Please re-post the Help links!!!!!
Please re-post the 3 Help links that were at the top of the forum until recently. This is essential information and should appear permernantly. Why was it taken down?
There is still a problem, If you start at
http://forums.adobe.com/community/dps
and open a post
then use
Adobe Forums > Digital Publishing Suite > Discussions
you might expect to go back to
http://forums.adobe.com/community/dps
but this is not the case
So where is the link back to it when you are on a Discussion topic?

If I set Firefox as my default web browser, the help links on Adobe Dreamweaver and Flash's welcome screens don't connect to the help pages on Adobe's site. It just links to Firefox's start page and stops. The links work properly if Safari is set to the default browser. Please help.

The Help Link from the Application Pages Does not Work for Peoplesoft Campus Solutions 9.0
Hi everyone.
I have a problem, I have been trying to set up the Help Link from the Application Pages for Peoplesoft Campus Solutions 9.0 according to the instructions given in the Document: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E17566_01/epm91pbr0/eng/psbooks/EnablingtheHelpLinkfromApplicationPages.pdf , (referenced in the Doc ID 1289101.1, E-PB: How to Set Up the Context Sensitive Help with Hosted PeopleBooks using Universal Linking).
I follow the instructions of that document carefully:
I go to: PeopleTools -> Web Profile -> Web Profile Configuration
2. Then I choose the Web Profile: "Development".
3. Then Change the value for the Help URL field by entering the following URL format: http://www.oracle.com/pls/topic/lookup?id=%CONTEXT_ID%&ctx=hrcs90r5 , the ctx parameter selected is the one that correspond to the Campus Solutions (hrcs90r5) according to the Product Line Code Table (ULinkID) especified in the mentioned document.
4. Stop the Web Domain and Clear cache.
5. Start the Web Domain again.
After setting up the Web Profile Configuration I test the help links, thas is why I click in the Help link in any Peoplesoft CS 9.0 Application Page (modify a person), but the next error message appears: "We're sorry, the topic you requested was not found.".
I tried many combinations with the ctx parameters URL but it does not work yet.
I did the same test, but this time using the Help URL field with a HRMS ctx parameter by entering the following URL format: http://www.oracle.com/pls/topic/lookup?id=%CONTEXT_ID%&ctx=hcm92pbr5 , and It works fine !!!
According to the previous test you realize that It works with HRMS ctx parameter but not with Campus Solutions 9.0 ctx parameter, Does anybody know what else can I do ? Am I doing anything wrong or missing? or maybe the Oracle's ctx parameter for Campus Solutions URL It is broken simply.
Thanks for you help and feedback.2799444 - The page you are testing with appears to be a Workforce Administration page. Is that correct?
The CS PeopleBooks would only work for CS pages, e.g.: try navigating to Main Menu > Campus Community > Personal Information > Add/Update a Person
Also, you can use multiple ctx parameters:
E.g.: http://www.oracle.com/pls/topic/lookup?id=%CONTEXT_ID%&ctx=hrcs90r5&ctx=hcm92pbr5&ctx=pt852pbh2
This way the help would work for the HR related pages like Workforce Administration, Campus Solutions pages like Campus Community and also PeopleTools pages like Web Profile Configuration. Hope this clarifies your question. Thanks! -

Customizing the Help link in Portal Masthead
Customizing the Help Link in Portal Masthead is easy.
But what if we need to point that help link to another site that is require a user to logon? Is there any way we can have the other site to bypass the logon screen?
But than how will it check the logon credentials?Hi,
you can use the user mapping functionality of the portal.
- Create an HTTP system in the portal and configure the user logon part.
- Define the user mapping per use in the user administration or let the user do it (personalization).
- Create an URL iView for that system.
- Configure the Help link of the masthead to use this URL iView.
When the user clicks the help link, the portal will use the URL iView and use the user mapping SSO mechanism.

Remove or configure the help link
Is there a way to remove the "help" link in the top right corner of OBIEE? The customer does not want it there as it leads to Oracles documentation page that is not in the language they want it. It would enough if I can prevent it from being displayed when the end user view a dashboard or if I just could reconfigure it to lead to a custom page. Any suggestions?
Running latest version OBIEE.Take a look at these threads. They have info for both 10g and 11g.

Need to have the help link at my custom pages
Hi All,
I want to have the help link in my few custom page's . Can anyone help me on this ...
Regards
Karandeep SinghKeerthi,
Thanks for your update .
But my requirement was to create the help link on all the custom pages as it is appering in all standard pages .
For standard pages they have attached the standard function with standard menu (ICX_GLOBAL_MENU) due to which help is appearing in all the standard pages but if we want to have the help link on custom pages then we have to manually set the page layout property "Help Target" of all the custom pages .
It worked for me and issue is resolved now.

How to remove the help link button on EP7.0?
We have a need to remove (or hide) the "help" button on EP7.0.
We have tried different ways but no success.
Would you please help? Thanks a lot! Thanks!
Do you have a way to hide/remove the help button on the ITS which renders SAP transaction?
May I explain more:
We use ITS to access some R/3 t-codes.
Some R3 transactions have a "help" button which is not wanted or desired.
Could you tell how to remove or hide it?
Thanks! -
Where can I find the "help links" on the default Firefox homepage?
There are usually links below the search bar on the default Firefox homepage. For example, currently mine says:
"Our thoughts are with those in the Philippines affected by Typhoon Haiyan. Please join Mozillians around the world in making a donation to the Red Cross. Our thoughts are with those in the Philippines affected by Typhoon Haiyan. Please join Mozillians around the world in making a donation to the Red Cross."
I was wondering if it was possible to find a list of past links displayed on the homepage. There was one a few weeks about "my internet identity" (or something of the sort), and I wanted to see it... but it's obviously not there now.
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!I don't know whether anyone is keeping a history of these home page "snippets". I mean, someone, somewhere probably has an archive, but I didn't find one in a web search.

Rename the portal Help link in the portal
I need to rename the help link in the portal masthead to some other name. Is there any option to change with out import the masthead par fil in to NWDS and hardcoding the help link name.
Hi Bris ,
you can do that ...open the Default Framework
Which is available at
Navigate to Content admin> Portal Content -> Portal User ->Standard Portal User
Refer to this also
MastHead Change & Portal Desktop
Now open the masthead from tyhe framework https://weblogs.sdn.sap.com/weblogs/images/251750294/framework_laout.jpg , there in the properties you will find an entry called as help link , change it over there it works fine .I have tested that for any issues please let me know
Thanx
