Please Help With Strange Cache Issue

My Setup:
a rpt report is "publish as web service" to a site hosted on IIS 7
a Reportviewer control from a win app. accessing the report by seting its reportsource to http://xxxxxxxxxx/x.asmx
Everything load and work correctly the first time i open my report from the winform
My Strange Problem:
When i re access the report (by closing down the winform then reload it and the reportviewer control) , it does not refresh data from the database again. I run a trace and verify this. It seem to be using some kind of server cache that i would like to turn off and ahve it hit the database every time i open the report
Could someone please help?

What version of CR? Unknown
What updates for CR have been applied? None that I know of
Make sure "Saved data" with report is not enabled. Unknown
Make sure you dispose and close the report object. Unknown
With all due respect, to use an analog, you're essentially saying; I got a car and it does not work. No idea if it has three wheels or four. No idea what make. No idea what engine. No idea if it uses gas, jet fuel, hydrogen... Now see if your local neighborhood mechanic can give you an idea ho to fix the car.
Not sure why you do not have the info, unless this is a 3rd party app. If that is the case, you need to go to who ever created the app and get them to support you on it. E.g.; they will know the details and if need be, they can supply those to you or to this forum and we can go and see if we can get that car going.

Hi all,
I'll try and be brief here but i need to give a lot of info, so please bear with me and thanx a lot for reading...
I Have just bought a K7N2 Delta MB, AMD Athlon 2800 XP (Barton Core), 120GB Western Digital HD, Sony DVD Writer, 2 x Corsair 256 DDR RAM
Already have ATI radeon 9600 Pro to put on it. And a 40 GB Western digital (data) drive from my old machine.
I built the new machine in a case with a 400 Watt power supply, booted up and the machine seemed fine. Installed Windows XP professional, all seemed fine.
THEN:
I installed the Nvidia drivers etc from the CD, reboot...
NTLDR is missing
Press Ctrl Alt Del to restart.
Being a computer engineer i checked the A: drive instantly, no floppy. Tried to reboot, same error.
Used recovery console with chkdsk /r. This found the problem and fixed it, the machine booted again... ONCE. On the very next boot NTLDR is missing.
I removed the second IDE drive and reinstalled windows, all seemed fine.
Put the second drive back in, (now this was stupid of me, but I installed the Nvidia drivers again straight away - should have tried at least one reboot first, but hey ho I didn't)
Reboot... NTLDR is missing.
Now these are the really odd things...
SOMETIMES the machine will boot with both drives in if I leave the Windows XP CDRom in the drive????? SOMETIMES i get NTLDR is missing.
It is ONLY when I have a second drive in that this error occurs, if I remove it the machine boots no problem.
I have had the machine work and boot 2 or 3 times in a row with the second hard disk on the secondary IDE with the DVD writer. But eventually the NTLDR comes back.
The old drive is NTFS always has been
I have tried many different combinations of IDE and drives, every option works fine unless I put another HD in the machine (yes i have tried more than one and get the same error)
My thoughts are that something in the Nvidia drivers is causeing this, as both times the machine has had the problem on the reboot that these drivers ask for. (I need to reinstall and not install these drivers and see what happens as I havn't yet)
Or
The MB is faulty
What do you guys think?

Well in one of those weird twists of PC hell I managed to fix it, and you wouldnt believe what it was!!
When I was setting up the machine I misread the jumper settings and removed the 200MHZ frb jumper. I realised what I'd done and replaced it. At that point the machine didnt boot, so I removed it again and the machine booted up once more (Had initially boot with the jumper on when i started)
I sat thinking about this and figured that it was the only 'unknown' because even though the machine worked I still felt the jumper should be on. So...
I changed the other jumper to safe mode (J12 i think it os) and put back the 133/166 mhz jumper and sure enough same problem. So I left it on, left the other on safe mode and reset the Bios.
I then changed the FSB to the correct 166 and viola! its been fine ever since!!!
Go figure, gotta love PC's

Please help with database connection issue

Hi,
I've created a few connections and pages with a few recodsets on my local computer and am connecting fine with the database. I've uploaded the database via phpmyadmin onto a remote server and uploaded all my pages to the website and have changed the database info, user name and password in the connections folder but when I try to load the file I get a message "no database selected". I've tried various things but no luck. I'm selecting the database name but something is missing. Any help would be appreciated.

1)Serialized V3 Update also called v3 update is being used for 02 and 03 applications. so what would be the flow for the above module?
would it be:
1) Dialog screen to make changes made to a purchasing document called
2)changes made and saved go to update tables VB*
3)Then V1 FM call moves the data from VB* tables to Application tables
4)If V2 FM is necessary, it is looked up in VBHDR and performs calulations eg:Total price = Qty * Price per unit.
what are the tables that V3 collective run then moves data from to RSA7

I've created form based on two tables - two blocks with relationship. One table have fields ID and DESCRIPTION and there is LOV based on it. LOV returns value to textbox. I want that user see in textbox value DESCRIPTION, but when user save changes to main table there is update on ID field. How can I do that?

Please help with Port Assignment issue!

I have 5 rack mount tone modules connected to a keyboard controller each on seperate midi channels and seperate ports (Controller: Port 1, Midi 1, Module #1: Port 2, Midi 2, Module #2: Port 3, Midi 3 etc).
Every time I chnge a port setting on one unit, it changes all of them on every track, so I get no audio output unless I manually assign each port whenever I want to play that track.
Please! how do I assign independent port settings to each channel????

Yep, that's it, they were all running from the same "generic" external MIDI environment, switch one, they all switch.
I use a few external instruments and have a fairly well crafted environment I've developed over the past few years.

Please Help with Itunes/Ipod issue

So I got given an Ipod touch for my birthday and it says i need itunes to use it, so i try to go to apple site to download itunes and the site will not load. I tried both the UK and US sites. Infact I cannot get any page to load up other then the UK sites home page. So this is making it kinda difficult to get itunes and get my ipod working and its **** annoying as i am left with a present i cant use.
I know its not my PC at fault as i have tried other computers and the pages still dont load.
Does anyone know where i can download itunes from or even why the site has not been working for the last week?

yep just tried your link and the page just doesnt load, i have sat here for 5 minutes on the same page waiting for it to load and nothing.
It does the little swirly loading thing in the corner of the tab to say its loading the page but it doesnt actually get there and finish it.
I have tried 3 different browsers on 4 different computers and also asked a friend to try on theirs to see if they can get to it and they cant either, so it cant be the computer, something must be up with the site.

I am trying to load Windows 7 on a S10 6483 which has a SAS hard drive.
While instaling, the system does not see the drive and asks for a driver.
I can not find a SAS driver for windos 7 any where.

Hi All
I need some help with a table.
My table needs to hold prices that the user can update.
Also has a total of the column.
my question is if the user adds in a new price how can i pick up the value they have just entered and then add it to the total which will be the last row in the table?
I have a loop that gets all the values of the column, so I can get the total but it is when the user adds in a new value that I need some help with.
I have tried using but as I need to set the toal with something like total
    totalTable.setValueAt(total, totalTable.getRowCount()-1,1); I end up with an infinite loop.
Can any one please advise on some way I can get this to work ?

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you boot, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

F4 Help with text table in WD abap

Hi,
i am using country related input help with check table T005 in one of table and i want to display the country text along with country id in my table, f4 for country is coming however if i select country from f4 it showing country id in the input field of table.
i want to have country text also in one of my input fields in the table, i have seen f4 help works if we have explicit search help and using parameter assignment we can have id and text defaulted if we use same context for id and text fields, however in this case country table t005 has check table t005 where texts are stored in text table t005t so web dynpro abap is't picking up the texts??
please suggest how can i get the texts as soon as i select country in the f4??

Hi Kranthi,
You merely have to have an internal table storing list of countries, which you only need to do once, e.g. on load of application (method WDDOINIT of COMPONENTCONTROLLER). In your view, you have to declare a method for event onEnter of the input field, but this method doesn't have to have any code. Your code will be in method WDDOBEFOREACTION, where you read get country name from country key. Once you've got country name, transfer value to a context attribute to which you've already mapped as a source for attribute value of the UI element.
