Please help... Song count not updating on Nano
Hello. No matter how many songs I add to my Nano the song count on the front or main menu of my Nano never updates. My first time syncing I added 329 songs, now I have over 1000 on my Nano but it continues to say 329 at the main menu.
Any ideas? Am I doing something wrong?

No idea, but perhaps it is as simple as performing a Restore on the iPod and seeing if that gets everything back the way it should be working.
Note: Restoring erased the iPod and restores it to factory defaults, so only do this if everything on the iPod is safely backed up elsewhere, hopefully in your iTunes library.

ThankyouDownload the latest version of the iPod updater program from Apple, install it, and then run it. While it's running, have the iPod connected and pick the option to Restore the iPod. that will put a fresh copy of the ipod software back on it.

The iPod backup that iTunes makes does not include synced media like app, music and videos. Thus, you wll have to resync those back to your iPod.

I have an IPhone operating OS 4.21. I cannot back it up before update and I cannot set up an ICloud account as it needs to be on a version later on the device. Please help, I want to update but not lose everything!

That would tend to indicate a permissions issues on the computer.
Running an outdated version of iTunes is of absolutely no benefit.
All iDevices work with the current version of iTunes. -
I'm in trouble, my iPod Touch is giving 4th shock when recharge and the battery does not last any more. who knows or has a similar problem, please help me. Note: all this after I downloaded the new version OS5.
I would make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store because of the shock issue. I doubt it was caused by the update.

Can't burn music I purchased months ago, I could only burn the 4 cuts I bought this evening,6/9/12 message said originals cannot be found? Please help itunes would not let me buy a second time, thats a good thing but Im trying to make a music CD and itunes will not let me? Deleting this, then reinstalling adobe air did the trick. I wasn't thorough enough on my first try, it was tricky to find everything associated. I had to look for files in the console log then search for them. Spotlight was missing some deep files, EasyFind worked better for me.

So I was switching from manually update to automatic update and it said it would add all songs in existing library to ipod so I clicked yes. So it took all the songs that were from somebody else's library on their computer and erased them. Is there any way to get these back? I't's over a thousand songs! Please help!
