I am trying to hold on as long as I can... I was there in line when Palm Pre first came out for sprint and I love my phone but lately I feel like we are falling behind please give a glimmer of hope.... Send smoke signals..Do something to let us know to hold on becouse what coming will be big!!! New software?? New hardware??..I am one of the few left with a Pre in our company everyone has moved on to Iphone or Evo and now with the blackberry torch coming out I am gona become the last one standing.... Is the C40 Real??? What is it???
BTW Yesterday I went to bestbuy to get a case for my pre and I got the original Palm Leather Side Case $4.00 out of what looked like a small trash bin on the floor marked "Pre accessories 70% off" I also picked up an extra battery for $7 even though I got a great deal I was sad to see Palm pre stuff treated like it was worthless....

I agree, something’s got to be done. This is my third upgrade with palm. I started with a Treo way back when, got a Motorola Q (which I hated) and moved to a Centro when it became available. I loved it so much I swore I’d never own another phone that didn’t have a plam based operating system. Then I got the Pre Plus. I’ve had it for 8 months and am so upset. I was expecting to be able to do everything on it I could with my Centro and then some. The lady at Verizon promised me it would. She was wrong. I can’t do hardly any of the things I could with my Centro. Every time I try to download an application such as e reader or mobi I’m told this phone does not support the software format. My business requires me to access books in these formats. I could with no problem with my Centro. I also need to be able to create, edit, save and delete text documents, which I could do with no problem with my Centro. I called palm and was told I’d have to hook the phone up to my computer, do the work on my computer and then transfer it over. What’s the purpose of having a stand-alone device if I have to keep hooking it up to my computer to do anything with it? I can’t view videos on client’s web pages either and it's constently freezing. I have to take the battery out at least once a month (my husband's is once a week) to reset it. Every time I call Palm for help I feel like I’m either getting the run around or blown off. No one has been able to help me make my Pre do all the things I was told it was supposed to be able to do. It upsets me to think I have another 16 months with this phone before I can upgrade it. Palm used to be so amazing, however right now I'd be better off with a basic flip phone and a netbook. I never in my life thought I’d say this, but if Palm doesn’t come up with something soon I’m going to have to look into getting something with a Droid OS.

- Did you purchase the device from Apple or an authorized reseller? If not, then you were scammed.
- It means you bought a gray market phone that was replaced, reported lost, or reported stolen, then re-sold illegally. It has no warranty and Apple will not service it with an out of warranty replacement.
- If your phone was replaced, it was most likely refurbished.
- You cannot tell the difference between a refurbished phone and a new one.
- check your serial number if its starts with 5K then its refurbished model
Not true. All it does is identify it as 'service stock'. It may be refurbised, or it may be new. There is no way for you, or even someone at an Apple Store, to tell the difference.

If there is ever a hardware problem that requires service, you will most likely not be able to get it serviced or replaced by Apple.

Unfortuantely, you can only track the phone if you had set up iCloud and enabled Find My iPhone on it before it was lost or stolen. I don't believe there is anything that Apple can do to locate your phone either.

No app on the iPod is required.
- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected, on a computer browser go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.

I have a small problem, ever since I updated my adobe flash, every single time I load my web browser. Be it IE or Firefox or hell even Netzero's crap wb, it crashes the page I tried to open up.
I tried to find the flashplayer that was out prior to 10.2(whatever) but I can't seem to find it and am always redirected right to the newest one that has just come out.
I am at my wits end with this thing please someone help me out.

Go to C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash Open the Flash folder and post back all files listed. The NPSWF files you will need to Right click on and Open, then click on Properties to obtain the Version numbers.
Then using IE, go to Tools, Manage addons and find Shockwave Flash Object, make sure it's Installed, Enabled and the same version of Flash Player that you have Installed. Let me know.
Using FF, go to all plugins and make sure Shockwave Flash plugin is Installed and Enabled. Let me know.
Test both browsers here and you should see the Flash Player logo animation(RED F spin)

If you use adblock or adblock plus or any popup blocking software you may want to disable them since they block Flash Content.

There appears to be some server side issues going on at this point in time as you are not the only one with the problem. I would suggest trying again in a few hours, or tomorrow, and see if they are resolved at that point.

GUI crashes, Who ever met this problem before.

   Thank you in advance for all your replies.
      After a short while of usage the SAP GUI 6.40 crashes.
      This happens each and every time I use SAP APO.
      It is more frequent when I am working in SNP but it is also happening when working with other transactions.
      Who have had this issue before,   would you please tell me how solve it?

Is there a way to retrieve every email address from everyone who has ever sent me an email? Is there a file somewhere? I don't mind if I have to cut and paste them into my address book. I have never used my address book, which was not too smart.

there is no file but you can do it using Mail Scripts. http://homepage.mac.com/aamann/Mail_Scripts.html
It has a script to import addresses from selected emails into Address Book. select all emails in your inbox and use it.

You can do nothing if it's not online. With a passcode and iOS 7.1 (there is no 7.2) the device is uselss because it cannot be erased except by you.

Hacker violating my privacy even though I have security and have changed passwords several times. Who ever it is, they want me to know because they have the nerve to take control over this computer even when I am logged in. The cursor just starts moving.

Someone is stealing my private information and logging onto my computer at the same time that I am logged into it. The cursor moves by itself and they log me out of whatever page I am working on. I have security and have reported it to my internet provider.
I have spent so much money trying to keep them out of my system to no avail. I also attend school on line and this is a huge problem for me. This thief changes my internet picture right in front of me.
I have tried to report this to the police, but they are no help at all and this is not right. They need to at least try and see who it is.
What do you suggest, I really want to know who is doing this.

This could be done in many ways so it's quite hard to pin point what's going on and how it's done.
The first thing I would do is to reset the the router you have, creating a new password for loging on in case they have gained access this way, then create a new password for the wireless network if you are using it.
Then reinstall your computer, if they/you have installed some software and gotten a Trojan, the only way to get rid of it to 100% is to reinstall. There is no meaning in trying to find it and uninstalling it since it's gotten this far allready.
Depending on what router you have, you might be able to get the logs and see from where they are connecting and trying to pinpoint their location.
There are probably other ways to find out more, but if this happened to me, the first thing I would do is to get rid of the problem, ignoring who they are.
