Please reply!! Pre-ordering

I have a question about pre-ordering CDs. I just pre-order an album but my account was not charged and I didn't receive the music. I tryed to pre-order it again but it said it was already ordered. So my question is, do pre-orders come in immediatly or after a certain amount of time or something? I'm not sure if there was an error or if I jsut don't understand. Thanks.

Pre-Order means you are orderinging before it comes out...You still won't get it until it's released. I think you'll get an email when it is released & then you can download it. Usually the advantage of this is you'll get some "extras" that aren't available on the regular release.
