Please help. My wifi won't connect anymore
My wifi was working fine but now I get an exclamation ! At the end of any wifi address including my home one. It will not connect to any wifi including the cloud and keeps coming up asking for a Phobos.apple.com name and password which I don't have. Having to use 3G continually. I'm not very techy so I haven't changed any settings. Please advise in really easy to understand terms.
Restart your WiFi router and then your iPad.
To reset your iPad, simultaneously press and hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons until you see the Apple Logo. This can take up to 15 seconds so be patient and don't release the buttons until the logo appears.

Ive been going crazy trying to connect my 5800 via usb to my laptop (vista). When i connect via bluetooth its fine but usb simply wont install drivers. says that i am missing phone parent . i have tried everything i have read e.g unistalling everthing and using pc suite cleaner and then re installing pc suite 7.1, removing wdfo1000.sys file form system 32 folder and placing on desktop. Ovi suite wont connect either because of the driver problem. i am connecting in pc suite mode. i need the usb as bluetooth is too slow. please helpSorry, I do not have an answer, and because I do not know how to start a 'new topic' on the discussion board, I would like to ask my question here:
My ovi nokia suite takes aboutbtween 1 and 2 minutes to open, after I have clicked on it for the first time. My previous nokia suite (E70) opened immediately. Does anyone have the same 'problem', or is it just something I must get used to ?
ps. my PC is not the fastest, but it is not slow either, I have no problems opening other programs on my PC, therefore it must be something with ovi suite itself.
Any suggestions to open it quicker ?
ps. I know it is not a nokia question, but can anyone recommend any PC cleanup (anti-virus) programs ?

MY home wifi won't connect to my iPhone 4S. It connects to every other device besides my phone! I've tried everything from troubleshooting! It can't find the wifi and when I reset network connections it now won't even let me turn it on! Pleaseeeee someone help this Is driving me crazy!!!!!!!! Thanks!!!
Try erasing your network preferences again from settings-about-reset and erase or something like this and try reconnecting if the problem persists try changing the name and password of your router and if you it keeps not connecting you will have to try restoring your iphone through itunes on your PC.

After upgrading to iOs7, my wifi won't connect!!!
I did the most recent upgrade to iOs7, and now my wifi won't connect at my house. My two ipads, computer, and AppleTV all work perfectly, but my phone will not connect. I'm getting the error, "Unable to join the network (insert network name here)." I have tried to reboot my phone, as well as resetting the Network Settings. Please help!!!!
The new operating system seems to have an issue with apostrophes. At least when it comes to wi-fi.
Check out your device name. If it is called something like “Claire’s iPhone” it could be the apostrophe that is causing the problem.
To change your device name go to Settings > General > About > Name. Tap on the name to edit it and remove the apostrophe. Save the change. Switch off your phone and then switch it back on again.
Your wi-fi should be working. -
This is not working for me. I tried the Windows 7 Resolution steps multiple times to no avail. Please help. I am obviously connected to the internet (as is iTunes Store).
I am connected to the internet through a Verizon Wireless card, that is my regular internet connection.I did all that HT1925 recommended and it was no help. My computer still won't recognize my iPhone. Often trying to start Apple Mobile Device Service fails with an error message that it starts and then stops immediately.

Please help! I try to connect to the Internet but appears inscription There is no expansion of kernel PPP. Yesterday I used internet through the same connection- Dsl pppoe. Wi fi cannot connect too. On ipad and iphone it is work.
That's odd.
Try this: Unplug your Time Capsule and your router. On your MBP, click the Wi-Fi icon and select "Open Network Preferences".
Click the lock icon to authenticate, then click the "gear" and select "set service order". Wherever AirPort (or Wi-Fi - I forget what Snow Leopard calls it) appears, drag it elsewhere in the list. Click OK, then Apply, then power up your router and TC.
If that doesn't result in any change, repeat the above but try making the service(s) you do not need "inactive".
The purpose of this is to reset or at least change your Network Preferences, which somehow got confused upon upgrading to SL. -
I just downloaded the ios 6 on my iTouch 4th gen, and my email won't work, my wifi won't connect, my iPod is more sluggish, and honestly I'm really frustrated. Is there anything I can do?

- Reset the iPod. Nothing will be lost

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

My wifi won't connect please help!!
IOS 6 Wi-Fi connected just fine when I had it but then I upgraded to iOS 7, Wi-Fi worked just fine for two weeks then last week I tried connecting to Wi-Fi because I was billed $10 for data overage the Wi-Fi option slide button will not let me turn it on. I just got new data yesterday I get new data every month on the 13th I got a message this morning saying that I used 75% of my data. Any overage is $10. I can't keep paying $10 every time it goes over my data plan it's not my fault. I've tried many things people recommended but nothing is working. It won't connect can someone help me with this I've tried everything. I'm only 14 I can only do so much. Can anyone help?

My Ipad Mini will no longer connect to the wifi at work. It did when I first got it but now it just displays unable to connect. What gives? I work at a hospital and the wifi is not password protected and my mini connects fine at home. Please help!
Some of these won't apply to your situation.
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
• Launch Settings app

• In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Hello, i just bought my macbook pro. Its a Mac OS X ver. 10.5.7 with a 2.26GHz processor.
I have a Netgear 54mbps wireless router WGR614 v8 and a Motorola SB5100 SURFboard Cable modem.
Now the problem im having is with the internet connection with my mac. I live in Virginia and It was working before i went on vacation to tennessee which is an hour behind virginia. It was able to connect with no problems. It was also connecting fine in tennessee as well. But when i came back to Virginia, the mac would connect to my router or atleast say its connected but i can't use the internet at all. I would load either firefox, safari, or itunes store and the page would begin to load and then stop loading in the middle. As if it was freezing, dropping the connection or something. When i look through the airport connectivity, it would stay connected to my router with still no access to the internet. I also checked to make sure i was in the correct time zone with my mac and it was correct.I have a wii, xbox, original pc that are connected to router that operate perfectly. its just my macbook wont connect wirelessly when it used to before i went to tennesse and took it with me. Some of the error messages that i get when i try to use the internet via macbook now are "can't open page because the server unexpectedly dropped the connection" but then minutes later it would connect again, then internet would work. But shortly after it would stop working for a while. and the process continues like a cycle. PLEASE HELP BECAUSE IM CLUELESS. i've looked at many forums but no solution.I've been having the same problem for the last 2 weeks, because it's a macbook air it's completely useless!
I spent a tenner on a usb/ethernet cable but it's not Mac Compatable, to buy an official one is going to cost ...god knows. But this machine comes with no superdrive, no ethernet, no adapter for an ethernet. The least they can do is make sure the wifi works! I think I upgraded the OS, but I can't be sure if that coincided with the crap internet speeds.
I'm really angry now, I don't have the time to take it down to shop, and looking on the internet it appears this is really common problem. It's a beautiful machine, but if I knew it was going to be this much hassle I wouldn't have bothered. This is the first and last time I will buy a mac. -
PLEASE HELP! LIVE won't work in LOGIC anymore

This is my problem:
I happily worked on my MacBook Pro (2.33 GHz Tiger 10.4.11) for a long time, using Ableton LIVE as a ReWire slave to LOGIC and everything worked just fine.
I recently got myself a Mac Pro (2 x 3.2 GHz Quad-core 4 GB RAM) and on which Logic seems to be running fine by itself (as does LIVE), but as soon as I open any of my documents created on my laptop (files that were created in ReWire mode) there seems to be a latency issue, as in some of the tracks don't quite play on time and then when I quit LIVE it crashes and LOGIC crashes a couple of seconds after that too.
This happens also when I open an empty LOGIC file and start LIVE - again empty. A weird thing I noticed is that LIVE doesn't seem to crash when I quit, if I haven't pressed play. Only after playing something either in LOGIC or in LIVE do I get the crashes.
If anyone has got any suggestions for this I'd be SOO grateful - I've been searching the internet and forums all day and can't seem to find any answers for this weird problem ... Could it be something to do with Leopard?

The Connection Doctor in Mail should list your email accounts and whether it can access them.
Sounds like Mail has gotten confused about your .mac password. In Mail, go up to the menu bar Mail, go down to Preferences, select your .mac account and re-enter your password under "Incoming Mail Server".
You may also have to re-enter your password under "Outgoing Mail Server" also.
