Please, please help, aim problems
hey, i downloaded aol instant messenger for mac and stuff, and i can get on it but only for a few minutes, and then a message pops up that says "The application AIM quit unexpectedly. Mac OS X and other applications are not affected. Click Reopen to open the application again. Click Report to see more details or send a report to Apple."
and ive tried reporting it, and reopening it and the same thing keeps happening. i dont know if its something i did wrong while downloading it or i dont know. please help, thanks.
Unless you have a specific reason to use AIM, you should use iChat instead, as most of what the Mac OS X version of AIM can do is also possible with iChat. If you need to use AIM, avoid using the scroll wheel on a scroll wheel mouse or using your trackpad to scroll while AIM is in the front, as doing so often causes AIM to crash.

The other thing I could recommend
Let the battery run out and the phone completely "die"
It may take a day or two with it not being used
Then plug it in to charge and see if there is any change in behavior
If you cannot get this to work - you may need to bring it to an Apple store -

I suspect you really have a 2G iPod. Those can only go to iOS 4.2.1.

It sounds like you are unable to turn on Wi-Fi because the option is grayed out in Settings. Use these steps from the following article named:

I am using a iPhone 3GS Version 4.3.5. It restarts while voice communication. fine. After 5 to 7 mins it will make a restart randomly and after it restart. Can any help me please to fix this problem.........
try to press the sleep/wake button + home button at the same time and hold them until the apple logo appears. that should help.

Hi, I want to say sorry if my question is anywhere on this forum but i'm totally frustrated at the moment becaus i can't get my computer running for more then a couple of hours. Then everytime the computer "says" at start that he had to repair the registry and the next time i want to startup the computer "tells" me after the boot menu that he can't find userroot blablabla and i have to install windows again.

I have the raid volume set in C: 50000Mb and D: 170000Mb
c is where windows is installed and i wanted to use d for music and other files.
Just a moment ago i had 3 programs downloaded and wanted to install them and then the computer " told" me with all 3 programms that he was unaible to exe these files because files were missing or corrupt. After i made a restart the computer started scandisk and found all kinds of files ( many "orphan").
the computer also makes a "consistency test" at startup!
I'm really desperate, also in the shop were i bought the computer nobody knows what causes this problem. I have installed windows over 10 times now and checked all hardware!!! (can it be a memory problem????)

but first try/check the CLASSPATH & PATH variables in autoexec.bat in your c root directory, make sure that (PATH)they point to your jre/bin dir or your javaSDK/bin dir, and make sure CLASSPATH point to class files of java installion. Also, in Control Panel if installed make sure the java console applet handles the java code for your web browser and make sure that the Classpath & path that is in that java console applet points to the correct directories.

Ok one day out of the blue my ipod just stopped working it wouldnt turn on nothing but after recovering it, it's fine now but there is only one problem my screen wont work i can't do anything on it not even unlock it please someone help!!!!
Try the following:
- A reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod.
If you still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order
