I tried to access my books on the IPad Mini through the Kindle app. The message reads "Please remove the books from your device and redownload them from your Cloud items if possible. If the problem persists, try to deregister your applications and register it again."

When the Kindle app was updated - none of my books showed up on my iPad. Here is what I did and I did it all on the iPad.
Go to amazon.com
Sign into your account
Tap on - Your Account - in the upper right corner
Tap on Manage your Kindle - next to the Digital Content section on the left side.
Find your books in the next window
Tap on the Actions Icon next to the book title
Tap on deliver to - select your iPad
Go back to your Kindle app and see if it downloads

Remove Deletion Flag from WBS Element

Can anyone please tell me how cancel deletion flag from a WBS Element ? I set Deletion Flag on WBS Element by fault.

Basic Question

The same way as you set it.
Select the WBS Edit>Status>DeletionFlag-->Undo

Please remove Class-Path from kodo-jdo-runtime.jar manifest

This is repost. Class-Path should not be in manifest of
kodo-jdo-runtime.jar
It causes problems with security manager when using signed jars under
webstart. It can potentially cause all kind of other problems due to class
path conflicts
Seems to be a problem in manifest. It is due to Class-Path in manifest. I
deleted manifest from kodo-jdo-runtime and signed it seems to be ok.
I got more meaningful error now - serp.jar is missing
I would suggest to remove Class-Path from this jar. I've seen some very
weired behaviour of systems with Class-Path in different jars. I believe it
should be only in your application jar

How can I remove ReadOnly flag from a file?

I have read/write access for a file, and after using setReadOnly() method in my program I cannot turn the attribute of the file back.
How can I do that operation in my program?

Please Remove This Forum From the iTunes Community

It is obvious that this forum ius being used by the general iTunes public to post all kinds of questions that are unrelated to iTunesU. I think the primary reason is that the forum is listed in the iTunes section. There is also a link to the iTunesU forum near the bottom of the Support Communites page. If this was the only listing there would be much less chance people would post these unrelated questions that are negatively impacting the board.

Removing Multiple Flags At Once

I have flagged most of my photos while organizing my Library. Unfortunately, I can't find a quick way to un-flag them all once. When I select at flagged photos and have the Primary Only button un-clicked it only removes the flag from the Primary Selection.
How can I remove them all at once?

Clicking the corner of the image toggles the flag for that image.
Pressing "/" (the virgule key) toggles the flag for all selected images (and is the same as "Metadata→Flag").
Each has its use. Together they make a good pair.
If the selection contains a mixture of flagged and not-flagged images, pressing virgule once will flag all of them; pressing a second time un-flags all images.

Kill a thread and remove the element from the vector

Hi All
I have attached each Vector element to a thread which I later want to kill and remove that element from the Vector.
Thread.join(milliseconds) allows this functionality to let the thread die after n milliseconds.
However, I want to delete this element from the Vector now.
Can someone please throw some light on this?

I'm not sure if what you are trying to accomplish is correctly implemented.
The method join does not kill the thread. It will wait for the specified time for the thread to exit. If you want the thread to run for a specified ammount of time, develop the run method of that thread with that in mind. Do not try to kill it from the outside, but let it terminate itself (gracefull termination).
Now for your question regarding the vector (you should probably be using ArrayList nowadays): I would implement the observer pattern for this job. Make the threads post an event on the interface when they are done, let the main thread register itself with the threads and synchronize the method that handles the events. In that method you can remove the object from your list.
I'm not sure if you want to use thread anyhow, could you tell us what it is that you are trying to accomplish?

Is the iPod still singed into the account isn Settings>iTunes and App Stores and SettingsZ>iCloudl? If it is then I would not be concerned.

well, for starters, is there a URL (link) in the text? if so, you will have to take it out, and include it in the little link area under the comments box.
If not, check to see if you have 'Http://' or '.com' or something similar in the text.

You will need to go through a couple of steps in order to remove your subscription: one is on any community, click the "following" button and it will change to "follow" which means you are no longer subscribed.
