Please show addresses of hyperlinks in emails on hover
Most browsers show you the target of a hyperlink when you hover over it, usually displayed at the bottom in the status bar. This lets you check before you click, and is great for security and comfortable experience. Since you can click links in Thunderbird and open your browser, the same concerns apply, and right now the only way to check before you follow the link is to right-click, copy the address, and paste it somewhere you can read it...
Is there a way to turn this on? Otherwise, consider this a feature request.

That is a function of the Status Bar. Maybe you need to turn yours on.
From the menu bar select View-Toolbars-Status Bar
No menu bar? Press the alt key.

Show Hyperlinks as email address
I have a file with a column of about 2,000 email addresses that I'm trying to show as just the plain email address, currently it is formatted as a hyperlink and I want to be able to export them all to my Address Book but I'm not able to do anything with them as they are. Are there any solutions to this?
tl;dr: I want email hyperlinks in Numbers 2009 to show as the raw email address instead of formatting it as a link (instead of "Last, First", I want it to show as [email protected]) without having to get each email address one at a time.
Message was edited by: DKalthoffHow did they get to the state they are in now? Did you enter a name in the cell then enable the cell as a hyperlink and type the email address in the Inspector? Or did you use the HYPERLINK function in each cell?
If you used the HYPERLINK function (though from your last post I am guessing that's not what you did), you can format the column as text then extract the email addresses to another column using several of the text functions.
I haven't figured out how to extract the email address from a cell that was done with the Inspector except by hand, one by one.

my iphone just stopped connecting to my wifi and i have tried all the recommended troubleshooting with no success. Also when i send a text , it shows it coming from my email address instead of my cell #. i dont receive any text going to my cell #. help
If i understand what you are saying then you are seeing the WiFi indicator after connecting but Apps are saying that they are not connected to the internet?
Your router may not have given your iPod a valid IP address. Go to Settings > Wifi > your network name and touch the ">" to the right to see the network details. If the IP address starts with 169 or is blank then your router didn't provide an IP address and you won't be able to access the Internet.
Sometimes the fix can be to restart your router (remove power for 30 seconds and restart). Next, reset network settings on your iPod (Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings) and then attempt to connect. In other cases it might be necessary to update the router's firmware with the latest from the manufacturer's support web pages.
If you need more help please give more details on your network, i.e., your router make, model and version, the wifi security being used (WEP, WPA, WPA2), etc. -
Email to group without showing addresses
How do I send an email to a group without showing all the email addresses?
You need to use BCC.
If you don't know where the BCC field is, it would help to know the name of your e-mail client.

I have a Mac Pro using OSX 10.7.4. When using apple mail I click on the address icon to obtain email address and nothing happens. I've restarted both the application and the Mac but still won't open address book. Any ideas please.
Assuming you have these accounts set up in Mail, open preferences and under Accounts tab, edit the SMTP outgoing server list. Do you have a .mac address in the list? If so, delete it.
Are you using iCloud?
For the troubled account, select the correct SMTP server for that account in the box and check the box to use only that server with that account. -
I'm trying to restore my iCloud back up on my new iPhone 5s and keep getting "could not sign in your apple Id or password is incorrect. I noticed that the Id it's showing is not my complete email address. I've reset my password 5 times. It accepts my password when I install as a new phone. How can I resolve this so I can restore my back up?

How do I configure Sprint Mobile Email to show my name in the email return address?
I am using Sprint Mobile Email to check & send my Yahoo email on my Palm Centro. When I send emails it only shows my email address in the return address and not my name. I have my name set up in Yahoo but it doesn't get picked up when I send emails from my phone.
How do I configure Sprint Mobile Email to also show my name in the email return address? Everyone may not recognize my email address as being me.

Since updating to Iso 6 my iMessages are showing as coming from my email address, anyone know how to fix this?
I figured out my problem...... I have custom text tones set up for certain ppl and had the default text tone set to "none" well with the iOS6 update it made it so if your default text tone is set on "none" then you won't hear what I call the send and recieve text sounds when in a converstation... if you change the default text tone to any text tone other than "none" you will get your send and recieve sounds back.... kinda annoying if you don't won't random texts from ppl waking you up... so I made a custon text tone that is called silence with just recording a few seconds of dead noise then edited it and turned all the sound levels down to 0 and set that as my default text tone.... now I have the send and recieve text sounds in a conversation and everything is fine! Sorry Nehucskter the first time I had this problem thats the first thing I did was reboot my phone.... first thing you do for everything lol....

My browser is IE9. While I read my friend mails that are sent through Firefox. Suddenly I received an error message "Bad request error 400". Now I cannot access my gmail inbox anymore. The following relates to inbox problems in GMail in Nov 2011, no error 400 was seen, only a blank area where the message should have been. On your browser, whether Safari, Google Chrome or otherwise, navigate tohttps://appleid.apple.com.
Once here click Manage your Apple ID button and sign into your iCloud account. Here, on the left side select Password and Security and this will list options on the right side. You should be able to see an option to reset your security questions.

If you cannot see or reset your security question, or even obtaining an error, then you would have to contact Apple directly: http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57. Here you would explain the issue, transfer you to an Account Security Agent who will be able to veritfy your identity and assist you in the resetting of you security questions. -
Hi. I tried switching my Apple ID email address to my new email address and I don't know how to switch it for iCloud and iTunes. Please help!! It seems like Apple thinks I have two separate accounts, when I just tried to simply change it!

I want to change the email address used as rescue email for my security questions. But I can't remember the answers to the security questions and I dont have access to the rescue email anymore. Please help.
-If you established a rescue email address, there will be a link on the "Passwords & Security" page of id.apple.com. Clicking the link will send the reset to your rescue email address (NOTE: This is not the same address as your Apple ID email)
-If there is no link on the page, then you didn't establish a rescue email address. Contact AppleCare at 800.694.7466 (If you are in the US), and ask for account security. You will need to answer some questions to verify your identity, AND you will need access to a computer to generate a temporary support pin.

Welcome to the Apple community mohinderjeet.
If you mean that Find My Phone is asking for a password to a different Apple ID to your current Apple ID.
This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7, or if you restore from a previous back up made before you changed your details.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID using your current password, you don’t need access to this address if it’s previously been used with your Apple ID, once you have saved these details enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone" and delete the account from your device.
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, save it once again and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

Spry Contact Form doesn't show all the information on email

So I have created a contact form with the spry text fields.
The text fields are:
Name
Email
Message
Onced tested the email shows:
Name : [email protected]
Email : (blank)
Message: (blank)
So The two issues is that is shows the email shows under name and the email and message sections dont show any infomation at all.
