishes.
2. I pod help says to drag the itunes file out to the desktop and then drag the itunes file on the ipod into the "my music" file within documents and settings. However, there is an "ipod control" file (was hidden) and within this there is the following: artwork, itunes (with 13 subfolders of its own), device, and music. So do I just drag the itunes file inside ipod control into My music? Or do I drag the whole ipod control file? or other?
3. Additionally there are K drive (ipod) files for calendar, photos, contacts, notes, and ipod control (was hidden). I don't care about any content in the first four, but are they needed to operate? Do I drag these over also to the My music file?

What PSU is that and what are the ratings of that PSU ? See the label on the side.
Are you trying to use the onboard graphics?

Help! New HD not working!

My harddrive in my iBook G4 died a few months ago, and I finally was able to get a new, larger hard drive. I replaced it and when I tried to install Tiger on it, the HD didn't come up as a disk to install on...in fact, nothing did? Is there something that I did wrong? I followed the instructions that I found on ifixit.com, but I don't understand why it's not working... Please help me.
Also, in the process of taking my iBook apart and putting it back together I had to disable the trackpad but couldn't figure out how to enable it again. What do I have to do?

Startup from the disc and select Disk Utility from the menu (in the Installer menu if you have Panther). Click on the Erase tab, highlight the drive on the left, select Mac OS Extended (Journaled) as the file type from the drop down menu and click the Erase button. Once it's done launch the Installer and install the system and applications.

Please help! Ipod won't work with my itunes after plugged into MAC

Hi, I am brand new to my ipod and i plugged it into my PC to get it started, then i plugged it into a friends mac to get his songs- now when i plug it back into my computer it says it is linked to another itunes library and asks if i want to link it back to this one and replace all of the music. I do not want to loose all of the music but want it reconnected to my itunes with the music on my computer and taking the music on the ipod (from my friends itunes) into my itunes. What do i do? I apologize if this is something posted before,i couldn't find an answer. Please help!! thanks

That above article will not resolve the issue. It explaines it clearly in the article.
"Using an iPod formatted for Macintosh on a Windows computer is not supported. Using an iPod formatted for Windows on a Macintosh computer is not supported."
this means that it won't work with out a 3rd party tool. You HAVE to restore it if you take it between different OS. That document works only if your taking it between windows machines or all mac machines.

Sky Hub keeps disconnecting... please help? New customer...

Hello there, I am a new customer to Sky only joining last month, and my broadband hub keeps disconnecting. I use wifi which is normally good, but the last week or so, every day our hub shows an Orange face, which I know sometimes means it's updating, so I leave it for one hour or more, and it still does not show white and we cannot connect to wifi. We have to restart the modem everytime for it to work, and have to keep doing this every day now... please help? As i dont think we should have to keep restarting our hub everyday for it to work. If you want help then provide us with more information including your router statistics,the exact issue/issues your having along with what Sky have so far done to try to rectify them.

PLEASE HELP! iTunes store not working, network connection?

oh-my-gosh, i've been working with iTunes for the last few hours. i cannot figure out what is wrong with this. i've been trying to read the other posted messages but i don't understand what the problem is. every time i go to connect to the iTunes store on iTunes it says that 'iTunes could not connect to the iTunes store. make sure your network connection is active and try again later.' i've been waiting pretty patiently, with no results. i'm so frustrated. i can't sign in on iTunes or anything. i'm becoming soooo mad. i just got this for christmas and i'm ticked. someone please help me?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!? i'm desperate!

I know this is not much consolation, but please remember that it's Christmas with all those nice, new iPods, all the people who want to use their iTunes gift cards that Santa put in their stockings, etc. It's called the store servers are on overload & it's going to be tough making a connection the next couple of days. This happens every holiday season, so hang in there & keep trying.
