Please help! Need to re-install earlier version of QT than 7.4.5

Hello and thanks to anyone who can help. Recently I updated to QT 7.4.5 but I did not realize it would disable a very important function of a program I use called Toon Boom. It's an animation software similar to Flash. When you update to QT 7.45 it disables the quick preview function of Toon Boom which slows down production greatly and makes the animation process very difficult. Toon Boom has been unable to work out a solution with Mac so I've been trying to uninstall 7.45 and/or reinstall and earlier version. I believe anything earlier that 7.3.1 would work, but it seems impossible to uninstall 7.4.5. Does anyone have a suggestion? I've been trying unsuccessfully for days and would really appreciate any help!

I know there are loads of questions on a similar theme but I am completely NOT technical and I find them really hard to follow. I use Windows 7 and until now I have had no problems with iTunes. I was bought a new iPod Nano and I couldn't use it until I had updated to the latest version of iTunes. When I tried to do this it wouldn't let me, I just got an error message. I have subsequently backed up my iTunes library, uninstalled iTunes and tried to install the latest version, I get the same error message:

I'm completely stuck now, can't even use my old iPod as I have no iTunes. I'm sure you're going to tell me to look in Windows Update - I did this but didn't have a clue what to do with that I found there! This is SO frustrating, I wish I'd just stuck with my old iPod.

Unfortunately, this sort of trouble has gotten more complicated to deal with ever since Microsoft pulled the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from their Download Center on June 25. First we have to find a copy of the utility.
Let's try Googling. (Best not to use Bing, I think.) Look for a working download site for at least version 3.0 of the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (The results from mydigitallife and Major Geeks are worth checking.)
After downloading the utility installer file (msicuu2.exe), scan the file for malware, just in case. (I use the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware to do single-file scans for that.)
If the file is clean, to install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you've downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Bonjour and QuickTime entries and click "Remove".
Quit out of CleanUp. Restart the PC, and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

The new version is horrible. The alternating blue/white/blue/white colors in address lines are making me dizzy and sick. Same thing is happening in SUBJECT line. I don't go to discos, and I don't want flashing, changing colors on my screen. It slows me up - I used to type first letters of a name as recipient, now I need to wait for the color to change or something.
Please send me the previous version, which was perfect.

You either download drivers from within Boot Camp Assistant and save to USB FAT disk, or you insert and use 10.6.x OS X DVD when in Windows and install and run the SETUP from there.

How do I install an earlier version of firefox than the download page recommends?

I have a new PC and need to be able to use the delicious bookmark add-on for work. I loaded firefox 4 and the bookmark doesn't work so I need to load an earlier version and can't figure out how....only see an option to install firefox 4.

If you check with Delicious they may be able to indicate when they will update their add-on for Firefox 4.
To downgrade to Firefox 3.6.* you can uninstall Firefox 4, but do not select the option to "Remove my Firefox personal data". If you select that option it will delete your bookmarks, passwords and other user data.
You can then install Firefox 3.6.* available from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html - it will automatically use your current bookmarks, passwords etc.
To avoid possible problems with downgrading, I recommend going to your profile folder and deleting the following files if they exist - extensions.cache, extensions.rdf, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite and localstore.rdf. Deleting these files will force Firefox to rebuild the list of installed extensions, checking their compatibility, and reset toolbar customizations.

The plugins folder in the Firefox installation folder doesn't exist by default. There is no default plugin in Firefox 4, so that folder would be empty and in thus not included. If you want to use that location then you need to create a plugins folder.
Did you try /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins ?

I don't know since I don't share anything. You'll have to peruse the help files and check the permissions and ACLs on the Shared folder. According to the permissions on the Shared folder everyone can R&W. If you want those to be inherited by everything dropped into the folder, add an ACL for

Albums are not places to store photos, they're more like "labels" you can apply to photos to better organize them. A single image file can be in multiple albums... they are not copies, it's simply been labelled as being in all those albums. So what you're trying to do doesn't make sense, because it's based on incorrect assumptions.
The iPhoto library will always show all photos that you have added to iPhoto.
