You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
*Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
*Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
*Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
*Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
*Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

Error 23, 28, 29: These errors may indicate a hardware issue with your device. Follow the steps in this article. Also attempt to restore while connected with the white USB Dock Connector cable that shipped with your device, on a known good computer and network to isolate this issue to the device. The MAC address being missing or the IMEI being the default value, (00 499901 064000 0), can also confirm a hardware issue. Out-of-date or incorrectly configured security software can also cause these errors.

You probably don't need to do that.
How to Remove MacKeeper or use the Uninstall option in MacKeeper.
To erase and reinstall:
Install or Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion from Scratch
Be sure you backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive because the following procedure will remove everything from the hard drive.
Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Erase the hard drive:
1. Select Disk Utility from the main menu and click on the Continue button.
2. After DU loads select your startup volume (usually Macintosh HD) from the
left side list. Click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
3. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Optionally, click on
the Security button and set the Zero Data option to one-pass. Click on
the Erase button and wait until the process has completed.
4. Quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion: Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion and click on the Install button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible
because it is three times faster than wireless. -
I have a problem with loading the PNG image
I have a problem with loading the PNG image from site. For ex. go to icefilms com and is starts to load png like crazy CPU is huge and you can not shut down Firefox at least a minute. This is not just in this site but whit any one whit lots of pictures.

can't watch videos, waits a long time to open it, or it never opens it.
I have taken it back to the Apple store genius bar, but they say they don't see anything wrong. Well unless you use it all day and experience the problems when they happen, you wont see anything wrong. But there are lots wrong with it. But this would be the same store as I purchased the phone. And they backed up my old Iphone 4, but were not able to get anything to load back onto my new phone. So, I lost pretty much everything. But over time, some of my contacts have started showing up, although i am still missing over 800 of them.

Iv'e had my mac for 2 weeks safari was working great until I changed to a wire less super hub. Safari will not let me open & log into a web site I go on a lot. My ipad & windows lap top will on the same network. Apple have said it's the DNS setting my cable provider say it's not it's a problem with my mac. Iv'e phoned apple lots of times same with cable provider Iv'e tried a few things it has not helped solve the problem. I'm now advised to return my mac to the shop for a check. Has anyone else had this problem I would appreciate any help because I'm going round in circles.
Adding a couple of DNS numbers sometimes helps:
System Preferences>Network, select your wifi or ethernet network on the left and click on the 'advanced' button and then the DNS tab. On the left side of the window make a note of any DNS numbers listed so that you can re-instate them if necessary and then click on the '+" button bottom left of the window. Type 8.8.8.8 and click the + again and type 8.8.4.4 save the settings and try the website again.
BTW, I have the same problem with Firefox not letting me input my password in secure sites. I did find a workround in the network settings in Firefpx prefs, but it didn't stick so I reverted to using Chrome as alternative browser. No problems with that so long as you don't mind Google looking over your shoulder -
Please Help... Serious Problems with 3.2.0 patch
Hi, (sorry for the long post)
I'm working on a feature length, 5th century, indy film. Many of our scenes have cuts faster than once per second, esp durring the fight/battle seq. We have been editing for over 18 mon - we shot to HDV.
After updating PPro to the 3.2.0 patch I noticed that many of my 'in points' for edits had been slightly shifted. I found this disturbing note in Knowledge Base doc kb403179:
"Note: After re-indexing a project created before 3.2.0, it may be necessary to check the In-points of all edits, as there may be a slight offset from the original In-point."
It is totally impossible for us to go through and shift each edit point as there are thousands. We also have well over 100 camera rolls - recapture isn't a good option.
Has anyone else encountered this problem, how did you work around it?

Chad Burns, Director, pendragonmovie.comWe shot the video on Canon XHA1s as 1080 30F and captured it into PPro 3.1.1 projects built on the HDV 1080p30 preset. We shot in HD only for the added framing and FX flexibility, the final output will be SD.
Once the clips were captured and partially edited we created new PPro 3.1.1 projects based on the NTSC-DV Widescreen 48kHz presets. Final editing is done in these SD projects and then we export Microsoft AVI DV files.
Unfortunately some of our largest projects have begun to exhibit instability during export either crashing Ppro (w or w/o error message), re-starting the computer or hanging. The 3.2 patch gives us smooth export, but ruins the projects otherwise.
We have 3 PC/Vista editing platforms, all running 7200 rpm SATA drives, Intel duel or quad processors and 2 or 3 GB of ram.
Please let me know if any other specific info would be helpful.

PLEASE HELP!!!! Problem with my Huion H610n drawing tablet!!!
I recently purchased a drawing tablet which is the Huion H610N its working perfectly however when I opened photoshop cc I tried drawing in a blank canvas and Its not showing anything. I tried using the 'basic brushes' instead of my 'custom brushes' and it lets me draw and I can see it however the sensitivity is not showing when I draw using the 'basic brushes' the lines are just plain BOLD please help! I dont know why its doing this!
Try accessing the *System Preference* panel, named *Universal Access*;
then, note the choices within it include Mouse (among other) and click
on the Mouse section to check and see if _+the slider control+_ to change
the Size of the *Cursor icon* has been moved over to make it larger.
You can check/change several settings in Universal Access; also some
of these have keyboard shortcuts which may be engaged by a user,
by accident due to random use of a keyboard. Be aware of this, since
a pattern of changes when children use a computer may repeat; as
similar keyboard mistakes (or intentional odd results) use similar keys.
There are symbols representing keys used to engage Universal Access;
their icons in this control panel area of System Preferences should be-
come familiar to you, so when/if other odd visuals occur, check here.
Notice what the 'default' settings are, in the different U.A. panel areas.
This will help when you find another issue arise; a repeat is likely.
You may choose to set up a different user account in the Mac then have
it not allow full access to more than a few basic necessities, for a child.

I like the new version of Firefox 4, But have slowing problem with the bluecoat proxy. I have change different setting in the about:config with no luck. Any ideas why it's moving so slow would help?

After updating my Apple TV, it will no longer load movies from my iTunes library. Music works, but no movies. I've turned this puppy every which way but loose, but no joy. Is there a way to roll back an update?

I've never seen this issue, and I handle many iPads, of all versions. WiFi issues are generally local to the WiFi router - they are not all of the same quality, range, immunity to interference, etc. You have distance, building construction, and the biggie - interference.
At home, I use Apple routers, and have no issues with any of my WiFi enabled devices, computers, mobile devices, etc - even the lowly PeeCees. I have locations where I have Juniper Networks, as well as Aruba, and a few Netgears - all of them work as they should.
The cheaper routers, Linksys, D-Link, Seimens home units, and many other no name devices have caused issues of various kinds, and even connectivity.
I have no idea what Starbucks uses, but I always have a good connection, and I go there nearly every morning and get some work done, as well as play.
You could try changing channels, 2.4 to 5 Gigs, changing locations of the router. I have had to do all of these at one time or another over the many years that I have been a Network Engineer.

Please help me resolve the many problems with my airport extreme
Dear Community,
My Apple Airport Extreme has never worked properly out of the box and I do not understand why. I must be doing something wrong. It is replacing a series of Linksys products which integrated with several Linux and Windows machines, and they worked flawlessly.
Problem (1):
Extreme crashes/reboots every now and then, especially when I try to send a lot of data from one machine to another. I assume that I am sending too much data then, and would like to know how I can slow down my data transmission so as to not hurt the Extreme.
Problem (2):
Airport Extreme when restarting either on its own or through the software refuses to let previously connected clients reconnect. The problem is probably because of of Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Linux. This causes major networking issues as each individual machine must have its network layer restarted or be rebooted. So I would like to know what I can do to work around these problems in the operating systems.
Problem (3):
Airport Utility after a spontaneous dropping of all connections by the Extreme is unable to find "any base stations within range" (it is connected to the base station by Ethernet). Base station and computer were both power cycled, problem remains. Perhaps my ethernet cable is too long and this has made the base station "out of range?"
Problem (4):
Apple claimed that I would be able to use a USB 2.0 disk on the Extreme to do backups. When I plug in the USB disk as advertised, the transfer rate is 12% of its transfer rate when plugged into any other hardware. Please let me know which configuration options I need to set on the disk in order to obtain full data transfer rates that will allow me to back up several networked machines in a reasonable timeframe (i.e. less than 3 days).
Problem (5):
Please describe to me how to connect to the router with a web browser. Every other router I have worked with allows me to connect with a web browser, and since the Apple software refuses to connect to the base station I am no longer able to configure it as I do not own a shorter ethernet cable that will bring the base station within range of the computer. Since the apple software does not take any obvious arguments that allow me to specify the IP address of the base station, my only conclusion is that I am supposed to use a web browser which will take an IP address to connect. However, when I do this, I get a "page load error." I am confused, because I was told this is an extreme unit, so I thought it had at least industry standard features, therefore I must be the one doing something wrong.

Though I hate to say it, I have yet to see anything that comes close to a "solution" for the problems you describe. Sometimes, Problem #3 results from radio interference which might be alleviated by changing the default channel the base station transmits on.
Unlike every non-Apple router on the market, Apple's Airport Base Station must be configured using Apple's own "Airport Utility" software application. It is not possible to configure an Airport Base Station using a web browser.
Regrettably, in your case it sounds like you would be better off continuing to use your previous Linksys wireless router. -
