Please help! new update did strange things!
ok, so i just updated my itunes and iphone 4 to the latest software. now, i usually plug my phone in and then drag my music from my document to my itunes "music" under my device name. however when i tried to do this, nothing happened. it said "copy" like usual but nothing happened. i also noticed i have a bunch of play lists like "90s music" that i have never had before and i am unable to add cover art to song via "get info" i dont know whats going on
i have also tried deleting these playlists by clicking on them and then hitting the "delete key" but nothing happened!

The same thing is happening with my wife's iPhone 4 and we can't figure it out. When placing a call, the screen freezes and she needs to restart the entire phone.
She upgraded to 5.01 this morning over the air while it was plugged in. Immediately afterwards, this problem started happening. We've tried restarting the phone several times and plugged in to iTunes but there's nothing she can do do to fix it.

You can't. The iPhone 3G can only go as high as iOS 4.2.1. It hardware does not suport a higher iOS.

The strange thing is the procedure gets the ic:ICSText with the namespace value, which is http://www.courts.state.mn.us/CourtXML/2.0.0, so the finaly result is

OK, I did another test. I ran the same PL/SQL anonymous block that gets the correct element value in 10.2.0.3.0 and it gets the same wrong value: the element name plus the namespace value and the data itself. It gets the correct element value in 10.2.0.1.0 (my local database).
Could anyone help me with this?

Help needed because of strange things with Lollipop!
Hello everyone. I've updated to Lollipop 5.0.2 .... But some strange things are happening.
I've updated using PC companion. When I finished downloading the update files from the Net
,and I've turned off my phone so the update starts. After 1 minute something wrong went with my
computer. It restarts by itself. So my phone didn't boot anymore. I tried to reupdate it, but
that couldn't be done cause the phone is not booting. So I had one option, which is to do
a system repair to repair my phone. I did it and I succeed. So my phone is now updated to lollipop
, but of course all the data in the phone were wiped out. This is not a problem, I can redownload the apps I want.
The problem is that on Kitkat I used to play a game called ( plants vs zombies ) , but on Lollipop
Whenever I open the game it shuts down after half a minute. I thought the problem was
because I moved it to the SD card, so I moved it to the internal storage of my phone
but no change. It still shuts down by itself.
Another thing is that when I install an app, in normal state there are moving lines from the above
to show that the app is installing . Sometimes those lines disappear , I don't know if this is a problem or not.

Uhm I do not experience the problem anymore it was a long time ago, from where do you download your APK files? I used 1MobileMarket for the download of PvZ2 but I receive updates via Google PlayStore. The only thing I can suggest is that you uninstall it, try downloading it vis 1MobileMarket and see if it works. If not I really don't know what the problem is.. I had my problems with PvZ on the Z, not the Z2, but it was the same you are experiencing with the game. I did notice that whenever I did a factory reset or system repair, I'd lose all my PvZ gaming data although I had my Google Play Account logged it to sync my data. As for the lines while installing the app; If the apps work normal after installing (the lines still didn't show up or disappeared) I don't think it might be such a problem. As long as you can run the apps. Hope this helps!

Specs;
G5 power mac dual core (2.0)
Power pc 970 mp
Late 2005
I don't have an apple mouse/keyboard
I just use $40 wireless mouse keyboard.
Upon purchase everything seemed to work as it should....booted up, open and closing apps without freezing.
However I never had it connected to the Internet when I navigated through system.
I got it home and installed a 1 tb harddrive (WD mainstream desktop) from future shop. When I installed it in tower I had to buy a sata 2.0 cable as there was not one available for use. Booted up fine and installation went as my research said it should. Turned it on next day....
Tried to update iTunes and this is where it started actin up. First just froze had to turn off, second time wouldn't even boot up plus fans went into overdrive. Third forth fifth sixth boots fans sometimes kick in, now whenever I try to do any kind of action it freezes. (Only when I click something)
I read about possible power suppy issue, so I plugged tower and monitor into seperAte plugs,
They may however be in same circuit because they at in the same wall...would a power conditioner fix this?
Anyway still froze on any action tried...just opened disk drive...opened then frooze...?
Anybody have any ideas??

I ended up taking it in to geeksquad at best buy, they had it for 3 days and also told me after the fact that neither of the techs working on it knew much about macs :-( needless to say I requested my
Money back due to the fact that the service I paid for could not be completed and literally couldn't tell me anything more than what's below.
They told me that they could not dock it with thier diagnostic machine, kept restarting on them and the one fella said it was overheating but had no idea why. When I brought it home again I tried it once more computer boots up to desktop as usual, this time had a asterisk window saying " the computer was restarted after mac OSX quit unexpectedly" however my cursor was again locked in the top left of the screen. Would not move, so I could not view the report, shortly after fans kicked into overdrive. I'm losing hope for this machine rapidly. I'm all ears when it comes to anything I may be able to do.
Should I try an actual apple keyboard/mouse just to eliminate that possible?
If you have ideas AWSOME, If not, no worries, ill take it into the mac store and see what they say
P.s the machine is clean inside little to no dust and the tech said he was going to clean it out, hard to tell if he did because it was clean clean before I brought it to him.

Please Help - LR update wipes out my catalog.
This seems an uncommon problem as I haven't found any other posts on it, but I'm having the issue that LR updates wipe out my catalog?! I've had LR4 for a couple years now. When the 4.4 update first came along awhile back, I accepted the download, and when I did so, to my horror my entire catalog was wiped out. I did a restore point (thus undoing the update) hoping that would restore the catalog, but it did not. I of course still had all of the files and side cars on my hard drive, but had to re-launch my most recent back up which had been a few weeks previous (I know, I know), and lost the history on the work I'd done on images after that.
Just now, when I launched LR, the update notice appeared. I did not accept the update as I felt is was a risk, and instead closed the box. Even so, my catalog was wiped out AGAIN.
My last back up was less than a week ago, but I'd done a lot of work on some images since then. While I know I can re-import the images themselves, I do not know if -- or HOW - I can re-import the side cars with the editing history (which I can see on my hard drive) back into Lightroom?!! Please help if you can. Thanks so much in advance.Jim, appreciate the reply. What I did after this happened was go to my most recent back up which was five days earlier, and I launched that. I then re-imported the files that had been imported post back up, some of which had been edited. As I'd replied to dj paige, the edits I'd done post-back up were there on the re-imported images, however unfortunately the history on them has been wiped out - or at least it no longer shows up in the catalog. But If I'm understanding you, I should have been able to locate the catalog as it was just before the update? Because I did not see a catalog more recent than what was in the back up folder and dated Sept 1st. Obviously I don't have a clear understanding of how this all works, so will have to do some studying up.

so yesterday I went to the Apple store (yeah, again) and they said that iOs 6.1.2 made the wifi chip overheat and that iOs 6.1.3 was supposed to fix this wifi problem (but once your wifi option has grayed out your phone has to be changed)... So they gave me a new phone and I've no problem so far. The wifi works very well, as before! -
Please help -installed update from itunes wiped my phone
I just installed an update on itunes and it must have done some sort of factory reset as it wiped everything including my contacts from my phone. I plugged it in again to see if it could install a back up and I can't find anything. Also, it started 'backing up' the new empty phone and asked me to register it.
Please help anyone- I had a lot of music and expensive aps on there not to mention contacts and diary entries. I never had problems with it before but this is an absolute nightmare.
