Please help! Storage reading faulty on ipad2. Can't update to iOS 7.0.4!

Please Help! I have literally deleted all apps and pics from my ipad2 with the intention of updating to iOS7.0.4 It says I need 3.5GB to successfuly update ios but after clearing all removable apps and media I only have 2.6GB. What on earth is using all my storage?! There are no apps or pics stored on my ipad jet something is using 11.2gb! Can anyone help please?

Do the Update using iTunes on your Computer.
Make sure you have the Latest Version of iTunes (v11) Installed on your computer

How to flash BIOS:
            a. Please use fla**bleep**.exe V1.4c
               For flash BIOS only, "fla**bleep** PIWG2218.ROM /all /bios"
               For flash BIOS+EC, "fla**bleep** PIWG2218.bin /all /bios /ecb"
            b. For flash BIOS only, please use flash.bat
               For flash BIOS+EC, please use flasha.bat

I would recommend you to have free Apple apps such as Airport Utility, Find my Friends etc. Jetpack Joyride is a free game which has really hit the app store. Other then these I recommend Google Translate, Downloads, iDownloader and some other utilities like these. It is taking around 7-8 seconds to fetch 55000 record.

If you bought extra icloud storage, that is not what the storage that you need to update your phone.
It is talking about storage on the device itself. If you have a 16 gigabyte iPhone, and only have 1 GB available, you will NOT be able to update no matter how much icloud storage space you have.
Check in settings>general>usage
At the top it will say Storage, then show how many GBs are used, and how many are available. You need to have at least 3 GB in available to upgrade.

I have no idea what rtr planeta is but if it uses Flash, it won't work very well or at all on an iOS device. If it is Flash, try the Skyfire browser... it is supposed to run some Flash sites. Review it carefully before purchase.

I'm on iOS 6.1.2 but I can't update to iOS 7 I tried also using iTunes and it still didn't work, I even tried updating my iTunes yet it still won't work, and when I download iOS 7 on computer I try updating it, it says extracting software but doesn't go any further than that and then an error pops up. I can't update to ios 7.1 and I have enough storage space

I have tried updating to ios 7.1 and it said I did not have enough storage space. I removed over 700 photos and the storage space is now 4.8 gb, but it still won't install. I have tried switching off and on again to refresh the storage capacity, but the update still won't install. Please help.

Text messages containing photos & videos can take up a lot of space as well. That being said, if you have deleted these, check your Other space when connected to iTunes. This can take up a lot of space and can be addressed using Kappy's User Tip: https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-5142

Restore as new and see if fault persists if not then you can recover your back up to get back to normal
