Please recommend an App to make my own folder

Hi,
I would like to make some of my own folders with symbols or pictures on them like the "Music" and "Movies" folders are. I would really like to make game folders w/ little pix of the game icons on them or something like that.
Could some one recommend a program to do this please? --Hopefully a free program
Just FYI...I do have Adobe Photoshop 7.

Since you have Photoshop, you could try the directions in Alan Graham's article "Creating Photorealistic Icons for Mac OS X."
I've personally used Iconeer to generate icons from artwork I created in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. It's not free, but you can try it for free to see if you like it. Icons you create using the free trial bear the word "Demo" on the icon. Purchasing a license removes this.
You can investigate other solutions by searching MacUpdate or Version Tracker. The user-submitted reviews accompanying the listings are helpful in sorting the wheat from the chaff.
Another option is to simply find icon collections you like and employ those for your personal use instead of creating your own. This Google search lists a variety of sites that have Mac OS X icon collections or links to such.
Good starting points in the icon hunt include:
- ResExcellence: good catch-all site for icon collections.
- Icon Factory - free icon collections.
- MacMonkies - ditto.
Once you've found icons you like, apply them using the instructions in "Mac OS X 10.4 Help: Changing the icon of a file or folder.”.

Please recommend GPS App for Tour

Hello, I have Verizon Wireless and would like to purchase a GPS for my BlackBerry Tour. I see that there are a lot of different options. I simply want a GPS that works like a Garmin, where it displays the streets and has a voice that tells me when to turn. I do have GPS activated on the phone so I just need an App that works with it other than Google Maps. I tried a couple of free GPS apps and they sucked so I know that I have to pay if I want a good app. Please recommend me such a GPS app. Thank you.

This is not much of a solution, but if you switch to Sprint, they give you a free GPS application that works just like your Magellan/Garmin/etc.
I would quite literally be lost without my Sprint Maps

Would somebody please recommend a good personal budget app for me?

I have researched this quite a bit and even made up my own budget, but I'm looking for something that I can control myself, is easy to use and that is flexible enough for me to add as many different items or categories as needed. It would also be helpful if it has columns and keeps the columns neat and straight. What I'm using right now does not do that and can be problematic. Please recommend something simple for recording cash flow and expenses in a real easy manner.

I need digital outs so I can plug in the signal from my pre-amp, use the A/D convertors on the Audio Interface to make it digital, then send it to my Mac using the best possible means. If I lacked the digital outs, there would be no point in having the thing, as I would only be using the A/D convertors in my Mac anyway!
I was looking at the Hercules 16/24 FW Audio Interface. It seems to do everything I need (plus more), and I can get it for £200. - Does anyone have experience of this Interface? - Is it any good?

You can only update the iPad to iOS 5.1.1and you cannot go any higher. If you never updated that high, you can do so by using iTunes on your computer. You will have to connect the iPad to your computer with the cable and launch iTunes
You can read more here. Make sure that you read the section about using iTunes. The article starts off with using the Settings on the iPad for WiFi updates. That only works with the iPad 2 and higher that is already running iOS 5.

You are NOT allowed to assume or take over or merge the previous Owner's Apple ID Account with yours. The Apps and media that that Owner bought in the Mac Store and iTunes Store were solely for his use and CANNOT under the Terms of Use for Apple be transferred to or used by anyone else. You'll have to purchase new anything you want to use from the Store. And you will Not be able to Update any Apple Apps he left on the Mac. Sorry, but those are the rules.

You don't need to worry about apps. You can continue to share the same ID for the iTunes and App stores but in order to create a new iCloud account you will need to use a different ID (it doesn't need to be the same as your iTunes ID).
To migrate your phone to your own account, if you have any photos in photo stream that you want to save on your phone, open your my photo stream album and save them to the camera roll by tapping Edit, then tap all the photos you want to save, tap Share and tap Save to Camera Roll.
Once this is done, go to Settings>iCloud, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. (This will only delete the account from this phone, not from iCloud. Your sister's phone will not be effected by this.) When prompted about what to do with the iCloud data, be sure to select Keep On My iPhone. Next, set up your new iCloud account using a different Apple ID (if you don't have one, tap Get a Free Apple ID at the bottom). Then turn iCloud data syncing for contacts, etc. back to On, and when prompted about merging with iCloud, choose Merge. This will upload the data to the new account.
Once your phone is on its own account, you can go to icloud.com on your computer, sign into your account and manually delete any of your sister's data from your account. She can also delete any of your data from her account.

Looking for new All in One. Is Officejet as good as Photosmart? Please recommend an All in One.

I have the HP Photosmart C7180 All in One that's a few years old and is starting to give me a lot of errors (mostly ink level errors). I'm thinking about replacing it, because I want one that doesn't use as much ink -- and one that has a bigger scanner bed (at least 11 x 14 or bigger). I'm a budding artist and I want to have the ability to scan in my drawings.
However, I do print a few photos now and then. Does anyone know if Officejets will print decent pictures?
Please recommend an All in One (the newer the better) for my needs.

If you're willing to take time and effort into the process, HP's MFDs and Brother's MFDs work... mostly. HP has even improved their drivers. It took 'em long enough.
No, I repeat, no MFD I've ever seen has been trouble-free, Mac or Windows. That includes Epson, Canon, HP, Brother, and (ugggh!) Lexmark devices. They all give problems. Not necessarily the same problems, but problems. HPs and Brothers give the least trouble with Epson a close third... but YMMV. I know people who swear by Canon, while in my personal experience Canon devices have been... not so good. But it was a limited sample, and maybe I had lemons.
Most MFDs (that is, everyone but Brother) don't easily do networking unless it's a Specific Feature™. My HP PSC1350, for instance, does not believe that such a thing as a network exists, and is that way if connected to Macs or Windows machines. I can make it visible over the network, but it's a pain.
If you want wireless network printing, get a wireless router (hint: Apple sells something called an AirPort Base Station) or access point which has a USB port and supports putting printers on the network. Note that you'll likely not be able to scan over the network.
There are network MFDs; HP makes some. They're expensive. The OfficeJet 74xx is $500, and it's the cheap HP network MFD. I do NOT own one, so I have no idea how well they work, other than they're HPs... which means that the hardware will probably be excellent, and the software dreck.
