Please Help with Itunes/Ipod issue

So I got given an Ipod touch for my birthday and it says i need itunes to use it, so i try to go to apple site to download itunes and the site will not load. I tried both the UK and US sites. Infact I cannot get any page to load up other then the UK sites home page. So this is making it kinda difficult to get itunes and get my ipod working and its **** annoying as i am left with a present i cant use.
I know its not my PC at fault as i have tried other computers and the pages still dont load.
Does anyone know where i can download itunes from or even why the site has not been working for the last week?

yep just tried your link and the page just doesnt load, i have sat here for 5 minutes on the same page waiting for it to load and nothing.
It does the little swirly loading thing in the corner of the tab to say its loading the page but it doesnt actually get there and finish it.
I have tried 3 different browsers on 4 different computers and also asked a friend to try on theirs to see if they can get to it and they cant either, so it cant be the computer, something must be up with the site.

Need help with Itunes Authorization issue

I've been a Itunes/Ipod user for a couple years. During that time, I've sure spent over $500.00 on Itunes music from the Itunes store for my Ipod. My daugter and I both have Ipods.. There have only been 2 machines with Itunes installed here but I occasionally rebuild my computers to have the latest and greatest hardware for my business.. i restored my ipod so all of my music was taken out but i still have everything in my itunes. when i plug my ipod in it will read my ipod for like a mintue and it says that it is updating my music and then after 30 seconds this pops up on my itunes "ipod cannont be updated. the required folder cannot be found." then itunes doesn't recognize my ipod anymore and my ipod dies. can someone please help i have done many things but nothing has worked.

The music that is in Itunes, where did you get it from. If you downloaded from somewhere and deleted the files, the names of the songs will stay on there, but the actual music has been erased. Check to see if the music is saved in a file on the computer. If the actual file to be copied is not saved somewhere on your computer, you will not be able to get these songs. Also, if your Ipod is dying, how good is your battery?

I downloaded AnyDVD so I'd be able to burn dvd's on my pc. While doing this I think I may have screwed my Itunes up. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling all AnyDVD, Itunes, Quicktime programs. The problem I'm having is when I bring up Itunes and try burning a cd it says "disc burner or software not found." I ran diagnostic check on Itunes and this is what I get. Keep in mind when I checked the drivers for my pc SlySoft came up on all of them. SlySoft is the program for AnyDVD.

Just deleted all other (ANyDVD, Decoder and shrink) programs, uninstalled Itunes and Quicktime; reinstalled Itunes 7.3 and Quicktime 7. Thanks for all the help. Randy

Please Help With Strange Cache Issue

My Setup:
a rpt report is "publish as web service" to a site hosted on IIS 7
a Reportviewer control from a win app. accessing the report by seting its reportsource to http://xxxxxxxxxx/x.asmx
Everything load and work correctly the first time i open my report from the winform
My Strange Problem:
When i re access the report (by closing down the winform then reload it and the reportviewer control) , it does not refresh data from the database again. I run a trace and verify this. It seem to be using some kind of server cache that i would like to turn off and ahve it hit the database every time i open the report
Could someone please help?

With all due respect, to use an analog, you're essentially saying; I got a car and it does not work. No idea if it has three wheels or four. No idea what make. No idea what engine. No idea if it uses gas, jet fuel, hydrogen... Now see if your local neighborhood mechanic can give you an idea ho to fix the car.
Not sure why you do not have the info, unless this is a 3rd party app. If that is the case, you need to go to who ever created the app and get them to support you on it. E.g.; they will know the details and if need be, they can supply those to you or to this forum and we can go and see if we can get that car going.

i am a prepaid client with no data on my plan so i have my data shut off on my iphone 4, so when i am not in wifi range and send a message to other iphone friends as a txt message (not Imessage). they are not recieving until i get back to wifi and then send as an imessage. Please help!!!!

Help with itunes/ipod

My iTunes is not working properly. It is not showing that my iPod is connected.
My iPod continues to show the Do not disconnect display. How do I eject it if it does not show up on itunes?
If I have accidently disconnected it while it was showing the do not connect display, what do I do?
I tried to reset the ipod but it would not reset.

Ok, I guess I messed up more than I thought. After my iTunes froze and quit responding, I reset my computer. I thought it was ok to disconnect the ipod. Now, the "do not disconnect" screen is still being displayed. I tried to reset the ipod, but that didn't help. The ipod is not shown on "my computer." Now what should I do? Thanks!

I am using the monster paradise app. It is a game hwere you can buy cristals to keep on going on the game. But it tells me that I cannot buy anything. But looking in my bank account I see that apple is charging me money for things that i did not buy. Exactly 1.98€ what do I have to do? They do not answer me to any email that i habe sent. Please help with a weird issue

Hi all,
I'll try and be brief here but i need to give a lot of info, so please bear with me and thanx a lot for reading...
I Have just bought a K7N2 Delta MB, AMD Athlon 2800 XP (Barton Core), 120GB Western Digital HD, Sony DVD Writer, 2 x Corsair 256 DDR RAM
Already have ATI radeon 9600 Pro to put on it. And a 40 GB Western digital (data) drive from my old machine.
I built the new machine in a case with a 400 Watt power supply, booted up and the machine seemed fine. Installed Windows XP professional, all seemed fine.
THEN:
I installed the Nvidia drivers etc from the CD, reboot...
NTLDR is missing
Press Ctrl Alt Del to restart.
Being a computer engineer i checked the A: drive instantly, no floppy. Tried to reboot, same error.
Used recovery console with chkdsk /r. This found the problem and fixed it, the machine booted again... ONCE. On the very next boot NTLDR is missing.
I removed the second IDE drive and reinstalled windows, all seemed fine.
Put the second drive back in, (now this was stupid of me, but I installed the Nvidia drivers again straight away - should have tried at least one reboot first, but hey ho I didn't)
Reboot... NTLDR is missing.
Now these are the really odd things...
SOMETIMES the machine will boot with both drives in if I leave the Windows XP CDRom in the drive????? SOMETIMES i get NTLDR is missing.
It is ONLY when I have a second drive in that this error occurs, if I remove it the machine boots no problem.
I have had the machine work and boot 2 or 3 times in a row with the second hard disk on the secondary IDE with the DVD writer. But eventually the NTLDR comes back.
The old drive is NTFS always has been
I have tried many different combinations of IDE and drives, every option works fine unless I put another HD in the machine (yes i have tried more than one and get the same error)
My thoughts are that something in the Nvidia drivers is causeing this, as both times the machine has had the problem on the reboot that these drivers ask for. (I need to reinstall and not install these drivers and see what happens as I havn't yet)
Or
The MB is faulty
What do you guys think?

Well in one of those weird twists of PC hell I managed to fix it, and you wouldnt believe what it was!!
When I was setting up the machine I misread the jumper settings and removed the 200MHZ frb jumper. I realised what I'd done and replaced it. At that point the machine didnt boot, so I removed it again and the machine booted up once more (Had initially boot with the jumper on when i started)
I sat thinking about this and figured that it was the only 'unknown' because even though the machine worked I still felt the jumper should be on. So...
I changed the other jumper to safe mode (J12 i think it os) and put back the 133/166 mhz jumper and sure enough same problem. So I left it on, left the other on safe mode and reset the Bios.
I then changed the FSB to the correct 166 and viola! its been fine ever since!!!
Go figure, gotta love PC's

Need help with itunes/ipod ASAP

Hi All,
I was cleaning out some media files on my computer making some roome on hard drive and accidentally deleted my itunes back-up folder that had all our songs saved. How can I get theongs off my ipod back into itues. not all the songs were purchased some are off of cds. My husband had LOADS of songs on there as well as my daughter and myself. Please tell me there is a way to fix. Thanks in advance for your help.

I had a similar problem there is lots of free software, sorry cant remember the exact one I used, but start with typing "How do I transfer mucic from i-pod to pc" into google and that will set you in the right direction, it will basically allow you to drag the info back from your i-pod onto a specified location, it is a long process I had about 45 gig to do and in total it took about 16 hours to complete, however when you consider the alternative it is a no brainer really

My ipod touch will not leave restore mode(besides going into dfu mode), I tried everything I called apple and I went to the apple store. they said it would be $200 to replace and I dont feel like paying that. It turns on and everything but it will not leave that screen where it says connect to itunes. When I try to restore the ipod it goes all the way through but then it sayd "WAITING FOR IPOD". i left it on for 22 hours and it was still reading the same thing. It even happends when I enter DFU mode. I cannot use andthing els but itunes for some rease, I tried using Iphuc and stuff like that. I read all of apples troubleshooters.
dont tell me to reinstall itunes, how to put it in dfu mode or how to put it into recovery mode.. also I tried holding in shift and choosing a downloaded firmware. i have tried 3 firmwares but no luck..
or dont tell me to go to the apple store or call apple

Ok, seeing you haven't done a jailbreak. This is close to DFU... but not. Hold "Hold/Power+Home" until you see something looking the same as when you first got it. It will show the cord and then the iTunes icon and it will say something like "Connect to iTunes" (I think this is where your stuck, but just in case). Then, unplug your iPod, It might work.

Please help with iTunes download error -50

I have been never been able to download from iTunes and always get the unable to dowload error -50 message. I have seen people have this same question before on here and were able to fix it by adjusting their firewall settings, etc. I am not sure how to do that. I have Norton Internet Security and thought that may be conflicting with it as well. My computer is Windows XP SP2. Can anyone help me fix this? Any specific instructions would be helpful and much appreciated! Thanks!
