Intended for Windows Desktop section.  Skype crashes upon login and I get a "Skype has stopped working." message. It started after my Win7 computer got a BSOD while skyping someone. First time I uninstalled Skype and reinstalled which got it working. The second time trying to open it though the error came back and uninstalling/reinstalling is not working. I have uninstalled, deleted the Skype appdata folder, removed all of the Skype registry keys, restarted, then reinstalled only to get the same error. Below is the error message I keep getting in the Event Viewer. When you open Maps touch the search bar and on the resulting screen you'll see Favorites. Touch Favorites and in that resulting screen you'll see a Clear button at the top. Then click Done to return to the map.

    I am trying to launch the Essbase Integration Server Console. But, each time I try I am getting a an "Unhandled Win32 Exception occured in olapbldr.exe (6352)" I am running Windows XP SP2 plus updates and Hyperion BI v9.3.

    If you are installing Crystal Reports XI on Windows 2003 SP1 or Windows XP SP2, then I would suggest you to turn off DEP on your machine and then perform the steps mentioned above.
    I would like to share the following information for proper installation of Crystal Reports XI on Windows XP SP2 and Windows 2003 Server machines:
    Please note that DEP - Data Execution Prevention has been introduced in Windows 2003 SP1 and XP sp2. DEP prevents Crystal Reports from accessing the memory. By default DEP is turned on in W2K3/SP1 and XP/SP2. If the processor supports DEP, Crystal Reports will not run on these platforms. If DEP is not supported CR will run even on W2K3/SP1 and XP/SP2. Disabling DEP allows Crystal Reports to run in Windows 2003 Server with SP1 and XPu201D.
    I would suggest you to try the following steps:
    1. Log in as u2018Computer Administratoru2019
    2. Make sure that no anti-virus program or spy ware is running on your machine.
    3. Right click on u201CMy Computeru201D and select u201CPropertiesu201D.
    4. Click on u201CAdvancedu201D Tab and click on u201CSettingsu201D button in u201CPerformanceu201D frame.
    5. Click on u201CData Execution Preventionu201D tab. Click on the second option button.
    6. Click on u201CAddu201D button and select C:\Program Files\Business Objects\Crystal Reports 11\crw32.exe
    7. Click on u201COKu201D button.

    Just to check one possibility, the playlists in which you're having problems aren't Smart Playlists, are they? Smart Playlists can be identified by the purple icon with the "gear" symbol; manual playlists are blue with a note symbol. You can't manually rearrange items in a Smart Playlist.
    This may not be the case for you, but I wanted to eliminate that possibility before we look at other options.

    I don't know exactly what you've done or where you've been in the process, here are a couple of items that might help.  If not, and you have any more specifics of what's been happening, post back to see if someone can help.
    Here is an HP document about Updating Windows 8 to 8.1 to check to make sure you're not missing anything when you're updating.
    And here is a set of instructions from Microsoft to Update to Windows 8.1 from Windows 8.
    If you still have issues, perhaps the exact error message would help.

    Photos that were synced from your computer using iTunes can only be deleted by de-selecting them from the folder from where they were synced -  and then re-syncing.
    Connect the iPad to the computer and launch iTunes.
    Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.
    Click on the Photos Tab on the right.
    Uncheck all of the albums that you want to remove under the Sync Photos From heading
    Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes
    If you are using iTunes 11 and you can't see the sidebar go to View>Show Sidebar from the menu at the top.

    First go here - https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/ and login under the manage tab.  Check your information and be sure it is all correct.
    An AppleID is nothing more than an email address, so if you see another email address in the store, then someone has logged in with a different AppleID than yours.  Did you let someone else use your iPhone?

    TNee, did you notice that the discussion is 10 months old? Also, iOd devices like the iPod touch do not have a disk mode (enable disk us). That is for other iPods only.

    Have you tried changing the admin password in System Preferences > Users & Groups > Password   ??

    If a user account is deleted and the data for that account is not deleted, it is placed there. Yes, you can delete the files there.

    iTunes is not installing because its incompatible with your OS. When installing the correct version the new version will update the older version, there is no need to uninstall first.
    The last version of  iTunes compatible with OSX 10.4 is iTunes 9.2.1
