Please, how do I make it stop filing my songs in new folders!

This is driving me nuts. When I convert song files, iTunes insists on creating new folders, based on, I guess what it reads in the song file info? I don't know.
I have a mixed collection of songs that I put into one folder. iTunes breaks them up into separate folders, with new titles. I then have to them try to retrieve them manually and put them back in the folder I want them to be in.
Please help.

I'm excited to see some responses to my post. But I'm still lost and confused
I tried checking the "Keep iTunes Music Folder Organized," but it didn't help. iT still breaks up my folder full of song files and redistributes the files under newly created folders. For example: I have a folder I titled, "Latin-Mixed." In it are about ten songs by different groups. After iT made the conversions (in my case from MP3 to AAC) I found ten folders, each was named by the name of the group or artist, and in each was a song file, sometimes with a new title different from mine - like, mine was "01-Compay Segundo-Chan Chan." iTunes changed it to "Track 1." Sometimes the reverse occurs. All I had was a track number, but iT found the full song title and put it in (that part is a plus).
Right now, I am manually dragging each song back out of those individual folders and recreating my one folder (Latin-Mixed) and putting them in it, trashing all the folders iT made. What a pain.

Stop the updates. I told it not to update in the prefs, I reset everything I could find in about:config and it still updates. How do I make it stop.

Then I do not get your problem - you can import the photo - you can find the photo and you can edit and save the photo - what more do you want?
By defination thumbnails are small images to help you find the large image - the large image is fine and you can find it fine - and you know it is only showing part of the image because of the "jagged ends"
If you think think that iPhoto should display long thumbnails suggest to Apple - iPhoto menu ==> provide iPhoto Feedback
as to your digital photoframe - contact them - in general gital photos frames display one and only one aspect ratio and any photo that is not in that aspect ratio will be modified to display - either cropped to the proper size for the frame or have 'White" space added to fill the frame - that function is totally controled by the Digital Photo frame and any otptions you have will be in the manual or on the support web site for the frame - to put it in old film terms - you can not put an 8x10 print in a 5x7 frame unless you cut the photo down (or a 8x15 photo in an 8x10 frame either)

You can't using Adobe Reader. It looks like whomever created the form used the same identifiers (names) for various fields. Each field with the same name will populate with the information used in another field of the same name. This is intentional.
Normally when I see this, it tells me that someone created an initial field then copy/pasted it to make additional fields but forgot to change the names.

It sounds like your iPhones may be using a new feature in iOS 8 called Continuity. The following article and information explains how to set up this feature for phone calls. You can review the information on the setup to reverse this effect. My suggestion would be to turn off FaceTime on one of the devices.

With Continuity, you can make and receive cellular phone calls from your iPad, iPod touch, or Mac when your iPhone is on the same Wi-Fi network.
To make and receive phone calls, here's what you need:
Sign in to the same iCloud account on all your devices, including your Mac.
Your iPhone and your iPad or iPod touch need to use iOS 8 or later. Your Mac needs to use OS X Yosemite.
All devices must be on the same Wi-Fi network.
All devices must be signed in to FaceTime using the same iCloud account. This means any device that shares your Apple ID will get your phone calls. Look below for instructions on how to turn off iPhone cellular calls.
Wi-Fi Calling needs to be off. Go to Settings > Phone. If you see Wi-Fi Calling, turn it off.

If you get caught with a bounce that does not stop, Command . (period) should do the trick.

So it seems the issue is when iMovie is wanting to creat thumbnails, if I ask it to ignore then it's fine but if not it hangs up searching for the video file.

Try this.
Quit all apps completely and reboot the iPad. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

That is a bug with blocklisting plugins that has been fixed.<br />
You can correct this issue by forcing the file blocklist.xml to update or wait until Firefox updates the file.<br />
That update will remove the severity="0" flags in the file that cause the problem.
