8. Select the region where you are located.

Go back to the article you asked this question from and use the link to contact the iTunes Store staff in the 'Additional Information' section. If you don't already have a valid rescue email address, you can't reset the questions yourself, and nobody on these boards can reset them for you.
Setting up a rescue email address requires correctly answering two of the questions.

The page that you posted from tells you how to reset them if you can't remember your answers i.e. if you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then steps 1 to 5 on that page should let you reset them : go to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account, then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you should see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

When they've been reset (and if you don't already have a rescue email address) you can then use the steps half-way down the page that you posted from to add a rescue email address for potential future use

I want to use my iPad with a projector using apple tv. How do I homeshare if the iPad cannot access itunes when away from home?

I want to use my iPad to give presentations using Apple TV. How do I get the two to homeshare so that they "talk" to one another. Instructions say use iTunes but I am getting very confused over why this is necessary when all I want to do is link 2 pieces of equipment without having to use wi-fi.! Wi-fi won't be available at the locations where I have to give presentations. Help!

Thanks Dave. There is still a problem. The iPad will only stream to the projector whilst connected to Wi-fi. The icon disappears from "iPod" on the iPad (the only place it appears, not iTunes as the instructions say) once Wi-fi is disconnected. Only audio will stream, no icon appears in the drop-down menu to show that pictures will go over. The outcome of courrse is that, as it stands, the iPad cannot be used for presntations using Keynote, neither can it be used in a location without Wi-fi, which rather defeats the object of have having bought the equipment in the first place having been assured that with Apple TV it would be possible. Is there anything else I can try? I would add that I have downloaded any available updates to Apple TV. All itmes were bought 3 weeks ago so should be reasonably up to date anyway.

You can get your Security Questions reset by contacting iTunes Support at either of the two links below. Select the best options for your issue, or provide specific information. Let them know you are contacting them concerning Forgotten Security Questions. They will get back to you via your primary email address, usually within 24 hours. Once your Security Questions have been reset, you will be able to go in and reset your Rescue email address on your account:

On the ipad that you wish to change the ID:
You can Erase all content and settings - that returns it to the "out of box" condition.
OR
Settings - iCloud - Delete account (It will ask if you want to keep contacts, calendars etc).
Settings - Messages - Tap AppleID - Sign out
Settings - Facetime - Tap AppleID - Sign out
Settings - iTunes and App store, tap apple ID, sign out.

You cannot merge two Apple IDs. You can change some Apple IDs - not those ending in @mac.com or @me.com - please see:

You can also change the email address associated with an Apple ID at http://appleid.apple.com/ - this is the address you would be contacted at by Apple, and if it's defunct you should obviously change it. It doesn't matter if the ID itself takes the form of a defunct address as it's only a text string in the form of an email address.
http://appleid.apple.com/ isn't working at the time of writing but I would assume that this is (another) temporary glitch.

If someone gave me a WiFi iPad and I wanted a 3G model, I would not hesitate taking in for replacement. I've often received tools from friends and family and never have I had problems exchanging them (unopened) for the specific models I wanted.
