PLEASE HELP! Podcast changed feed

Some time early last week, my website hiccupped and my podcast feeds got redirected. It was a problem that got fixed, but now my three podcasts in itunes are all still redirected to alternate (non podcast) feeds. The correction happened quickly, but the podcasts have not shifted back.
If i knew what feed they were directing to, i could redirect them back to the correct ones, but I don't.

The problem with doing any major change is we have thousands of subscribers to our podcast, and to make a big change would lose all of them. Clearly the ratings and reviews are still attached.
How can i fix this?

Attempting to subscribe to this in iTunes produces the error that it requires authorisation. Looking at it in a browser shows that it's a feed but not a podcast feed; in that case I wasn't asked for authorisation so I don't know why iTunes is saying it is (though when I attempted to download it from the link here I was told I wasn't authorised to access it, so it's all a bit odd).
Your best bet is going to be to email Support at pocasts 'at' apple.com; give them the iTunes Store URL and ask them to change it to using the correct feed. I don't think you're going to be able to do it yourself by the usual methods in the circumstances.
If you like to post the URL of the correct feed I will check that it isn't harbouring any problems as far as possible.

Not true. The music and pic sync is one way - computer to iphone. The only exception is itunes purchases. Without syncing: File>Transfer Purchases
You really should transfer everything from the old computer, or your backup copy of your computer. Since you do not have access to the old computer, then use your backup copy of the old computer.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup copy of your computer ( not good), then you would have to transfer itunes purchased as described earlier. Any other itunes content would be lost.
You can e-mail photo library pics to yourself, but they will not be of the original quality.
Before syncing, enter at least one unique contact and calendar entry on the computer. When you first sync, then you should get the option to merge the data.

1. With System Prefernces closed, locate the file;
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.systempreferences.plist
and trash it.

Please help, podcast rejected

Our podcast was approved and running for 3 weeks, 4 episodes, and we just received an email saying we were rejected. Not sure why this is, our feed validates fine.

I'm afraid I can't offer any suggestions. I wondered whether the fact that the latest episode is in effect an advertisement for a paid-for service might be an issue, but apparently this is permmitted - see

which also lists likely reasons for rejection, none of which would seem to apply here. There appears to be no technical problem. You could try contacting them:

If the old ID ("email address") is yours, and if your current ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID), go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. I'm sorry you're having issues with your e-mail account on your phone Rusty1112. Let's figure out what's going on. First, please try deleting account/information again and then restart phone. When phone is back on, try adding e-mail account again, and be sure you're entering exactly as you set up, meaning its case-sensitive. If you're still getting same error, please let us know and let us know what e-mail account it is, Yahoo, AOL, MSN, etc.

Didn't the link to contact the iTunes Store staff in the 'Additional Information' section of that article work for you? If you didn't previously set up a valid rescue email address, only Apple itself can assist with recovering lost answers.

What "FTP server device" are you talking about?
Also, Lion doesn't have an installation disk. Reboot holding down cmd-R to get to the recovery partition. Go to the Utilities menu, then Terminal. Type
resetpassword
And follow the prompts.

i have had my free hotmail account configured to my iphone4 for months, working perfectly. i then changed my password on my laptop and then input the new password in my mail settings on my iphone4.but it will not allow me to access my hotmail account via the mail icon.

Podcast changed feed, split in iTunes

Ok... I was hosting my podcast (the jason fitz show) on wordpress and recently changed over to Squarespace. Now, squarespace and Itunes are talking, but it's sending the episodes stored on squarespace to a different podcast on Itunes. Both are called The Jason Fitz Show, but one contains my old episodes and one contains the new. Is there an easy way to consolidate so I don't lose subscribers on my old show?

Instead of adding the 'itunes:new-feed-url' redirection tag to redirect the old feed to the new feed, you submitted the latter as a new podcast with a different title, using a feed with only the recent episodes. If you want the older episodes there you will have to add them manually; you need to make sure that they have the original 'pubDate' tags or they will appear out of order.
The older podcast will disappear eventually from the Store as the feed is no longer available, or you could request to have it removed as explained here:

I am trying to find out a way to change my new sony dsc-h70 camera from "no name" to it's proper name in iphoto. I've googled it, but cannot find any information other than you can change the name in Finder. I cannot figure out how to do this and have been working on it for half an hour in Finder with no luck. Everything works the way it is supposed to, photo's import, etc., I'd just really like to change the name. Can someone please send me step by step instructions? Thanks

Take the memory card out of the camer and put it in a card reader. When it mounts on the desktop select it and try to change the name. However, that might make it incompatible with the camera. You'll just have to try and see.

When a router is in 802.11b/g, you can use electronics that to connect to the router regardless if they use the b or g protocol. My router's wireless(which is set to both b and g) can be connected by my daughter's machine(that uses b) and mine and my wife's(which use g).
So, the short answer is yes, it should have no problem.
