I have had my Ipad for about a year and regualrly transfer pictures from my pc to Ipad using ITunes. for some reason when i have tried to do this again the computer comes up with message that I cannot use my IPad as it needs 11.1 version. I have downloaded latest version of Itunes. Pease help as I am pretty hopeless with IT. Thanks

It sounds like you still have to update it.
It's very easy to do. If you have OSX iTunes, go to iTunes>Check for Updates. If you have Windows, go to Help>Check for Updates

I bought the IMAC 21.5" /2.5QC /2X2GB /500GB /6750M sept2012. After the automatic update run when restart computer the screen is on the gray screen with the logo and wont' do anything else. I tried to reboot holding the shift key without success. The package did not come with a CD so I can not reinstall the previous system. I even don't know what is the system that came with the computer because I just start using it. I bought in the US but am in Brazil. HELP PLEASE, how can I get the previous system so I can reinstall it? I do not mind loosing data but I need to work on it. PLEASE HELP! Thanks!

Try booting into the Recovery HD which is on the HD. Restart holding down Command+r and at the screen with four choices select Disk Utility>Macintosh HD and click on 'repair disk'. If any changes are made click on repair disk again until you get a clear pass. Restart as normal from the Apple menu.

You can open a command prompt by hitting the start button and typing CMD<Enter> in the search box that opens up.
To move the current backup folder from C: to D: type in this command and press <Enter>
Move "C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Local\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup" "D:\Backup"
Where <User> is your Windows user name.
To make iTunes look for the data in the new location type in this command and press <Enter>
MkLink /J "C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Local\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup" "D:\Backup"
If your external drive has a different letter or you already have a folder called "Backup" then edit "D:\Backup" accordingly in both commands.

That is because the iPad can only "sync" to one iTunes library at a time. You can move all of the iPad contents into a new iTunes library. This discussion will give you a lot of useful information.

I am also getting the same message on my iPad, when connecting to a Win7 PC.

I am desperate to get a backup of my iPad. The PC recognises the device but iTunes fails to do so and says -

This is what is happening to me. the PC is on and I have3 the Itunes on the screen but as soon as I plug in my iPad my PC seems to think that it is a digital still camera and emediatly starts suting down as it seems to think the iPad(digital camera) is going to harm my PC. Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We're users here and do not speak for "Apple Inc."
Some basic printer troubleshooting steps before worrying about a printer driver:
1. Have you tried turning the printer off and back on?
2A. Is the printer attached with a cable?
     If yes, have you tried unplugging and re-plugging both ends of the printer cable?
     If that does not help, can you test the printer with another cable?
2B. If your printer is not connected to the computer with a cable, have you tried restarting your printer (assuming wireless connection)?
     Have you tried restarting your wireless router?
3. Have you tried restarting your MacBook? (Be sure to save your work first.)
4. Does the printer have ink? (Doesn't usually generate a 'communications error' though)
5. Have you updated OS X or the program you're trying to print from recently?

Hi, I am brand new to my ipod and i plugged it into my PC to get it started, then i plugged it into a friends mac to get his songs- now when i plug it back into my computer it says it is linked to another itunes library and asks if i want to link it back to this one and replace all of the music. I do not want to loose all of the music but want it reconnected to my itunes with the music on my computer and taking the music on the ipod (from my friends itunes) into my itunes. What do i do? That above article will not resolve the issue. It explaines it clearly in the article.
"Using an iPod formatted for Macintosh on a Windows computer is not supported. Using an iPod formatted for Windows on a Macintosh computer is not supported."
this means that it won't work with out a 3rd party tool. You HAVE to restore it if you take it between different OS. That document works only if your taking it between windows machines or all mac machines.

So i downloaded just a few songs to my new computer that i wanted to put on my Ipad. But now when i plug in my Ipad mini to my c mac to sync it, Itunes begins to load it then crashes. I have tried updated my itunes, my ipad and my computer being new is already fully updated. So why can't i Sync my Ipad mini?

These suggestions:
If iPad doesn't appear in iTunes or you can't sync iPad
Follow these steps, testing after each:
Disconnect other USB devices from your computer and connect iPad to a different USB 2.0 port on your computer (not on your keyboard).
Turn iPad off and turn it on again. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on top of iPad for a few seconds, until a red slider appears. Then slide the slider. Then press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Restart your computer. Then reconnect iPad to your computer.

Instructions on syncing your iPad can be found here:

and in the accompanying documents linked from that page. Syncing your iPad with iTunes copies items, it doesn't move them. The only way apps would be actually removed from your iPad during syncing is if you had iTunes set to remove them on syncing, so check the appropriate settings in iTunes, set the book to sync as well, and then sync the iPad again.
