Please point me to the forms 9.0.4.2 deployment guide

Hello, I found a deployment guide for forms 9.0.2 (B10170_1.pdf) dated 2002, but I'll be darned if I can find a more recent version. Is there an updated version for forms 9.0.4.2?
We will be deploying to OAS running on a SUN unix box.

OSX comes with Xcode. Install it and see what you think. You can write both Java and Objective-C. They both have a particular syntax that is quite different from VB. Try to use them to write a HelloWorld program and see what you think.
Apple has come a long way in integrating Java into their development environment. Still, it was designed around Objective-C, so that might be more of a "pure" MacOS X development experience.

i read the databack. and get a rs.
i want to take this data and put it into a document(namely pdf).
-so that it is not editable.
-so that i can preview the document before printing it
I would like to print the data on a template - if possible? can i use a word template?

Do you recall what version you had before, i.e., 6.0.1 or 3.6.22?
There's no easy way to peel off an update. You could reinstall an earlier version over what you have, but it might be faster to run a "portable" version of Firefox from a USB flash drive for those sites that are not compatible on an emergency basis.

Hi all and thank you so long for your help.
I have attended an "Invitation" thing presented by Nikon and Adobe yesterday. Adobe had a very clver guy there who worked so fast in his presentation, that it was impossible to neither take notes nor follow what he did to arive at a result. Can you please tell me what the following is called or where I can find a tutorial? (I don't know what it is called.) He had 2 group photos of people, In one picture, everything was OK except for two people who did not look at the camera. In the other photo, these 2 people looked at the camera but it had something else wrong with it; cannot remember what. He had the 2 layers "auto" ligned up and then painted through the faces of the 2 people facing the camera. what is that auto lign-up of the photo called? I know he had the photos each on a seperate layer, but that is all.
2nd tutorial/pointer: 2 Pictures of the same person, but different poses. I like the color of the shirt in picture 1 but not the pose. Picture 2's pose is 100% but I like the color of picture 1. How do I pick the color from picture 1 and "transform" it to picture 2?
Your help with these will be most welcome.

Shirts were complete different colours; 1 red and the other blue.
In that case a Hue/Saturation Layer set to the respective color region (possibly set with the Target Adjustment Tool) might have been used.
A Layer Mask may nonetheless help.

i could not understand ur prob. clearly. U run form from application server or just using oracle oc4J of oracle 10gDS in ur local machine? When u run ur form what kind of error u see?

I've been developing with AS2 for many years. I want to create an AS3 app for android and ios but am entirely confused about what tools i need to use. I bought Cs5 and started learning AS3. I am using Flash CS5 since that's what I am familer with (I am first, a designer). One of the biggest problems is that I can't figure out how to do a splash/loading screen for android with Flash. I read that Flex can do this. So..Am I supposed to develop my app with both flash and flex? or can I just use flash. The loading screen is very important. I don't want to have to buy flash builder just to make a loading screen. thanks for your help. I really need it!

Hmmm. Mail would have a preference to not have itself as the default email reader? Ah, but I have to set up Mail in order to get to its preferences. Tricky.
Let me explain further what I'm trying to do. I use a time-keeping and billing application that allows me to send an invoice (as a PDF attachment) from within the app. BUT, it only sends via Mail. My workaround at the moment, since I use Entourage, is to use the Print dialog box to save the invoice as a PDF and then attach the file to an Entourage email. This works just fine. Hopefully the developer will allow users to choose email application in the future.
But, while I was brainstorming this workaround, I saw that in the print dialog box, under the PDF button, is a Mail PDF function, which also uses Mail. So, I was thinking that if I could make something like that but that uses Entourage, it might save me a step, as the invoice is saved in the application for future access. I don't really need the PDF, except maybe to keep a copy of it with the rest of the job files for archiving.
So, I searched and found the file. It's called Mail PDF.workflow, and its icon shows it to be an automator document. I looked at the workflow in Automator, but it looks like it's one action. (On my computer it's in the main Library/PDF Services folder.) I just literally decided to look into Automator today (although have known about it), so I really have no idea what I'm getting into.
So, I think this may be too much for me, but I know there are other people out there who prefer non-Mail applications, so I figured I'd come here and ask you nice people to point me in the right direction.

I really want to learn how to program a basic form - Name, email, and message. I know how to create the
webpage that has the boxes you type in using dreamweaver. But i need a little direction to get past that point.
Here are my questions:
1) What programming language is easiest to learn that will allow me to finish my email form?
2) Do you know of any web resources that i can go to to help me get started with that programming language?

You can program lots of things and make modifications to existing scripts as well. Typically most people work a lot with information in databases and use a language like PHP to process the information and print it into HTML. For instance, if you want to keep printing results from mySQL as a table you would make a loop in PHP to keep printing:
<tr><td>$row['var1']</td><td>$row['var2']</td></tr>
For each row of results. That is a very simplified version that wouldn't work without other coding so it's just an example. I have a SoundBlaster Li've! 5. soundcard installed in my pc. My pc crashed and a new hard disk was required. I do not have the CD that came with the card,?I have managed to ?download Li'veDrvPack.exe, all be it from DriverGuide.com as i cannot find the file anywhere on this site. Every time I run the .exe file I get the following error message;?Setup could not detect any SoundBlaster Audio card on your system. Please ensure the your SoundBlaster hardware is properly installed before running this Setup program. Setup will now exit. I have checked in my Device list and there is an item marked as driver not installed with the label 'Multimedia Audio Controller'. The card is being recognised by Bill Gates' wonderful OS. I am getting towards the end of my tether with this and ready to launch the whole f***ing thing out of the window.... :-s?PLEASE, SOMEBODY HELP ME..

You can download the CD for the Li've 5. from [url="http://badboy.hub.io/">here[/url]. Look in the Audigy & Li've section. Which download you want depends on your model number. If you get a similar error when you install from the CD, run ctzapxx.exe in the /audio/driver subdirectory on the CD and select "overwrite existing..." (or similar phrasing).

I didn't see a specific topic regarding delivering FLV
content with a standard Web server. So I thought I'd ask WHICH area
I should post my question to, first?
In short, I have an FLV/SWF which plays in the Flash Test
section fine, but does not play in IE or Firefox. Flash player is
loaded, but no content. I did have it "semi" working at one point,
but it wasn't consistent.

Divs? Please point me in the right direction

OK, I really need for someone to point me to either a good tutorial, website, or book that will help me learn how to work with divs. I just need a good guide, so I can build in a more current way.
And I could also use a good place to learn to use CSS correctly. Seems no matter how I try, I can't seem to keep my CSS from becoming a mess.

You'll need to take a bit of time to read through the step by step instructions BUT it will be time well spent. What you learn you can then begin to apply and modify to suit your own requirements
Once you become accustomed to using <divs> and css you'll wonder why you found it so difficult to grasp in the first instance. It takes time and patience but the effort is worth while if youre serious about web developement.

Hi, Our salesperson sold an application that will take demographic person info out of SAP (ECC6.0) , insert into another HR product, then take the benefits information and import it back into SAP on a regular basis. I asked for a file specification, but got a mulit-tabbed Excel spreadsheet that has a macro that seems to export the contents into txt files (one for each tab - 0167, 0168 etc..) Problem is, I have no other technical information for importing, such as required fields, max length, format, etc... Just field names and some "possible value" examples for about 1/4 of them. I have slightly better specs for the other end. I can't seem to get the client to understand that they need to help with mapping not only fields, but value transformations (codes...) between the two systems. Sorry, I don't know what EXHREQ (just an example) means..... They've also sent me some export from SAP information, but the document mentions import - though I did recieve a sample from them, so I'm assuming import/export is the same spec? I also am not sure of some of the structure - SAP seems to regard dependents as Persons, with their own person record, yet the other system's input spec doesn't seem to allow for that - it looks like straight employee only information.
OK, after all that venting - can someone point me towards some file specs for benefit information? I've searched and searched and see references to IDocs and such, and other things that scare the heck out of me, but are there just plain old file specs? Can this be done?

Basically, you just need to copy all and paste in place in a new site's Master page. To deselect menu from selection, just Shift + Click on it or delete it from the target page after paste.

As it Stands it is not solved and I have to use a Differant phone to recieve Calls

Almost as bad as the one from Samsung they send the phone back and say it passes all tests.
So I do my test
1. Activate it
2. Call it to see if it rings it Does
3. don't Install any app's
4. let the phone set do not touch it for 1 - 1 1/2 hours
5. Call it and see if it rings
I have never had it ring when testing it this way
So How is this fixed

Hey Wardcst24, do you know what it means when one of these threads is marked "resolved"? I've noticed you complaining about it a lot, but haven't seen you ever state that you know what it means. Because my understanding is that it is an internal note to Verizon mods and employees that they don't need to post on a thread because the correct answer has been given at that time, NOT that they're going to stop working on something. So if someone says "look we know it's a problem and we're working on solving it but we don't know how long it will take" that's considered an answer and a flag that they don't need to say anything else if the anwer is going to be the same again. Therefore it doesn't make sense for a rep to keep posting the same thing on each thread and risk being accused of copy/paste as I've also seen you do on these boards. I mean how many times do you need to hear the answer we don't know yet, right?
My advice is to try to remember that Verizon is the retailer of phones not the maker. If you're going to take out your frustrations on some rep do it over something that Verizon controls which is their network. Try to remember that no one intentionally makes a product with errors because that's bad business. Try to remember that sometimes things take a long time to fix.

I need to completely remove WebRoot from my Macbook Air and cannot. Please point me in the right direction

I have purchased another security system for my Mackbook Air and my required PC. I now cannot remove Webroot security from my Mac. It responds to me that I do not have "the authority.....", cannot because "it is in use elsewhere", etc. I am using Finder and when I ask to move the application, Finder asks me for my authority password and acts like it is doing the job, but up pops the reason (above) why I can't. I'm not an experienced user of the Mac product but like it a lot. Hopefully, someone can give me a hint. Thanks in advance!

Any third-party software that doesn't install by drag-and-drop into the Applications folder, and uninstall by drag-and-drop to the Trash, is a system modification.
Whenever you remove system modifications, they must be removed completely, and the only way to do that is to use the uninstallation tool, if any, provided by the developers, or to follow their instructions. If the software has been incompletely removed, you may have to re-download or even reinstall it in order to finish the job.
Here are some general guidelines. Suppose you want to remove something called “BrickYourMac.” First, consult the product's Help menu, if there is one, for instructions. Finding none there, look on the developer's website, say www.brickyourmac.com. (That may not be the actual name of the site; if necessary, search the Web for the product name.) If you don’t find anything on the website or in your search, contact the developer. While you're waiting for a response, download BrickYourMac.dmg and open it. There may be an application in there such as “Uninstall BrickYourMac.” If not, open “BrickYourMac.pkg” and look for an Uninstall button.
You may have to log out or reboot in order to complete an uninstallation.
If you can’t remove software in any other way, you’ll have to erase your boot volume and perform a clean reinstallation of OS X. Never install any third-party software unless you're sure you know how to uninstall it; otherwise you may create problems that are very hard to solve.
Trying to remove complex system modifications by hunting for files by name often will not work and may make the problem worse. The same goes for "utilities" that purport to remove software.
