Hi Brunodaniel2345,
Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. I have read your thread on your HP Notebook and recovery selection does not use the mouse or keyboard. Have you tried Tab it will take the selection to the next line?
What about putting the laptop in  Safe Mode for a system restore? Here is a link to show you how.
I would be happy to assist if needed. How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number?
Please respond with which Operating System you are running:
Which Windows Operating System am I running?
Please let me know.
Thanks.

Need to Resume download to complete the ongoing Process.
Last Resort, put the iPhone in DFU mode (Google How to do that). Connect in iTunes. Follow on-screen prompts to Restore. All Data would be lost, if not backed up earlier.
To save the photographs you may have to use third party software. Google is your friend.

  • Please Help! Stuck in Recovery Mode and My Player is N

If anyone can help...you would be saving me!!! I received the Zen Micro as a present last week. I have Windows Millennium. I downloaded all of the software successfully. My device is recognized by my USB, however, the Creative Zen Micro Media Explorer keeps stating that my device is not plugged in. So, I went and used the FAQ section's directions and went into Recovery Mode. Now, since I have not used this MP3 player at all yet, I am stuck in recovery mode. I downloaded all of the recent drivers, jukebox, and firmware to my PC, however, when I try to transfer the files to my Zen Micro, it states that the device is not plugged in. Now I am panicking because it is stuck in Recovery Mode, and I want to transfer my firmware, drivers, etc. Can anyone please help me?? Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!

Honestly, these are WAGs but they're all that I can think of.
First, try a system reset.  It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo.  Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears.  You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore.  Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset.  Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync.  From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab.  Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup.  You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod.  Again, say "yes."
Finally, if the Restore doesn't work, let the battery drain completely.  Then recharge for at least an hour and Restore again.

  • Please, please, please help me find a recovery key. Without it I cannot sync, and your instructions don't work!

I click on the Firefox tab, then "options" and THERE IS NO "Manage Account" and, therefore, NO RECOVERY KEY. Help me, please! Both my computers are Windows: one Win7, one Win8. I've spent hours and hours -- in multiple sessions over a period of months -- trying to solve this.

Thanks, Ibai and cor-el for responsing to my plea for help.
Ibai's response -- in particular his query about syncing two un-synced computers and his observation that I shouldn't need a recovery key -- made me realize that I had registered for some reason or another with Firefox back whenever, and that registration was gumming up the works. Firefox assumed I had previously synced, and now needed to re-synch (I guess). With this realization, I re-registered under another username, and (lo!) I started getting the cues I was expecting.
I'm synced, and am presently exploring the Tile Tabs add-on and totally happy again with Firefox.

  • Please help, When exporting, I get the wrong size in DVD, ...I am in a hurry :)

    Dear sir
I have this problem that I can not find the answer for. I have looked around. Hope someone are able to help me. I would think it would be no problem at all, but....
    I use a Panasonic HDC- SD60, 1920x1080 HD
I make project by choosing the General setting as set. then I choose DV-pal widescreen 48 khz.
I import file from harddrive, and put the file to the icon "new item" to make premier choose the 1920x1080 in timeline.
then I export, using Ctrl + M. After that I choose both
    default settings
    and Microsoft AVI
I also tried to crop size in this window
    Problem is:
ALWAYS THE SAME, THE DVD FILE HAVE BLACK SIDEBARS LEFT AND RIGHT IN THE SCREEN, NOMATHER HOW I TRY TO EXPORT.
This is the problem, I want to use a widescreen TV, and make it fit here.
PLEASE, if you know the solution...
    Your making my DAY
    Best regards Stig Morterud

Put your HD footage in a matching sequence.
Export straight to mpeg-2 dvd or Send to Encore and let Encore do the math.
    Thanks for answer.
I think I already added the HD movie in the correct sequence type. I dropped it on the icon, and the program itself provides to add the sequence of 1980x1020.
    Do you agree?
If I'm going to use MPEG-2 DVD, it will reduce the quality of the movie. Also, I tried this, but the film, and the sound became there own seperat file. (?)
I thought it was like that when I chose the widescreen, so it would fit your widescreen TV. Especially when I selected the appropriate frames on the timeline.

  • Please help me on this Flash keyboard code?

Heya, today is my first time doing scripting with AS3 and I would like to learn how to create a flash keyboard that will be used in a touchscreen machine. Currently I have given myself some basic feature idea for the keyboard but have not start coding it yet since I'm not familiar with flash, they should be able to switch textboxes and have backspace button, a tab button, a spacebar button. Is anyone willing to show me a tutorial or a sample code for a head start?
EDIT: I have found one AS3 keyboard, the textbox and keyboard are coded out but I need multiple textboxes. How can I drag and drop multiple textbox and keyboard into the screen instead?(because i need to have like 3 textboxes and a keyboard that I can design it, with the coded keyboard, can I change the design/color of the keyboard?) Please click on the link to check it out - http://www.mediafire.com/?31203k62zhs1p2h

  • Please Help - When I try to add ASM Disk to ASM Diskgroup it crashes Server

We are using a Pillar SAN and have LUNS Created and are using the following multipath device: (I'm a DBA more then anything else... but I am rather familiar with linux .... SAN Hardware not so much)
    Device Size Mount Point
    /dev/dpda1 11G /u01
The Above device is working fine... Below are the ASM Disks being Created
Device Size Oracle ASM Disk Name
    /dev/dpdb1 198G ORCL1
    /dev/dpdc1 21G SIRE1
    /dev/dpdd1 21G CART1
    /dev/dpde1 21G SRTS1
    /dev/dpdf1 21G CRTT1
I try to create to the first ASM Disk
    /etc/init.d/oracleasm createdisk ORCL1 /dev/dpdb1
Marking disk "ORCL1" as an ASM disk: [FAILED]
So I check the oracleasm log:
    #cat /var/log/oracleasm
Device "/dev/dpdb1" is not a partition
I did some research and found that this is a common problem with multipath devices and to work around it you have to use asmtool
    # /usr/sbin/asmtool -C -l /dev/oracleasm -n ORCL1 -s /dev/dpdb1 -a force=yes
asmtool: Device "/dev/dpdb1" is not a partition
    asmtool: Continuing anyway
now I scan and list the disks
    # /etc/init.d/oracleasm scandisks
Scanning the system for Oracle ASMLib disks: [  OK  ]
    # /etc/init.d/oracleasm listdisks
    ORCL1
Here is whats going on in /var/log/messages when I run the oracleasm scandisks command
    # date
    Fri Aug 14 13:51:58 MST 2009
    # /etc/init.d/oracleasm scandisks

At this point I don't want to click the OK until I am sure someone is in the office to reboot the machine manually if I do hang it again....  I hung it twice yesterday, however I did not have the devices excluded in the oracleasm configuration file as i do now

Well Clicking OK hun it again and I am waiting to get back into it, to see what new information might be gleened
Does anyone have any ideas on what to check or where to look?????    Will update more once I can log back in

    Hi Mark,
It looks like something is not correct with your raw device partition based on the error messages:
Aug 14 13:52:06 seer kernel: Add. Sense: Logical unit not supported
    Aug 14 13:52:06 seer kernel:
Aug 14 13:52:06 seer kernel: sda: test WP failed, assume Write Enabled
Aug 14 13:52:06 seer kernel: sda: asking for cache data failed
Aug 14 13:52:06 seer kernel: sda: assuming drive cache: write through
    Aug 14 13:52:06 seer kernel: sda:end_request: I/O error, dev sda, sector 0
It could be a number of things. I would check with your vendor and Oracle support to see if the multipath software drive is supported and if there is a potential workaround for ASM. Sorry this is not quite the solution, but its what jumps to mind based on issues with multipath software and storage vendors for ASM with Linux and Oracle. Have you checked the validation matrix available on Metalink?
    Cheers,
    Ben

  • Please help. when i plug in my Ipad to Itunes it says cannot use IPad and need 11.1 Itunes version. I thought I had updated Itunes to latest .

I have had my Ipad for about a year and regualrly transfer pictures from my pc to Ipad using ITunes. for some reason when i have tried to do this again the computer comes up with message that I cannot use my IPad as it needs 11.1 version. I have downloaded latest version of Itunes. Pease help as I am pretty hopeless with IT. Thanks

It sounds like you still have to update it.
It's very easy to do. If you have OSX iTunes, go to iTunes>Check for Updates. If you have Windows, go to Help>Check for Updates

  • Please help :( When I try to export to a Windows Media....

I use flip4mac to convert my final cut projects into WMV but when I do that the files are huge and are much too big to upload to my website. What I've been doing is exporting the files as an MOV and then using Quicktime's "export for web" function to turn them into MPEG 4 (which are much smaller files) and then converting that file into WMV which turns out to be a more manageable size without losing a much picture and sound quality. Obviously this is an extremely convoluted way to do things and is very time consuming. I know there must be a simple way to use the Quicktime Conversion option straight out of Final Cut into a internet friendly sized WMV file but I can't figure out the settings
I know this is probably a simpleton question but I have no formal Final Cut training so I'm self taught and I probably do everything backasswards. If one of you could help me I would be soooo grateful.
    Sincerely,
    Christine

If the WMV files are too big when you export directly to that format, try using different settings. Even the cheapest flip4mac plugin includes several presets.

  • PLEASE HELP IM STUCK IN RECOVERY MODE WITH NO BACKUP

CAN ANYBODY PLEASE TELL ME WHAT TO DO. IM STUCK IN RECOVERY MODE, IVE NEVER BACKED UP MY IPHONE AND I CANT RESTORE IT TO FACTORY BECAUSE IT WILL DELETE ALL MY DATA.

It's too late to back up now and you need to restore. Why did you not back up?

  • Please help - iPod touch 4g recovery mode loop

Today I decided I'd update my iPod, however once done I got the message 'iTunes has detected iPod in recovery mode, you must restore this iPod before you can connect it with iTunes'. However when I do restore it it also wants me to 'restore and update' and after downloading the update for 15 minutes nothing happens. Everything still stays the same and when I replug my iPod it just wants me to download the update all over again.
This is driving me mad help

Look, calm down, I have been through a boot loop also because I was tampering with something I shouldn't have been while in SFTP... Haha.... All you have to do is put it in DFU mode to restore. First connect it to the PC, open iTunes, then you hold down the sleep button, count to 3, WITHOUT RELEASING THE SLEEP BUTTON, you hold down the Home button and count to 10, then take your finger off of the sleep button and keep holding the home button, then your PC should start downloading the apple recover drivers and iTunes will give you a message prompting you that it has detected an iPod in recovery mode, press restore, and voilla!! DFU fixes just about any problem besides outright smashing your device with a hammer. As an important note, make sure your iTunes is at the current version, as I ran into an error (21) countless times because of an older version.
