Please Help! - Revel reset my account and deleted my photos.
Revel told me I needed to re-sign in for security purposes. It also told me to re-click the link in the email I received when I started Revel a couple months ago. I did both. Revel then reset my account and deleted my photos. My libraries are empty. How can I get back to where I was last week? thanks!
You uploaded files directly to Revel from your computer, right? (not to Elements organizer?) Were you logged in on one account and then when logged in again, did you use another adobeid (email)?
Do you have more than one email that I can check? Revel does not delete your photos unless you specifically ask to delete them. My best guess is that somehow you were logged in on one account (email) and then when you logged in that you ended up in a different account. I'm happy to check any accounts for you.

In August, I set up and tried using Revel in conjunction with Photoshop Elements 12 on my iMac, iPad, and iPhone. I now regret doing so and am totally dissatisfied with the functionality of Revel. I was not able to get mobile albums successfully set up via Photoshop Elements 12 so I could share with others, which I thought would be one of the nice features. Revel also put duplicates of all my photos back on my computer in a separate folder. While I started out with over 30,000 photos on my computer, I soon realized my catalog now had well over 60,000 photos. I got so fed up that I have deleted Revel from my iMac and other devices and have disabled Revel in the Photoshop Elements 12 Organizer so that it won't operate anymore. I also deleted the 30,000 duplicate photos from my computer.
I still presumably have, however, over 30,000 photos in the Revel Cloud that I want deleted. I also unfortunately signed up for a one year Revel subscription which I can't figure out how to cancel, although I luckily did not sign up for automatic renewal. I assume Adobe will hold on to my money and that I may be stuck with the $63.59 including sales tax that I paid for it. How can I get my Revel account closed, the photos deleted from the cloud, and my $63.59 refunded?Just stop using it, and uninstall the iCloud control panel in exactly the same way as you would any other software.

Guest Account Bug Resets User Accounts and Deletes Files on Snow Leopard

Well basically, I hadn't used my Guest Account since upgrading to snow leopard, and I accidentaly clicked it instead of my user account this morning, to find that when I logged into my normal account ALL my files, settings, mail etc had been reset.
So I'm posting this to let people know, (and hopefully Apple if they don't know about this) what's happening.

Well basically, I upgraded to snow leopard recently, everything was working fine, I've upgraded to 10.6.1 and have all the latest software updates etc, so anyway this morning I turned my computer on and accidentaly clicked on the Guest Account on the login screen instead of my normal one, so it started trying to load the guest account (which I hadn't loaded since before the upgrade).
So I wait about two minutes, and nothing atall happens apart from it loading on the logon page, so I pressed Enter to return me to the login window.
So once I was returned I logged on as my normal user, to find my Desktop reset, my Dock reset, my Documents, Music and Photos reset and all my software reset.
So I restarted my computer and logged on again, it was exactly the same, everything gone. At which point I looked in the Users folder to find that my User profile had been removed and replaced with a fresh one with the same name. So I then spent half an hour restoring everything from my Time Machine backup.
I hope Apple are aware of this issue and would greatly appreciate to hear back on the status of what's happening about it, as it doesn't seem to be an isolated issue it's been happening to other people over the last month.

To clarify, I have an iMac (aluminium 20" one), with a 2.4ghz processor and 3GB of Ram, please update me on anything that's going on with this issue as I don't want it to continue happening to others who might not have backups,

So if anybody else expieriences this issue your not alone, there's a couple of other posts from people who've had problems above in the middle of my feedback letter. Unfortunately in my case it deleted my Home folder and replaced it with a new one, so if this happens to you then your only option is to restore from a backup. You can attempt to use file recovery software if you don't have one, but I haven't tried this and don't know how well it would work.

In *system preferences* I allowed guest login, then I fast switched to *Guest Account*, do some changes in profile like mouse movement and so on, then I correctly logged out and logged once more to my account. Now I affraid off rebooting macbook (I always hybernate system with changed default settings which store memory into HDD) until the fix will be released. Probably the data was not removed, because I was logged in as me and */Users/$USER* was still in use. Now I am wondering if I can reboot safelly macbook without losing my data..
For backup do I need to use some command for backuping home to windows machine through *SMB*? because unix like systems have links and so on.. (in *AIX OS* I have to use "*rsync*" command, which copy whole data exactly as it is stored on filesystem - if there is link it will copy only that link, not file which is linked...) -

You may need to update your MacBook Air with your new Apple ID password.
OS X Mountain Lion and later: Open the Messages app, select Messages > Preferences, then click the Accounts icon.
If you signed out before changing your Apple ID password, click Accounts and enter your current Apple ID to sign in.
If you're still signed in with your previous Apple ID password, click Accounts, then select your previous Apple ID from the list of accounts. Click Sign Out, then click Sign Out again when asked to confirm. Enter your current Apple ID to sign in.

So the answer to my question is yes - from an old Exchange account that was provided by a previous employer.
If so, you can't.
You can't merge or transfer contacts that were synced over the air with an Exchange account with another account, and the same for syncing the contacts direct with a supported address book app on your computer. This is how most employers want it. -

It was never free for the 3GS.
It is if the initial sign-up is done on an iPhone 4, iPad or iPod touch 4th gen.

Please help me....I deleted a song on my itunes and then proceeded to sync my iphone. Itunes reflects that I deleted the song, but my the song still shows up on my iphone....it NEVER deletes. What do I do?

Forgive me for not fully understanding your question at first. I understand that you wish to actually delete the song from your iPhone, which is definitely possible, and I'd love to show you how.
Here is an excerpt from page 61 of the iPhone User Guide (for iOS 6.1 software)
So, in summary: Open the Music app, proceed to "Songs" view. Find the specific song, swipe either direction, and a delete button will appear.

Blank screen in itunes store-please help im not very technical and when i click on my itunes app the screen is blank how can i fix this please?
See if any of the following fix it.
Try logging out of your account on your phone by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and tap 'Sign Out' on the popup and then log back in.
If that doesn't fix it then try closing the iTunes store app via the phone's multitasking bar and see if it works properly when you open the app : double-click the home button to open the taskbar and then swipe or drag iTunes from there up and off the top of the screen to close it, and the click the home button to close the taskbar.
A third thing to try is a soft-reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the equivalent of a reboot. -

The reset link, as described in steps 1 to 5 on this page, will only show if you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account. If you don't have one then go to (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you won't get the reset option - you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

If drop use the following statement to generate the script:

But before firing the above statement extract the DDL's to create all the users and put it in a file and just run that file to re-create the users.
