Please please help, skype microphone doesnt work since i updated the software to ios 7.0.4
I use skype everyday to talk to my family, but since I updated the software to ios7.0.4, my microphone doesn't work.
I even did a full factory restore and still not working. I have searched the web but nothing helps!
Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. my ipod touch has been through a lot before this issue and the cameras have always worked. it wasn't until i updated the sotware on the ipod that the camera "shutters" haven't opened. at first i thought nothing of it because before when that would happen it was because there was not enough mempry to take photos or videos. i then proceded to delete some. but the shutters wouldn't open. i don't know what the problem is. i can open the app, and look at my pictures, but i just can't take any. memory is not the issue, so i haven't a clue what's wong. since then i've updated the software again but the camera still refuses to let me use it. i've tried switching between the two cameras and both don't work. can anybody help me? or is this an issue where i'd have to take it into an apple store?
Try:

- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

After updating my ipod touch to the 6.0 it wont work at all. It shows the apple and the flashes a page then it goes back to the apple.What should I do with it.
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order. -
My iphone 5s Bluetooth no longer works in my 2014 honda accord, ever since i updated the software two months ago. Can anyone help?
Problems with Bluetooth connections are generally traced back to the vehicle. If you search here in the forum you will find a number of posts with issues connecting with Honda vehicles. Try removing the phone from the vehicle's list of Bluetooth devices. Then try removing the vehicle from the iPhone's list of Bluetooth devices. Then place both devices back in discovery/pairing mode and try to connect them. You may need to take the device to the dealer to check for software updates.
Next, I understand it used to connect, however software updates for the iPhone will load the latest Bluetooth stack into the phone and vehicles do not always get updated as often. My young kids have ipads and since I updated the software, but they have their own icloud account, predictive text within their messages shows all my contacts from my iphone but the contacts are not listed as their contacts, how do I stop this?
I have deleted the iCloud account under my name on their iPads and replaced with their ones. Apple support said yesterday I needed to click the small 'I' by each name as it came up in the TO box and remove it. After doing rid for each contact under each letter of the alphabet it should remove them from latest contacts. Having done this, although I could not remove groups I had sent, I am not convinced they will not return once I have written a few texts, any ideas?

Steadyshot stabilization for video doesnt work since Lollipop update. HELP!
Where should I send information about SERIOUS issue of new Lollipop on XPERIA Z3? Since last update from Kitkat the SteadyShot stabilization for video doesnt work (intelligent mode works standard). Previously great videos are now shaky and simply ugly. Please SONY make something with that on next update. Probably Ill have to sell my Z3 if there will be no patch. Im filmaker who needs good video quality in his smartphone.

I tunes doesnt work since new update. shows in processes but no window displays.
Running windows 7 premium(it is a legit copy). it seems to me that every itunes update that i do,seems to make itunes NOT work on my computer. the only way for me to get it to work is to litterally reboot windows 7 on to my computer....ive dont this 4 times in the last 6 to 12 months. have to reset my computer completly just to get one file to work. im not doing that this time. i know its not my computer cuz everything runs perfect on my cpu but itunes. i dont care what update it is, this has always been my issue for as long as i can remember . i will click to run as administrator, i tried to netsh ....blah blah reset. i update my computer to all the new updates. i downloaded quicktime i did everything i can find on this support page as possible. im just getting tired of this. my computer will show as if its opening itunes and nothing comes up. ill sart task manager go to process and it shows as if itunes is running. but no window will show. to make things even more frustrating maybe 1 out 10 tries..literally 1 in 10 trys itunes will appear....after i have given up and just do my own thing itunes appears after an hour or so but just freezes. ... any one else having trouble like this or has solved this problem?
im tired of spending 2 hours to reboot my system and have to get my computer reset and another 2 hours to update and put all my files back on and even if i get itunes t owork i hate sitting here for another hour putting all my music in ths system and another hour for it to be uploaded to my ipod.....
itunes do your self a favor have your people that work on all itune updates, all so fine tune the windows version update!i think i figured it out.. these are the steps i took to getting itunes to work.
1. uninstall all things apple and itune related items off the computer
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1925 (use this file to find all items needing to be deleted and erased from recycling bin.) (also make sure you do this just as you turn your computer on this way you wont have to worry about exe. files that may not be allowed to delete.)
2. http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2363 (take these step and instead of deleting just one delete all the files you want no trace of itunes or apple on computer this includes quicktime)
3.(this step may not be necessary but defrag and disk clean up "C:/" defrager and disk clean up, when using disk cleanup clean all files so check everything off.
4. Now restart your computer once all files have been cleared and recycle bin has been empty.
5. before downloading any itunes go to E internet explore not mozilla or any other internet service just use E. go to tools. advance tabs scroll down this list to security. uncheck the box that says (check for server certificate revocation*)
6.check to make sure in this same location that (use ssl 3.0) and (use tls 1.0) ARE checked.
7. Mozilla fire fox maybe a better internet service than E its self. so if your using mozilla sorry dont. download itunes from E and do not save just run. install like necessary. when installing i turned off allow automated updates.. let it install.
Try it it out now. i hope this worked for you as it did for me!!!
2 day and some many hours trolling and looking for answered even called apple services for help and rthey kept sending me the same files ive read thousands of times.. so this like i said this is what i did mixing everything ive read together and it worked. -
A concern we've noticing since we have updated the lastest software... Our phone keep glitching and it's moving extremely slower than usual. I have the 4s and my kids have the newer phones 5c and the 5s. Is this a on going problem and if so when is it going to be fixed because this is terrible. Very disappointed customer. I was waiting on the newer iphone for myself but if apple can't get things straighten out with software I will have to consider your competitors. I have majority apple products and so far I am hating the issues I am having. Please fix soon. Thank you.

The screen is blank and wont turn on. i have tried turning it on/off and re connecting it to itunes but nothing is working ?!
Try a simple re-set. Hold power and home together for 20-30 seconds until you see the Apple logo.

I'm having trouble with imessage since I updated the software
My husband is receiving all of my imessages even though our phones are set to send/receive from the individual phone numbers. Does anyone else have this problem or know of a solution? He has the 4 and I have the 4S.
This can happen when you both use the same Apple ID for iMessage. To fix this you have two choices:
On one of the phones go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with a different ID. Note: you can still share the same ID for purchasing in Settings>iTunes & App Stores; or
On both phones go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and uncheck the email address(es) shown under "You can be reached by iMessage at". Also uncheck anyone else's phone number, if present. -

FaceTime and iMessages have stopped working since i updated to 7.0.3, saying there is a network error and to try again later. Have tried reinstalling Find my iPhone to see if it works. It doesn't for me. The message says "FaceTime (iMessage) Activation: Could not sign in. Please check your network connection and try again". My network is perfectly alright as I keep buying on the App Store. can u please help out???

Ever since I have updated my software to iOS 7, I cannot download anything from the AppStore app and I have tried resetting my password and updating ITunes, but nothing works! Also when I try to sink my mini with my iTunes account it says you cannot sync because the sync session failed to start.
It sounds like to me you're trying to sync using the computer.
Try these things and see if it helps before you try your next syncing session. If none of the things below work then you might consider trying to sync using iCloud only.
Try a Restart.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Resetting your settings
You can also try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered. You won't lose any data, but it takes time to enter all of the settings again.
Resetting your device

Or if this doesn't work and nobody else on the blog doesn't have a better idea you can contact Apple.
