confusing on the forum if you don't explicitly indicate what version you are working with when reporting a problem or
asking about a solution for something. Please include the version number when posting your inquiries, unless it is a question
that has no version dependencies, although most questions will probably have some version dependency.
The versions should be specified like ...

Yes, there seems to be some problem with downloads from SDN. Seems to be a general issue as other downloads are not working. I guess it will be fixed soon.

I have iTunes running on my Windows8 desktop for some while with no problems. Yesterday I purchased a song, deleted a free game app. and upgraded to the most current version of iTunes. This morning I could not pull up iTunes, so I retored my iTunes to a setting two (2) days ago. Now, as soon as I try to start iTunes I get a message stating: This version of iTunes has not been correctly localized for this language. Please run the Enclish version OK. So I hit the OK button and nothing happens. Please help.

You may want to try removing and reinstalling iTunes as an initial troubleshooting step. Take a look at the article below for more information.

PLEASE report what you've already tried when posting problems/questions!
A lot of threads have a common theme:
(1) The first post describes a problem, or asks a question.
(2) The second (or third, or fourth) post suggests doing or trying something.
(3) The next response, from the original poster, says "Oh, I already tried that!"
Please, when describing a problem or asking a question, be reasonably detailed about the scenario, what you did, what results you got, WHAT YOU'VE ALREADY TRIED, etc.
Vague undetailed problems/questions, not describing the N steps you've already taken to try to resolve it, etc. just waste time and bandwidth all around!

If we are going to start of list of things NOT to do when posting a question, the one I always think is the absolute silliest is when they say I am having trouble with an application and never ever tell up what application they are talking about as if we have a crystal ball which is going to tell us what mythical application it is. Well it turns out generally my crystal ball is foggy just then so I have to ask what are you talking about here.

when a solution package is deactivated the web scope features over all sub website gone deactivated and does not re-activated when solution package is activated.
we have couples of sub webs to activate web features manually that should be activated when a solution package is activated.
all sub webs are created by custom web templates onet.xml.Hi,
I can think of three different solution (all custom solution)
Use Powershell Cmdlet to activate feature to all sub sites
Upgrade your solution to Site Collection scope, However all subsites under the root will have access to the features, which you may want to restrict based on your requirement
create a site scoped solution feature to activate the web scoped features, this will give you more control and easier management of all your features

It sounds like you've restored Windows on your PC and iTunes is no longer opening and running normally.
I'd recommend using the instructions found at step 4 and 5 in this article to repair or remove/reinstall your iTunes installation:

Check out the troubleshooting steps in the first article. If it is not resolved, then try and remove iTunes and its related software in the right order and then reinstall.

Let's try a repair install of iTunes.
Restart the PC first.
If you're using Vista or 7, now head into your Uninstall a program control panel, select "iTunes" and then click "Repair".
If you're using XP, head into your Add or Remove Programs control panel, select "iTunes", and click "Change". Select "Repair" and click "Next" as per the following screenshot:

If you have multiple systems that all show the same symptoms,
then it is probably not a problem in the computers.
You may need to investigate the rest of your network hardware
and your campus network software.
Your campus network administrators may have made some recent changes.
Ethernet switches may have power supply problems, or they're getting old.
Firewall software may heve had recent changes to its configuration.
If the cabling goes over long distances, from building to building,

Specifying JRE version when starting CRM On Demand
I am trying to find a way to specify what jre version to use when logging into CCA. Our users have multiple jre version including newer versions that are not compatible with CCA. They have open java and disable the newer versions in order to get CCA to work. Of course this causes issues when they run other programs that require the newer versions (what a mess!).
Is this possible and can someone tell me how to do this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
