Please recommend: iTune Songs Ideal for Silent Ringtones on iPhone

I desperately need a "silent" ringtone on my iPhone so I can block this stupid call center in Turkey that calls me 5 times a day (including once at 5 AM - normally I would remember to silence my phone before going to bed, but occasionally I might forget). I have asked them several times to remove me from their call list. It would stop for a few days and then would come back again.
(Believe me - I am indeed aware of the national Do Not Call registry, but that's not 100% effective.)
I just need a few seconds of perfect silence to make a ringtone and assign all the known frequent telemarketers to that - does anyone know of a good song from the iTunes Music Store which could be perfect for this purpose?
The best I could think of is Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 6 "Pathetique," which has a 15 sec or so of silence, but iTMS requires me to buy the entire work (for $3.96). I already have several versions of Pathetique, and definitely don't want to make myself even more pathetic for paying $5 to iTMS for just a few seconds of silence.

I just did a quick search on iTunes for "silence" then sorted those by length. You'll find a couple near the top that should do the trick.

I realise there have been a number of threads like this now that I have started looking, the problem is the back-ups i made were saved to a server network which has now also gone down, a case of dreadful luck really. Is there any other way to get the music back?

Quicken for Mac 2007 works just fine (and is said to be compatible with Mavericks). It is often denounced for not being "modern", but when something works, and does everything I want, I need a good reason to switch.
A few years ago (2011), I got that reason when I upgraded OSX and Quicken stopped working due to the absence of Rosetta. I switched to iBank. I used it for more than a year. It was cumbersome, they have no sense of a helpful user interface, but it "works". I found ONE feature that I liked: you can attach an image (or any file) to a register entry, so I can save receipts right with the register.
But when Intuit came out with the revised Quicken 2007 for Mountain Lion, I gladly went back. I found that being able to update stock prices right in the portfolio view (for those not automatically found online) was handy - in iBank you have to generate a report to see the holdings, and then you have to switch to a view of "Securities" then scroll down through that list to find your stock, then "edit" then change the price, then "Save" then go back to reports and re-generate the portfolio view. Also, if you enter a stock purchase in a Quicken register, the price you paid gets added to the price history for the stock (as of the date of the transaction). No such help in iBank. Most of the helpful UI features (like increasing the date with the + key) are glaringly missing in iBank. I find I am getting no more than about 3-4 keystrokes before having to move the mouse and click.
If you are considering sharing the app on an iPad, Quicken won't work, but I found that iBank for iPad doesn't work either. The interface is completely different from the Mac version, you can't do much with it, and if you have a stock whose price is $11.25 / share and sell 200 shares, you might find that $22.50 gets added to your cash in the account. (I actually made a few million dollars when it decided that 200 shares at $11.25 yielded $2,250,000.) Luckly, I received a refund for that app.
Depending on how the Mavericks switch goes, I hope to be able to stick with Quicken, but I am keeping my records up-to-date in both now, because I can live with iBank. I will just have to keep an eye on its arithmetic.

Can any of you loving pismo owners please recommend a good sleeve for our beloved pismos. I'm looking for one that would fit the pismo pretty much like a glove, so it won't slide and then I can put the pismo in an another bag.

I bought a perfect sleeve for mine from Timbuktu. This was a few years ago and I'm not sure they carry it anymore (look on eBay?). I see that the manufacturer makes other sleeves that look nice, too, now. Mine fits the laptop like a glove. It's open at the top with two cloth-padded handles and a strap that snaps into place over the middle of the opening. The padding is nice and thick -- about 1/2." I lugged it in my backpack all around Europe for a summer and it came through just fine.

Why don't apple give iTunes song download for free, at least few of the song

Apple don't give free iTunes song download or bluetooth sharing. I am also an iPhone user and don't have a option to share my songs photos etc to others who are not using iPhone. I prefer free iTunes song download.

Why should they give you things for free? How many other stores do you walk into that give you things for free? Apple has to pay the artists and record companies for those songs, so Apple therefore has to charge you for them, just as in the case with any store. Apple does in some countries offer a free "song of the week". Look to the bottom of the iTunes Store for the "free on iTunes" button.
As to sharing songs with others, that's illegal, just as it would be if you made a copy of a CD and gave it away. There are third-party apps in the iTunes Store that do allow some limited sharing of files such as photos via Bluetooth with other iPhones, so you might do a search of the iTunes Store for "bluetooth" and see what comes up. If you want to share with others not using iPhones, you'll need to look to some other service such as Dropbox, Flickr, etc.

Existing iTunes songs won't transfer to my iPhone 5

Context: iTunes 11.1.3 (8), iPhone 5 running iOS 7.0.4, Mac Mini running 10.9.1.
Some songs in my library purchased originally from iTunes won't transfer manually to my iPhone 5 manually. I get an error message stating that the song's format is wrong. These are songs that I've transferred to my iPhone(s) in the past without a problem.
The problem seems to be related to clicking and dragging a number of songs simultaneously. Occasionally, one or more of the batch won't transfer successfully and yields the error message about the format being wrong.
If I click and drag each rejected song from my library to my iPhone, usually the song will transfer. It may take one or two tries to make this happen successfully.
The rejected songs are in different formats (protected AAC, purchased AAC). I haven't figured out a pattern for why some songs are not transferrable without special effort.
This is unique to the current version of iTunes and iOS 7. I've never seen this happen before.
Any ideas for a fix/workaround?

What computer OS are you using? Do you have the latest version of iTunes (v11.1)? There has got to be a reason for the disconnect in the music syncing. I would recommend resetting the sync history. If you are in Windows, go to Edit, Preferences, Devices, and there is a button there. Now, with the phone connected to iTunes and the phone selected in the Device pane, you go to the Summary page and down towards the bottom of the page, there is a Reset Warnings box. After doing that, try to sync music again. If there is a problem, with the warnings reset, it should show up if there is one.

"Current Song" Ideal for Update

I wasn't sure where to post this but for the future updates of itunes I think it'd be a good option to include to have the current song playing listed on the top dock bar (where File,Edit etc. are) It would be cool if it stayed up there on all windows (like how the battery meter for the macbooks does) but it would be just as helpful to have on only the itunes one. Because I like to minimize my windows a lot and in order to see what the song title is that is playing currently I have to go click it all the time and that can get annoying after a while. where as if it was on the top dock I could just command+tab to the itunes program and see it (this wont bring up any windows for the program that you "highlight" that you have minimized so it currently is useless for minimized programs)

Do you know about the Zoom command for your iTunes window? It's in the Window menu, and creates a tiny iTunes controller that displays the currently playing track.

I have several PERL programs that I need to translate in to JAVA for performance reasons. Those programs heavily use Regular Expressions. I have an excellent knowledge about PERL Regular Expressions but know very little about Java Regular Expressions.

Since you know regexs, the java.util.regex.Pattern class API is probably all you need, it pretty thoroughly documents Java's flavor, and the differences from PERL's flavor.

Basically there are no viruses for Mac, so if there is malware. To get rid of this problemI recommend MacScan.
On the other hand, I recommend that you install software you do not use, in which case you want to install to test and then remove it, use AppZaper this app application completely eliminates the documents while away.

Well if I understand you correctly you want to be able to hear your TV through your computer speakers...
if so: Soundblaster Li've 5. or Soundblaster 24bit (which I think is being replaced by Audigy SE for the same great price).
These 2 cards worked perfectly for me as far as doing something simple as that. Other than those anything with at least a LINE IN function should do the job nicely if your under a budget.
IF YOU WISH TO HEAR YOUR COMPUTER THROUGH YOUR TV SPEAKERS. (Which I think is kinda unusual but hey its possible.)
Then really any soundcard will work just fine IMO. You just need to have a LINE IN/AUX (with stereo) capability built on your TV. They are usually RCA plugs that are red and white. The only accessorie that you would need to buy is a
MALE stereo headphone jack and 2 female stereo RCA Plugs known as a Y connector (it is now commonly seen as a IPOD accessorie one end plugs in the headphone inputs and the other goes on the AUX of a stereo). Greetings. I am trying to get my iMac G4 in working condition for my kids. We replaced it with a 24" G5 as the optical drive no longer works in the G4. I've tried everything - it is dead. I don't want to put the money into having someone install a replacement. Where would I get an external drive, what "features" would I look for, what brand is reliable and is this a logical solution? I would check with Lacie before purchase. They may well change chipsets from time to time which is why I was deliberately vague.
You certainly can use Firewire Target Disk Mode with the +Intel iMac+
Conduct full backup of the iMac G4
Shut down both Macs
Connect the two Macs using a 6pin-to-6pin Firewire cable.
Boot the +Intel iMac+ and hold down the T key.
Insert the Leopard install disc - this must be a retail disk, not the one that came with the +Intel iMac+
Boot the iMac G4 and hold down the Option (alt) key.
Select the Leopard install disc.
Continue as normal.
When you are finished shutdown the iMac G4 and then use the power button to switch off the +Intel iMac+ then disconnect the cable.
