Ok. So I was online uploading some things to sell on CL when all of a sudden I noticed that all of my items on my taskbar had the same weird icon. I didn't think much of it and I continued to bounce between tabs. I updated my shockwave player and restarted my computer and after I logged back on I noticed my shortcuts and even everything under my start menus had the same exact pictures. When I clicked on what said paint. It went to windows live photo gallery. Everything I click on, No matter what it is directs me right back to Windows live photo gallery. What did I do? Or what do I need to do to fix this

I have seen 100 % laptops of dell which has issue with Lync, I tried to raise this Dell as per them is issue with Lync and even Mircrosoft global team said it dell laptop drivers issue, Some of the cases has been resolved by uninstalling Audio/video
drivers. but not for every laptop.

I saved a document, while logged in as a Guest, to another user account [it was set up for some reason to save like that (I guess the person who used computer last did that) and I didn't check before "saving"] on accident. Of course I didn't have permission to save on the other user's account but I was in a rush and so I figured everything was fine but later I found that there was a message warning me saying it did not save because it couldn't save because I had no permission to save on that account and gave me the option to duplicate or cancel.. I wasn't paying attention so I can't remember which button I hit but clearly it wasn't "duplicate"
I took hours perfecting this document and now I can't find it.. anywhere!
Where do these types of things go when this happens.. I know it's somewhere on the computer but where?? SOS I need the doc and I'm hoping I can find it

I'm trying to use Disk Drill but I only found things from November and it seems like it only shows files that have been physically/manually deleted..and my TIME MACHINE WAS NOT SET UP..because we recently got this MAC computer and had no clue what it was

I know, I always do that but I was in a rush to get somewhere and I was relying on my thousand dollar Mac to do some kind of recovery or something. I know Microsoft always keeps temporary files (I think Mac does too, part of me asking here in this forum was for someone to tell me where I can find those files) and when you go to open Office Works then it gives you the option of opening the last recent documents, saved or not saved.
I usually copy paste into my emial just in case something goes wrong with the created document but I just didn't have the time to login and do all that My loss, you live and you learn, BUT still if ANYONE got any info on this, PLEASE DO CHIME IN *keeping the hope alive* -

I am very miserable. I want to see GeoRaster Data with MapViewer 10. I have finished all guides but No result. The following details:
- I load image into Georaster successfully and estable extentspatial, metadata,etc.. as Mapviewer guide for Georaster theme at location 2.3.6.
- After that, I copy jai_core.jar and jai_codec.jar into ../web/Web-Inf/lib.
- Then repair MapviewerConfig.xml to respone to my Database.
- Then at window of Mapviewer, I paste my Map request following:

I do a final project about Georaster. My teacher say, I must use ASP.NET to coding with Georaster (including raw data and metadata-XML). It means that I must display a raster image that saved in Georater object on Web by ASP.NET. Some ideas say that can include Mapviewer XML API on ASP.NET. I do not how to do. to completely update my Zenworks Imaging Lenux kernel drivers etc...
to the most currant of system configs these days. My background was
all Microsoft till now. At the moment I am forced to use ZFD4 and just
hoping I can find the instructions for the latest drivers and updated kernel to support the new Dell GX series. Not forced but would like to find the solution using only my windows XP workstation. Easiest first step is to apply the latest updates to ZFD4, see if that
helps.

My blackberry pearl 8100 stoped living as of this morning at 8 a.m. I has a white screen with the same message as yours did, "app error 523 reset" No matter how many times i hit reset, it doesnt RESET! I have been off work since 6 and online looking for solutions. I read what the guy told you about yours, but i dont think i understand. I purchased my bb from someone, and i dont have anything on my desktop manager as some websites say. I do have the usb that came with the phone. Please help me if you can. First, you need to take the red out of your posts...please.
Second, you need to do the following:
I suggest the following steps (insert plenty of reboots of your PC...not just restarts, but full power down reboots). Also, it is advised that you be logged into the PC on an account with full admin rights. Further, under Vista, use the "Run As Administrator" option for everything. If you have never installed the Desktop Software to your PC, then skip steps 1 and 2.
1) Remove your device OS update package from your PC (add/remove programs)
2) Cleanly uninstall the RIM DTM software:

3) Get a fresh download of the RIM DTM software:

Choose the version that is newest and (if applicable) compatible with your PIM (if you are synchornizing via USB):

Curve 8520 signal problem please help?
I am from South Africa. I bought a bb 8520 curve December it worked fine until a month ago. When I sends bum it is slow and shows me a watch and then on my home screen it says searching for signal for a long time than shows sos. Then I get signal and loose it again. Apple Mini DVI to Video Adapter is not working. Please Help...
I bought an Apple Mini DVI to Video Adapter to connect my Macbook to a TV using normal video cable. When I connect the cable, my Laptop DIsplay gives a flickr once and then it shows nothing. I checked Display in the system preference where I don't get a secondary monitor option. My TV is panasonic and it's an old one. I work on Final Cut Pro and it's very very important to see my videos on a TV. What am I doing wrong with the connection? Anyone Please Please help...
Your probably not doing anything wrong. There are thousands of users with Similar issues and it seems to be with many different adapters.
We have Mini DP to VGA (3 different brands) and they all fail most of the time. This seems more prevalent with LCD Projectors. I've tested some (50+) with VGA Monitor (HP) and they all worked, LCD Projector (Epson, Hitachi, and Sanyo) and they all fail, DLP Projector (Sanyo) and one worked.
My Apple Mini DP to DVi works most of the time. My Mini DP to HDMI (Generic non Apple) works every time.
The general consensus is that Apple broke something in the OS around 10.6.4 or 10.6.5 and its not yet fixed. As we are a school we have logged a case with the EDU Support group so will see what happens.

PSE icons instead of the photo. I need to view photos at a glance. Please help me????
Please help, this is driving me crazy. I have downloaded my free PSE #9, it came with my Leica Camera. I cannot view at a glance any of my photos. There is only an icon that reads, PSE. To view any of my photos, I must click select and then preview. This gets old, and I am doing 4 times the work. I am having to use the dates to guess where my photos might be. I hate this! My old Photo Shop #5 didn't do this. When you went to my pictures, you could see every photo.
I have tried the right click and open as any program. What ever program I choose, that is the icon that appears. No photo. Still no good.
Please help.

Are you using Windows Explorer to view the files?
If so, load Explorer, go to the Tools menu and select Folder Options.
Click on the View tab and make sure the first option (Always show icons, never thumbnails) is not checked.
Click on OK and see if that is any better.
