Please, how do I resolve "The operation couldn't be completed. (NSURLErrorDomain error -1.)"
An up to date Air, w/ OSX 10.7.5, returns this error in "Iphoto" when attempting to share an image to facebook. Any suggestions? Thank you.

AnthonyI found the answer by looking over towards the right on this page...to the More Like This section.
The answer is that this indicates a server overload with Apple's App Store server. Give it some time and try again.

Unable to sign in with AppleID - "The operation couldn't be completed (CSIdentityErrorDomain error - 11.)"
Within the System Preferences, Users and Groups - when we attempt to sign into the notebook using any AppleID - we receive the following error message:

We have a Macbook Pro, MAC OS X Lion 10.7
This occurs whilst using any AppleID - we have tried two separate accounts.
I have created a new user profile, with administrator access, same fault occurs.
We can log in to iTunes on the notebook, the AppleID account registers and works OK.
No related articles with common Google search results.
I'm hoping to avoid a re install of the operating system if possible.

Only thing to do is to be patient, and try again later. -

It is a configuration issue. And yes it could all be "solved" with a simple 600MB direct download link in under 10 minutes. -
Time Machine and Iomega NAS - The operation couldn't be completed. Error 2
Hi - I sure hope someone is able to help?
I have just purchased an Iomega Storcenter IX2-200 4TB NAS device.
I have tried to use it as a TimeMachine device but when I select the TimeMachine disk from the preferences panel I receive the error 'The operation couldn’t be completed. (OSStatus error 2.)'
I have not created any users etc, the device is as it came out of the box. The TimeMachine disk automatically appeared in the Finder when I connected the IX2
Is there a 'special' userid/pw I should be using for the TimeMachine? When prompted for those details from the TM preferences I use admin/<password> and receive the above error - any other entry results in a message stating that the userid/password info is incorrect.
I don't want to return it because I see it as a useful device to back up my three Macs.
If anyone is able to help they will be my friend for life!!

Dave.The anwser is quite simple. Enter the Storcenter's configuration page en go to "settings", "Back up" and " Time Machine". When you configured the NAS correctly there is a + button roughly in the middle of the page.
Press this button and enter the name of the Mac and the ethernet/mac adress (this is the adress of the network adapter you use to connect to the network, something like aa.11.bb.22.cc.33, can be found on the advanced section of the networkadapter settings). Click "ok", log off and close the window. You can now configure time machine using the administrators name and password.
(sorry if the translation is a bit "foggy", I'm writing this with a Dutch version of the software...)

The operation couldn't be completed, OSStatus error -1
After leaving the Aperture app open for a day I get the above mentioned dialog box message and I need to force quit it. Once I started clicking on "OK" and it took 98 clicks to get the dialog boxes to finally disapear. Usually I don't have that much time. Internet works fine and Facebook works fine. Aperture version 3.4.3
What's going on?The OSStatus error -1 may indicate a network problem, even if your internet is working fine now. You may see these alert boxes, if Aperture cannot connect to Flickr or Facebook, when it awakes from sleep.
I'd disable the option "automatically check for newly published albums" in the "Web" preferences of Aperture.
This will prevent Aperture from trying to connect to Facebook, each time it wakes up. -

Two days ago I noticed a noise my MBP started to make all by itself, it started basically right after I changed the sync contacts option in iTunes for my iPhone to sync my contacts along with my gmail contacts. I've changed it back since then but it continues to make the noise and log file error entries are still posting. Below is my error log file for this issue from the first instance to the last one. tried serveral times ot set up find my phone, but all i get this this message "mobile me verification failed the operation couldn't be completed account error 500"

My Apple course instructor felt it would be smart to create all in iphoto dragging in all videos and photos to one spot.
I now get these errors and they wont play.
What is the error telling me and how do I fix it and get the video to play please??
Is it true iphoto will be replaced in this New Year and if so does anyoNo it didn't at all.
I went to the finder and saw several of the same .
When I called Apple they told me not to delete anything using the Finder… odd I thought, as that was the only way I could see the multiple videos and photos.
Do you think there is any harm in deleting from there directly if I have a good playable copy?

The clips/videos some are from iPhone 4.
I opened it manually and found 4 copies of most of the same videos, same names, some with slight variations. Don't know why.
Some are titled from iphoto /Masters don't know why that happened
Now I also have some clips with white dotted line on grey where the clip used to be? why would that occur??
In my finder there are now 97000 images. Yet I only have 22,000 in iphoto. Where are the rest located and why so many duplicates?
Have I checked a box somewhere and need to address that?

After i installed ios 7 in my iPhone 4s and I got problem to login into my icloud account.
There is a message appear and said "the operation couldn't be completed (com.apple.appleaccount error 403)"

Recreate Error: On a Iphone/Ipad device that has "already" created the maximum of 3 per device Apple limit of ICloud account creation attempt to create or login to ICloud service tab in Settings. You will be presented with "com.apple.appleaccount error 403" which does not tell the laymen anything useful.
Cause: IOS 7 reports a "best guess" error instead of detailed error explanation.
How To Resolve Error: Find a device that has not been used to create an ICloud account the maximum 3 times and use it to create the ICloud account by logging into the Settings/ICloud tab with the Apple ID you want a ICloud account created for.
Keep in mind this will use up one of the three lifetime allowed ICloud account creations allowed by Apple on that device.
Also per support: If an existing account is logged into the ICloud service. A. Backup phone using iTunes on a mac/pc. B. At bottome of Settings/ICloud Delete the account "AND" all the user date from the phone. It will offer the Delete all data option. The reason for Deletion(and is why we backed up on a pc vs. the cloud) is when you create the new ICloud account it will backup all of the Device owners information to the wrong persons account.
Once you have created the new ICloud account log into that account on device that was presenting error: "com.apple.appleaccount error 403" it should allow the ICloud login.
Once you have verified the "device with error" is ICloud functional delete the ICloud account from the device used to seed the ICloud account and delete again all user data from cloud. Restore the recently created mac/pc Itunes locally created backup to the phone and then go to Settings/ICloud and login with the device owners Apple ID and password and verify your backup to the ICloud settings and Eureka! your done.
It took less time to do that for me to type this lol.
