Please help! Nokia 5530 just displays "call" when ...
OK guy, yes i have searched the forum but noone has asked this for this specific model and for other models noone seems to have a definate answer as to how to solve the problem.
. My display shows "call" rather than the contacts name when a call comes thru
. Text messages display the contacts name perfectly
. I have no double entries ie "emergency" as 12345 and "John" as 12345 which wouldnt solve the problem because text messages display the name
. All my contacts are saved to phone memory and none are on sim card
. There was some bug/issue causing messages not to come thru in itially but that was resolved by (i cant quite remember, perhaps deleting the sim - but whatever it was worked)
So anyone resolved the issue for the 5530? Its driving me insane, and i'm blonde so cant think of another way

Well a lot of different prefixes are in my contacts. ie for landlines just the regular prefix you'd use from a differen part of the country, some international contacts like +17whatever for the states or +44 for UK and some Irish contacts with mobile prefix 087,086 or +35387 if somebody i hadnt stored messaged me ....
Its weird because EVERY contact name displays on receiving a text message

If the contact is ID'ed correctly with incoming calls but not with incoming messages, I reckon it's more of a problem induced by operator branding. If it were down to duplicate contacts, the phone would not be able to ID incoming calls either.
Mind you, I'm assuming that caller ID works for calls since you only said that it didn't for messages. If it messes up calls as well then jimmyireland is probably right.

Can someone please help? Recently just had my iPhone 4S reconnected. I've now waited the 24 hours that you need to wait till everything goes back to normal. However on a phone call I can hear whoever I'm calling but they can't hear me?
i had the same problem a few weeks ago and i had only had my 3g iphone for a few weeks. It was as if i was on permanent mute. I could hear others fine, but they couldn't hear me, even if i used speakerphone or even a bluetooth.
i took it to an apple store and they did a real quick test (they first did a system restore, then they took my phone and tried calling another employee). Once they validated it wasn't working, they replaced my phone quickly with no questions asked. Just make sure to back up everything on I-Tunes before you go in so that you dont lose any info. might want to do the restore before you go in, as well, otherwise you'll have to wait for them to do it at the store, which takes them 15 mins or so.

This also happened to me once, I even hard reset it and nothing happened. Turned out to be that the battery died suddenly.

Please help! I just sync my notes to icloud of my ipad mini but after that all notes has been covered by iphone's and all notes are missing from iPad,how could i restore it?
It's very possible that you did just as you suspect. One of the later Note file over wrote the one stored on your iPad when you synced.
When one does a sync of their iPad a backup of the iPad is created first. If that backup was still available you might be able to find the Note file there. But more than likely, if you are letting the iPad and iPhones sync on their own over Wi-Fi you have over written that back up as well. -
Please help-I was just informed I cant activate my CS software through Adobe?!!! What a pisser-I lost my desktop to a virus, I got a new one and refuse to ever go online with it. I put @Photoshop in, it wants an authorization code that Adobe says "CS is too old so please go to our forum for help"... So I am here Ladies and Gentlemen. I really need help on how to reactivate my software and without the use of the internet (last time I tried online, ended up doing over the phone which is no longer offered...) that cost me several hundred to begin with-I am upset @Adobe won't activate it-why? I don't know. But please, if someone out there knows what I can do to overcome this, I would be very grateful. Thank you for all help and taking the time to reply.

See if any of the following fix it.
Try logging out of your account on your phone by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and tap 'Sign Out' on the popup and then log back in.
If that doesn't fix it then try closing the iTunes store app via the phone's multitasking bar and see if it works properly when you open the app : double-click the home button to open the taskbar and then swipe or drag iTunes from there up and off the top of the screen to close it, and the click the home button to close the taskbar.
A third thing to try is a soft-reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the equivalent of a reboot. -

Last Resort, put the iPhone in DFU mode (Google How to do that). Connect in iTunes. Follow on-screen prompts to Restore. All Data would be lost, if not backed up earlier.
To save the photographs you may have to use third party software. Google is your friend. -

You can have a Gmail account and still set your iPhone to check at certain times and you will receive your mail.
As far as the "fix".. There is nothing to fix.. You're the one that would need to call at&t to "temporarily disable" your data while traveling out of the country. Unless, you call them to set you up on an International Rate for a monthly fee while you're away! -

If you set up the Find My iPad service in the Settings prior to the iPad going missing, then there is a chance that can be tracked, wiped of its data or locked (which does the same thing as activating the screen lock), though it depends on a number of factors: the iPad is turned on, is connected to a WiFi or 3G network, and has not had the Find My iPad service turned off or the iPad completely restored. Log into icloud.com and go to the Find My iPhone section.
If you did not set up Find My iPad, then there is no way to track it. Report the loss the police and change any passwords for any online accounts you may have used from your iPad (the iTunes Store, for instance).

First, remove Comodo. You don't need it, and it sounds like it is causing a problem.
The other symptoms sound like you have adware installed. Comodo might have detected some components of that adware, or it might not have, but whatever the case, you should NEVER allow any anti-virus software to quarantine or delete files from your computer. See: How to remove infected files.
