PLEASE HELP - Nokia x6 - Turns on but only black s...

Last night I put my phone on charge and it was working fine, when I woke this morning the white light was flashing, so I unlocked my phone, yet nothing came up on the screen.... So I took my battery out and put it back in, turned it back on and only the green, white and red light comes on, there's no nokia logo or any sort of life in the screen. I tried charging it, plugging in the USB, still no avail. ANY HELP????????

Looks like you have no option but to hard reset.
To hard reset, press and hold the green call button + red end call button and the camera capture button, then turn on the phone using the power button while holdling the other buttons until you see the Nokia handshake.
Nota that you will lose all your data in your phone unless you already have a backup of your phone.

Yes, as long as you dont see any "white" light reveal from LCD bezel back side while with blank screen state. LCD bezel is the cover around LCD, most design put LED modeule at the bottom side next to LCD. While back light is not on during boot up sequence, that means system doesnt have chance to get BIOS program running. It also means, it stuck at state of hardware bring up. Normally motherboard related.
I quickly checked hp.com and found some link that may help. Or 1-800-HP invent (1-800-474-6836) can save times. This forum only intends to quick/simply reply users questions. About another service and repair charge, I have to give you other links to reach.

I'm sorry to learn that your phone is having problems starting up, marinema08. I'm sorry if this is incorrect, but are you using the original HTC Droid Incredible or a later Droid Incredible model? Please try placing your phone in Safe Mode to see if you are able to move past the Droid eye. http://vz.to/1kdQWVI If you are able to enable Safe Mode, please try deleting any recent applications you have added.

Install Mavericks, Lion/Mountain Lion Using Internet Recovery
Be sure you backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive because the following procedure will remove everything from the hard drive.
Boot to the Internet Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND-OPTION- R keys until a globe appears on the screen. Wait patiently - 15-20 minutes - until the Recovery main menu appears.
Partition and Format the hard drive:
1. Select Disk Utility from the main menu and click on the Continue button.
2. After DU loads select your newly installed hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed. Quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion. Mavericks: Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion, Mavericks and click on the Install button. Be sure to select the correct drive to use if you have more than one.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet
            if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.
This should restore the version of OS X originally pre-installed on the computer.
If your computer did not come with Lion or later pre-installed then do the following:
Clean Install of Snow Leopard
Be sure to make a backup first because the following procedure will erase
the drive and everything on it.
     1. Boot the computer using the Snow Leopard Installer Disc or the Disc 1 that came
         with your computer. Insert the disc into the optical drive and restart the computer.
         After the chime press and hold down the "C" key. Release the key when you see
         a small spinning gear appear below the dark gray Apple logo.
     2. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue
         button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu.
         After DU loads select the hard drive entry from the left side list (mfgr.'s ID and drive
         size.) Click on the Partition tab in the DU main window. Set the number of

         username and password that you used on your old drive. After you finish Setup
         Assistant will complete the installation after which you will be running a fresh
         install of OS X. You can now begin the update process by opening Software
         Update and installing all recommended updates to bring your installation current.
Download and install Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1.

That would tend to indicate a permissions issues on the computer.
Running an outdated version of iTunes is of absolutely no benefit.
All iDevices work with the current version of iTunes.

I have no idea what happened to my Apple. Someone please help me. My powerbook currently is running on no battery (recall victim) and now the entire computer is no longer functioning at all. I installed iTunes 7.0 and then the trouble began. I had to restart the computer, so I did that and then the computer just wont boot up. It goes to the grey screen which shows the Apple symbol and occurs right before my log in then just continues to read. The green light for the battery is function and nothing at all is working. The computer simply will not boot up, I have tried unplugging it for the night and then rebooting it and nothing. Please someone help, what has went wrong?

You mentioned in your other thread that you had trouble with a cpu(0) hardware error trying to use the hardware test disk. Is this the hardware test disk which came with that particular machine? If not, then you need to find the original hardware test disk that came with that machine. If the restore disks that say 12" Powerbook include the words hardware test, use those instead and follow these directions:

If you are using the correct hardware test disk and you get a cpu(0) error using it, then the machine has a hardware problem.

I haven't encountered this tuzz. Can you tell me what's the operating system of your computer? My N86 8MP says it's Phone Memory. Even if I have builtin 8GB, but it's labeled as mass memory aside from my micro SD card.
What I can suggest is don't select PC suite instead choose the mass memory option when you connecting your phone to your computer using the Nokia PC Suite. Let me know if you encounter the same problem for the C: drive.

HP Envy Desktop turns on but only fans spin rapidly.

My HP Envy desktop is less than two months old. Two days ago I was working with it and left it on and today when I decided to use it again it wouldn't come back from sleep mode. Mouse, keyboard, monitor wouldn't work. I tried holding down the power button and it wouldn't turn off. I decided to unplug the power cord and when I plugged it in and turned it on only the LEDs and Fans worked and they spun fast. I noticed the LED that lets me know the hard drive was working wasn't on also. I tried again to turn off the desktop by pressing the power button but it doesn't work. Only way to turn it off is by unplugging the cord. The green light on power supply is on and steady. I reseated the memory modules and I tried the 30sec power button trick and that didn't help. I don't hear any beep sounds and I don't know where I can find trouble shooting lights.
I have no idea what to do.

I would suggest to perform a complete recovery on the PC..
Turn on the desktop and tap the F11 continuously until the PC asks to select the keyboard layout.
Then follow the on screen instructions.
The PC is not at all booting up, try and hold down the power button for 30 secs with all the cables unplugged from the PC.
Then turn on the desktop and perform a recovery on the desktop.
Reply if this does not fix the problem or for any issues.

i updated my nokia n8 from anna to belle refresh (i know too late) and after restarting the phone and finishing the update the phone keeps freezing and restarting. when i take the sim card out it works, but when i put it back it keeps freezing and restarting. i tried hard reset (3 buttons) and the resetted the phone but it still freezes and restarts often... i took it to nokia care and they said they will not fix it for me because i bought it from outside the country and doesnt have any warranty in here, i told them iam willing to pay but they insisted they will not fix it because i bought it from outside (i live in jordan and i bought this phone from dubai)
any suggestions? please?

Someone please help I have tried to update my phone but now it wont turn on. It has the little green man and says 'installing system update' all it does is get to 100% vibrate, turn off then come back on again with 'recovery booting' in the top left corner then it goes back to the little green man

for the devices to find each other via Bluetooth you would need to turn on the iPhones cellular hotspot and then let them search for each other. As far as I have found this Bluetooth connection is only for connecting the iPad to internet via iPhones data plan.
To transfer photos you could setup a new photo stream and put the photos you want transferred in it. When it syncs to the iPad you can save directly to the camera roll and delete the photo stream. You may also be able to delete the photos old photos and re-add them to photo stream so it looks like they are new to the iPad.
