PLEASE help... some songs wont import or play on itunes?

So i downloaded like 40 songs they are all the same bit rate and all MP3s... i downloaded them as a full CD... but out of the 40 only 30 will play and import... they all will play on windows media player and other players so there is nothing wrong with the songs, but they will not play or import into itunes...
please help.. i cant think of anything else to do

You have encountered the symptoms of iTunes being strict/finicky/incompetent (pick your own interpretation) about slight variations in MP3 formats. Treat the files with a 3rd party tag cleanup program, such as MP3 Validator, and then they usually add to iTunes without further problem.

Im doing a cut and splice project for a dance program for a friend. almost completed, ive imported all her songs and have cut the proper portions of the songs she wants and heave re exported to itunes. Perfect. But there are three tracks i that wont convert in garage band. i dont see anything different about their format. just mp3 files, Im not doing anything different from the other tracks. No, I haven't figured it out. And no one from Apple has contacted me to help. Very frustrating. Sure makes me want to not buy music on iTunes and just buy CD's.

1. A 13" screen is awfully small to do any efficient editing. The 15" gives you significantly more on-screen real estate.
2. All of the MacBook Pros can run FCE. However the graphics processor in the 13" model will limit some functionality with effects. See Tom's earlier comment.
3. Not much difference. All these cpu's are fast. There will be more overall system performance gain from the quad core at the slower speed.
4. FCE cannot use more than 4GB RAM anyway, so the 4GB that comes with every MBP is more than adequate. If you expect to use Aperture or CS5 then go for more RAM, otherwise there's not much reason to add RAM. You will be better off spending your money upgrading to the 7200rpm hard drive.
5. Everything will be smaller on the high res screen; there are just more pixels (1680x1050) on the same 15.4" screen area. (I have a 15" MBP with the standard 1440x900 screen and it is beautiful.)

No, you should have Restrictions OFF.
Computer's iTunes > Preferences > Parental Preferences > everything should be unchecked.
Are the songs also on computer's iTunes?

I've never seen this issue, and I handle many iPads, of all versions. WiFi issues are generally local to the WiFi router - they are not all of the same quality, range, immunity to interference, etc. You have distance, building construction, and the biggie - interference.
At home, I use Apple routers, and have no issues with any of my WiFi enabled devices, computers, mobile devices, etc - even the lowly PeeCees. I have locations where I have Juniper Networks, as well as Aruba, and a few Netgears - all of them work as they should.
The cheaper routers, Linksys, D-Link, Seimens home units, and many other no name devices have caused issues of various kinds, and even connectivity.
I have no idea what Starbucks uses, but I always have a good connection, and I go there nearly every morning and get some work done, as well as play.
You could try changing channels, 2.4 to 5 Gigs, changing locations of the router. I have had to do all of these at one time or another over the many years that I have been a Network Engineer.
