PLEASE HELP! Pages Quitting When Opening

Pages keeps quitting when I am trying to open a document I have been working on for 3 days! Not sure why. I can't get it open anymore. PLEASE HELP!
I am happy to provide the file if someone can help me.
I have updated my software and also validated my fonts (these are things that I have researched to see if it would work- but didn't)
I am really stressing as I need this document tomorrow
I was even saving the file 3 different names as backups and none will open, yet when I go to open any other files they opens fine.
It happened when Pages just quit unexpectly and then I couldn't re-open the file again. ARRRRHHHHH!
PLEASE HELP!

Have you inserted lots of large (Mb) images?
Keep these as small in both dimensions and resolution as possible.
Also keep the amount of effects like shadows, reflections transparency, charts etc low in both the interests of good taste, legibility and speed.

Pages quits when opening large file

I spent the day creating (and saving) a large document in Pages... about 105 pages, each with up to six images. It's 732MB in size... and when I try to open it, Pages quits after several minutes of trying to open the file and the error I get is "Insufficient memory to allocate pixel data buffer". My machine has 8GB RAM, and no other apps (except the Finder) are running... Scratch disk was purged, caches were cleared, preferences trashed and I still get "Insufficient memory to allocate pixel data buffer" error.

Apples "professional" applications used to come in at a price point in the $300 range. Some have come down recently, but not to the 'consumer' product level occupied by Pages. With Pages selling at $20, I highly doubt Apple is aiming for the "professional" market with this product.

HELP - Pages crashing when opening File

Hi,
Pages keeps crashing and quitting completely when I open a 163 mg file. It is a file full of illustrations taken directly from Albums in iPhoto. The file is still in the process of being build.
Other larger files made this way continue to open without difficulty. And Pages seems to be behaving okay with them.
The photos in the document are a collection of black and white illustrations that were in TIFF format when imported into iPhoto.
Anyone have any idea how to salvage this document? It's gunna hurt to lose it.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

Please, run the DirectX diagnostics tool. Go to Windows Start and in the Run box type dxdiag.exe and press the OK button. This will start the DirectX diagnostics program. Run this diagnostics and save the results to a file. Please, attach this file to your post. Be aware that you will have to zip this file before attaching it here.

Pages quits when opening an old file

I just purchased a new Mac Pro and transferred all of my old files from my MacG5. I purchased a new copy of iWorks 06 (Universal). When I opened an old file from Pages (PPC), Pages (Universal) would quit on me. I tried to open an old Keynote file, and Keynote (Universal) would also quit on me. Basically, I am unable to open any of my old Pages or Keynote files that were created with my older Mac G5. Any ideas what's going on here?

I'd suggest first going into the /Library/Preferences folder (the one at the root of your hard drive) and deleting any preference files associated with iWork -- these will be of the form "com.apple.iWork/iWork06/Pages/Keynote.plist". Once this is done, I would re-install iWork '06, and see if the problems is solved.

CS2 Help Center quits when opened in Illustrator

I had to reinstall Illustrator CS2 (v12.1) today and found that after installing, my CS2 Help Center did not work. The window appears, then quits suddenly. I tried moving the Prefs and .plist for it to the desktop, but it did not help. It also does not work when launched from other CS2 apps, like Photoshop.
Using Mac v10.4. Font utility is Font Explorer.

You could try first flattenening the fields. This converts the field appearances to regular page contents. You can do this with JavaScript, PDF Optimizer, or a Preflight fixup.

about two days ago i tried to log onto microsoft messenger but when it was logging in it quit and came up with an error message and asking to send a report to apple. I also tried to log on to msn with aMSN and the same thing happened. then later that day when i open certian safari web pages (it normally happens on myspace) it just quits halfway through opening a page. now when ever i open safari it tries to load the homepage but quits.
and now it seems lots of my programs are quitting randomly. Now it quits when opening iMovie, when i try and run iWeb it says it cant find my web pages i have made and then quits, dashboard widgets dont load and then hang, even the help viewer crashes as soon as i open it. and to top it all off the paim rest area of my macbook is starting to stain.
anyway so far i have verified the macintosh HD and it says its fine. but when i try to verify or repair disk permissions it says there is an error and has to quit. I have also done the hardware test and its all fine.
i have tried putting the install disk 1 that came with the macbook in and booting from it by pressing c. what is supposed to happen because it seems to be booting normaly. it just goes to the regular desktop and when i try to repair the disk with disk utility it wont let me so maybe it hasnt booted from the disk properly
oh and the only thing i have done recently is downloading itunes 7 before i got these problems. and software update says im up to date. i tried uninstalling itunes but it still had those problems
anyway please help me because my 90 days support runs out in 20 days. and i dont like using this windows computer

Whenever I select Word Microsoft Setup Assistant appears, asks for feedback, then after selecting okay (both on saying yes or no to feedback) goes on to a registration page. When I click on this it says I've already registered so I just click okay, and then move on to a update page. After this, if I click on Word, the process repeats itself.
As I said, I don't have the disk to reinstall, and can't find the Office Settings to delete as many pages have suggested I should try. Safe Boot restarting also hasn't worked... Really stuck and need Word very soon for work.
If you can help, that would be great, and feel free to ask any questions about the situation as I'm not an expert here.

First, export your contact from iCloud.com and save them on your computer in a safe spot some where (like you desktop). Use this to help you do this: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH3606
Next, on both of your devices, go to Settings > iCloud and turn on contacts and select Merge. Then turn off contacts and select 'Delete form my [device]' when prompted.
Now go back to iCloud.com and select a contact (yes they will all be messed up again) and select Command+A on a Mac or Control+A on a PC to select all of the contacts. Tap the delete key on your keyboard (or right click /control click a contact and select delete).
You iPhone, iPad and iCloud.com should not be empty for contacts.
Go back to Settings > iCloud on both devices and turn on contacts again (you should not see merge this time).
Next, go back to iCloud.com and import your contacts (those exported .vcards). You can either drag and drop them into the empty contacts list in your web browser, or you can use the gear icon to import.
You cleaned up contacts should import correctly into iCloud.com and sync to both of your devices.

Antivirus has a tendency to freeze iTunes sync Operation with iPod Classic, causing a timeout, which corrupt your iPod filesystem, so when iTunes can't read the iPod, it is pointing to this problem. Other causes is when your iPod hardisk is dying, or your battery is dying causing hardisk crashes.
My suggestion.
Connect your iPod to the PC and run chkdsk, to fix any iPod diskerror, then disconnect it, after chkdsk complete.
Disconnect your PC from Internet. (just to make sure no nasties creep into your system while you syncing.
Stop the Antivirus program
Connect your Ipod to the PC
When iTunes Open up, Restore your iPod please, this is for iTunes to map correctly, to fix the corrupted filesystem.
When Restore complete, eject the iPod and reconnect again.
Sync your ipod, preferably manually Manage in small batches and disconnect after every batch, to check that all is well, since you got such a huge library.
When all sync is complete, and iPod disconnected, start back your Antivirus and connect back the Internet.
If this doesn't resolve your problem, then let me know.

If the screen is not showing anyting when you press any of the buttons you may want to try these steps.

Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIs and corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 15 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.

Try this:
Make sure IOS is updated to latest version
Reboot device by pressing both the home button and sleep/wake (power) buttons at the same time for 10-15 seconds until the apple logo appears on the screen, then let go.
If that doesn't work then reset the device by going to settings/general/reset/reset all settings

Restore as New (no backup)... then Re-Sync your Content.

Dreamweaver CS3 has begun suddenly quitting when opening some .aspx files - not all, just some. Other .aspx files open just fine. In most cases these files are virtually identical in every way from one to the next and still, one will open and the other will cause DW to crash. This problem just started about a week ago.
I have been running DWCS3 on the same Vista Ultimate machine for over 2 years now with Service Pack2 installed. Apart from these few .aspx files, the program is running as it always has... perfectly. Nothing has changed on the machine, nothing new is installed, and, as far as I know, no Windows updates have come through from MS.
I have tried bringing the files down from the remote server to see if my local copies were somehow corrupt but... same thing.
Any thoughts?

Try this:
