  • Please How can I put music on..

Please How can I put music on main menu of the dvd, so when it opens play the music while user in menu , and can be mp3 ?

    Hi:
Please How can I put music on main menu of the dvd, so when it opens play the music while user in menu
You must import your audio file and then drag and drop it in the Audio section in the Menu Inspector. For detailed info look in the USer Manual for the topic Adding Audio to a Menu in the Creating Menus Using the Standard Method chapter.
    and can be mp3 ?
You must convert the mp3 audio to AIFF or Dolby 2 (AC3) before importing. Allways try to use AC3 audio encoded with Compressor.
    Hope that helps !

  • HT1960 how to recover deleted music from ipod touch

how to recover deleted music from ipod touch?

This is not a complicated problem. And you can easilly solve it. Here is the way about how to recover music from iPod.
1 Connect your iPod to your computer to restore custom ringtones and ringtones saved to the computer.
2 Click the "iPod" button in iTunes, or select your iPod in the sidebar if you enabled the option to show the sidebar.
3 Select the "Tones" tab, check the box for each ringtone you want to transfer to your iPhone, and then click "Sync."
Sometimes a 3 party tool such as Data Recovery may help you in a easy way.

How to recover my Music that I put into the iCloud Match?  I had to reload my OS as my HD failed and my iTunes is empty.

If the music was purchased from iTunes you may download it again, if not you will have to get it from your backup (if you have one)

  • HT3819 I just bought my kids iPods.  How can we share music from my iTunes library without crossing over with text messages, etc?

I just bought my 3 kids iPods.  How can we share music from my iTunes library without crossing over with texts, apps, etc?

Create new IDs for each by:
Create a NEW account using these instructions. Make sure you follow the instructions. Many do not and if you do not you will not get the None option. You must use an email address that you have not used with Apple before.
Creating an iTunes Store, App Store, iBookstore, and Mac App Store account without a credit card
    Use that Id only for:
    - Settings>Messages>Send and receive and sign out your ID and sign into the new one. Make sure that only that ID email address is listed.
    - Settings>FaceTime sign out of your ID and sign into the new . Make sure that under You can be reached at only the new ID email address is listed
    - Settings>iCloud and sign out and sign in with the new one
Continue to the one one common ID for Settings>iTunes and App stores. That is what controls purchases.

  • I have an Apple MacBook Pro with 2 USB ports and a MiniDisplay Port. I also have an HDTV with a HDMI port. How can I use the TV as a display without any tethering wires between my computer and the TV?

I have an Apple MacBook Pro with 2 USB ports and a MiniDisplay Port. I also have an HDTV with a HDMI port. How can I use the TV as a display without any tethering wires between my computer and the TV? I have a MiniDisplay Port to VGA adapter, but there are two issues with it: The new display doesn't have a VGA port, and even if it did, I wouldn't want to have my mac constantly attached to the display by a cable. I was looking for a way to use the TV as a display without any wires. Is there some type of bluetooth setup I could use? Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

As I wrote above, I think you should look into the Apple TV yourself. The best place to find information about what it can and can't do and to ask your own specific questions is probably in the Apple TV forum, here:

  • Please, how I recover the bufferlist after a cleanbuffer?

    Hello.
Please, how we to recover the STMS list (the transport buffer list with their status column) after a buffer clean (cmd command tp cleanbuffer) ?
When we try to add a request already imported, these request appears in the buffer (STMS list) "ready for transport", but these request are already imported in the past.
Please, can you help us to re-create the tp buffer with the real status for the requests ?
    Thanks in advance.
    excepticons

Hello Vivek. Thanks for the reply.
We know find and view the transport logs for any request, via se01, se03, etc., and naturally, via os log files.
We need to have the old STMS queue before the "tp cleanbuffer" command, with the old status icons before the "tp cleanbuffer" command.
    Example:
    Old STMS queue:
Number  Request     Owner    Short Text                                 St
127  PPDK947557  COAROOS1 MM-INCLUSION CTA    (Icon for request already imported - green ok)
128  PPDK947561  COAROOS1 MM-INCLUSION BXS    (Icon for request waiting to be imported - green box).
But, in the new STMS queue, if we add the request PPDK947557, the status icon will be "waiting to be imported", but the request was already imported a few days ago.
This queue with the old icons can be recreated from the OS transport logs, or can we restore from a backup?
    Thanks.
    Gustavo.

  • Please what's te process to remove exclamation marks on I tunes library (music) Tks be4hand

I lost a lot of music from I tunes store on my computer, then on my I Pod after synchro as all those musics have an exclamation dot behind their title.
I don't see any solution anywhere about this problem. And I have not backup for some albums.
    Thanks a lot in advance.

hi, i'm having the same issue.
I followed itunes help and moved my entire library (20 gigs worth of stuff) to my lacie external hard drive. I opened up preferences and selected where I want itunes to find all my music, and itunes can't find any of my music. i'm having to manually select each song from my external hard drive right now, and that is taking FOREVER. I tried several different things, like consolidate library, and I tried messing around in itunes preferences, but nothing. any help would be greatly appreciated, as my macbook only has 60gb of space and i'd like to keep it as free as possible.
    thank you!

  • ITunes Library music has exclamation marks and cannot locate music

Hoping someone can offer some help?
My wife plugged our iPad into the macbook to sync it with iTunes. She isnt exactly sure what she did however now everything song in iTunes has an exclamation mark next to it.
I then went to sync the iPad without pluggin it into the mac and now my iTunes library seems to have just 5 songs in it and these do not have the exclamation mark next to them.
I do have an iPod with a recent update of all the music. Would this help to restore the library? and if so how would I do this.
    Thanks in advance.

If you're sure the media are gone then you can try to recover from your iPod.  Purchases you can likely download again from the iTunes Store.
Some of the information below has subsequently appeared in a document by turingtest2: Recovering your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device - https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3991
Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was planned with you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself properly backed up against loss. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchases which can be transferred to a computer.
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1848 - only purchases from iTunes Store
For transferring other items from an i-device to a computer you will have to use third party commercial software. Examples (check the web for others; this is not an exhaustive listing, nor do I have any idea if they are any good):
    - Expod (free) - http://www.headlightsoft.com/expod/ - Mac, universal for 104.+ (newer machines try de-Tune)

Syncing to a "New" Computer or replacing a "crashed" Hard Drive - https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3141 - dates from 2008 and some outdated information now.
Copying Content from your iPod to your Computer - The Definitive Guide - http://www.ilounge.com/index.php/articles/comments/copying-music-from-ipod-to-co mputer/ - Information about use in disk mode pertains only to older model iPods.

  • How to delete the tracks with exclamation marks?

I have just moved about 10 gigabytes of music I don't listen to off my hard disk to an external hard drive. This was to declutter my hard drive and get me down to about 50% free. Itunes now has all the moved tracks still listed with exclamation marks next to them all now. I want rid of these songs from my Itunes view. How can I get rid of these moved tracks now without manually deleting the batches. Annoying that exclamation mark field is not sortable or would be easy to mass delete.
Anyone got a neat solution out there?
    Thanks in advance.
    Lorne

Yes, but now you have lost all your regular playlists, ratings, play counts, last played dates, non-embedded artwork etc.
Hope you don't miss them. If you do it might be possible to restore an earlier version of your library file and then bring it up-to-date with the free scripts at Doug's site.
An all iTunes, no loss of data approach would have been as follows:
Create a playlist called Found, select everything in Music and drag it into the Found playlist. Create a smart playlist called Lost matching All the rules Playlist is Music and Playlist is not Found. Your lost tracks will be in this playlist. You can delete them all with a Command-A to select them and Option-Delete to remove them. You can then delete the Lost & Found playlists.
I normally recommend the scripts as being an easier way to do things that you may want to do again.

  • How to get rid of the exclamation mark

how do you get rid of the exclamation mark on a mac itunes set up...this is enuff to cause mass murder!!! geez nothing should ever be this hard.

You're not giving us much to work with in terms of diagnosing the cause.
An exclamation mark means iTunes cannot find the media file it has listed as being associated with the library entry you see in the iTunes window.  iTunes doesn't look at your file, it looks at a database of which files you should have.  When it does have a brief look then if you or the computer or your cat have done something to remove that file or cause iTunes to lose track of it, you get !   In a worse case scenario it isn't you who moved the file (you can always move it back), it is your hard drive dying and losing files in which case a missing iTunes file is the least of your worries.
    So:
Do you have a cat that walks on your keyboard?
Have you moved or renamed any files or folders remotely associated with iTunes?
Do you keep iTunes on an external drive?
Have you run Disk Utility and verified your hard drive recently?
Anything else you would like to share?
If it is just one ! then the easy solution is to reply "Yes" when iTunes asks if you want to locate the file.

  • How come my ipod5 has an exclamation mark on each wifi connection that is available to it

how come there is an exclamation mark on each respective wifi connection available?

Try the following to rule out a software problem:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Power off and then back on the router
    - Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
    - iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
    - Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
    - iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
    - Restore from backup. See:
    iOS: How to back up
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

  • How can I remove the first exchange server 2010 without any problems in DC

    Hi,
our actually exchange is running on windows server 2008R2 with exchange 2010. I already install & configured a second Exchange 2010 server in the same domain. I also moved every mailbox to the new server. Now I have to deactivate the first server and
I don't know, if I have to do something or can I deactivate the "old" server without any issues.

    Thanks,
    Mesut Uygun

    Hi MesutU,
When you remove first Exchange Server 2010 in your organization, please confirm finish following steps:

    3. Move OAB generation server
    4. Update SMTP flow from internet
    5. Update OWA/IMAP/POP/OA access from internet.
