When i try and download i-tunes i get a message about URBCHN1 not being a win32 command, or something similar. I have tried all thr suggestion on the web, deleted i tunes and quicktime, deleted temp folders and even changed the settings in myconfig, but what ever i do i still get the same message!

I'm on OS 10.5.8
I've downloaded the Adobe AIR Installer, but the installer always indicates that it will update Adobe AIR
Installed: 1.5.2.8870
Update: 1.5.3.9130
A spotlight search for these two log files produces nothing.
I also followed your instructions here:
Double-click the Terminal application located at /Applications/Utilities/Terminal.
Type cd /Users/userName.
Type echo > .airinstall.log and/or echo > .airappinstall.log "
But terminal replies with "No such file or directory"

I received an error message when attempting to install the latest update as well. Went through all steps, downloaded through Itunes and when asked to update my apple id by entering an e -mail, the following error message appears:
Could not sign in
There was a problem connecting to the server.
However, I was able to access google/gmail account servers prior to installing iOS 6. Now my phone is stuck at this error message and I can't use it!

I usually install app updates with iTunes on my computer followed by syncing my iPhone to install the downloaded updates on my iPhone. When syncing your iPhone with iTunes the first time after downloading app updates with your iPhone, the updates are transferred to your iTunes library on your computer. Less of a chance for a potential problem when doing so with iTunes on your computer.

Please help: strange error message when trying to burn cds

I have been trying to burn an itunes playlist onto cds and I have never had trouble doing this before, but just this afternoon I have started getting an error message and the disc will automatically eject itself immediately following the initializing stage.
The error message I receive is this: "The attempt to burn a disc failed. The device failed to calibrate the laser power for this media."
What does this mean? What can I do to fix the problem? Thank you in advance!!
(Additional information in case this is helpful: The discs are Maxwell CD-R audio cds with 700mb/80min capacity, and my itunes is version 7.3.1. The playlist is long -- spanning multiple cd lengths -- but I have never encountered a problem with that before, so I don't think that is causing the error.)

Same here.Although i've had this problem since febuary of this year.
Just upgraded to 7.4 and it still does'nt work.Its not an uncommon problem,there has been hundreds of threads about this and thousands of users with the same problem,apple don't seem to want to recognise or solve the problem.Disgraceful behaviour on their part.
I've simply had enough now so i've contacted these...

Yes, I'm new to Oracle SOA Suite and BPEL Process manager. I've searched the forums, OTN, and Google and have not found any description of this error message:
"oracle.fabric.common.FabricException: Number of SOAP body elements and parts do not match in operation: <operation-name>"
Using JDeveloper 11.1.1.2.0 and WebLogic/SOA 10.3.2.0.
The BPEL process was built completely using JDeveloper's graphical tools... I haven't done any raw editing of the BPEL files yet. What types of things might I possibly be doing wrong that would cause this error to occur? Any idea what two things the server is comparing and deciding that there's a mismatch? It doesn't look like it is even attempting to invoke the external service, but bailing out before that, thinking that it's going to send bad data. Below is a bit more detail.
Also, I loaded up the WSDL (same one that I gave to JDeveloper) into SOAPUI. Then I took the payload that SOA was about to send (see below) and pasted it into SOAPUI. SOAPUI didn't complain and the target web service accepted the message and produced a "success" response. It looks like the payload is correct, so I don't know why SOA is complaining.

Welcome to BPEL. Take a moment, and write "it's a namespace issue" on a sheet of paper. Post it near your monitor. It won't always be a namespace issue, but it's usually a good thing to suspect first! Is the namespace prefix ns1: defined somewhere? Does your XML that is being sent really match what the WSDL has for input to the UpsertEmp operation? The namespaces for each element level in the XML need to match, not just the lowest level.
When problems like this get really sticky, you can use TCP tunneling (obtunnel shell?) to capture what is really being sent to the server, and compare that to what is sent from SOAPUI. That's more useful if it's a subtle header problem, but you may get better error messages if you catch the BPEL message and send it using SOAPUI.

Hello everyone,
lately I have been having some issues when trying to download pictures from my iphone to my iphoto library. Whenever I try to do so this message pops up "The following file could not be imported. The file is in an unrecognized format." Would anyone happen to know why this is happening? I was always able to transfer my pictures from my phone to my laptop before, so I don't know why this is happening now.

if you look at the error message - is the filename mentioned? What kind of file is it? A JPEG? A video?

PLEASE HELP! Error Message When Trying to Publish Site

No matter how many of these errors I fix (edit the file and re-upload it onto the site), Muse comes up with a new error every time I try and publish. How can I resolve this issue, so I can publish my updated site. It should not be a problem with the files considering I have been able to publish the same files in the past...something is wrong with Muse itself.

Business Catalyst does not support special characters in file names (i.e. "&"). Through normal paths of placing or importing files, Muse will automatically alter the file names during publish to remove the special characters. The one exception path I'm aware of is an .oam file from Edge, where Muse doesn't have enough knowledge of what all is within the .oam package to safely alter the file names.
When the error occurs, is it always for a file that contains a special character in the file name?
How many files are being uploaded?
If you click "Resume" does the Publish process:
A) Proceeds and completes
B) Puts up the same dialog for the same file
C) Puts up a similar dialog, but for a different file
D) Other?

The Yahoo program is demanding more memory from Java than it has available. There is a setting that you can enter in the Java Control Panel that increases the maximum amount of memory that Java can use, if needed. By increasing this limit to a large enough value, this error can be eliminated. The default memory size is 64 megabytes.
These instructions are for Java version 1.4.x, but earlier version are similar. If you can't find the entry area, check other tabs.
Open the Windows Control Panel > Java Control Panel (it may be labeled Java Plug-in) > Advanced tab
There's an entry area titled "Java Runtime Parameters" at the bottom. Enter this option in it:
-Xmx96m
This allows Java to use 96 megabytes of memory. To allow it to use 128 mb, the entry would be -Xmx128m
Use the smallest even number that will allow the program to run. After changing this value you must close all browser windows.

Error message while trying to update aps.

When visiting appstore on my iPhone 3G it says that I have 3 updates available. But when I choose to update an app that I have installed om my iPhone I get this error message:
"This discounted price is only available to customers who own a previous version of this item. To purchase this item at full price, click Buy"
If I then click the "Buy" button it says:
"This item is currently being modified. Please try again later."
I have seen previous post saying it is a DRM issue and that its possible you have purchased the aps with a different itunes account or shared them on another phone but I only have one itunes account and one phone.

If you get that error when using iTunes 10.5, it means you've hacked the phone to downgrade the iOS in the past.
"This device is not eligible for the requested build: Also sometimes displayed as an "error 3194." If you receive this alert, update to the latest version of iTunes. Third-party security software or router security settings can also cause this issue. To resolve this, follow Troubleshooting security software issues.
Downgrading to a previous version of iOS is not supported. If you have installed software to performunauthorized modifications to your iOS device, that software may have redirected connections to the update server (gs.apple.com) within the Hosts file. First you must uninstall the unauthorized modification software from the computer, then edit out the "gs.apple.com" redirect from the hosts file, and then restart the computer for the host file changes to take affect. For steps to edit the Hosts file and allow iTunes to communicate with the update server, see iTunes: Troubleshooting iTunes Store on your computer, iPhone, iPad, or iPod—follow steps under the heading Blocked by configuration (Mac OS X / Windows) > Rebuild network information > The hosts file may also be blocking the iTunes Store. If you do not uninstall the unauthorized modification software prior to editing the hosts file, that software may automatically modify the hosts file again on restart. How are you trying to update? You can't do it with wifi. The easiest and safest way, is to open iTunes and don't connect the phone. Download the update and connect when it is complete.

HELP! Error -19 while trying to update iPhone to 2.1

So I tried to update my iphone this afternoon to the 2.1 version. iTunes downloaded the program and when it went to update the phone it said an error (-19) had occured. Does anyone know what this means or how to fix it ?

Ok so I've been trying to get my iPhone updated to the 2.1 version for over an hour now. The first two times I tried to install 2.1 I received a message via iTunes that an error occurred (-19).
I decided to do a hard reboot & let the phone sync & backup again, which took forever btw. Finally the phone let me upgrade to 2.1 but it took at least 25 minutes for it to process. During that whole time I had the white Apple logo on my iphone screen. Than suddenly when it finished my iPhone vibrated twice switched back to the locked homescreen on my iPhone and displayed "iPhone is activated".
Currently my iPhone is in the process of syncing & backing up currently.
