PLEASE tell me how to prevent sound from dropping out

I got a new G4 and every time I try recording guitar through GB, the sound cuts out 25 seconds in. I have tried all the hints from the GB help page on optimizing performance. I am using the Glam and Modern Rock sounds. This really *****. Please help?

I have the input set up through the USB device but am
using the internal speakers as the audio output.

IF you plug in your device to the mac you can import your photos easily, just open up iphoto then select your device from the left side (it will appear at the bottom) click on it and on the right side click on "import photos"
after its done with import you can menage your photos and videos with drag and drop.

No. You have to get the music in iTunes and then sync to the new iPod.
Transfer iTunes purchases from the old iPod by:
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to a computer
Transfer other music by using a third-party program like one of thse discussed here:

To copy photos to your Mac that were taken with the iPad, copied to it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites then see this page - on a Mac you can use Image Capture, iPhoto and Aperture.
To copy photos that were originally synced from a computer you will need a third-party app such as Simple Transfer which can copy them off via your wifi network. But as photos are 'optimised' when they are synced to the iPad, any that you then copy back to a computer may not be exactly the same as they originally were on your computer.

Please can someone help me retrieve pictures from an iphone, I'm currently traveling for 4 months so can't access icloud from my laptop as I only have my iPad2. My boyfriend has had his iphone 4 stolen 2 months into our trip, and I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to get the pictures back off the phone as there are 2 months worth of travel pics on this device! I'm not bothered about the music that's in there although it would be a bonus to get that back to.
His icloud/ Apple ID is different to mine but I can't seem to find a way to sign into his I cloud from my ipad2! Any help would be much appreciated I basically just want the pictures back from that phone!

That's not possible. If the phone is gone then so are the pictures unless you transferred them to iPhoto.

It is simply your wireless password.
But you should be using WPA2 Personal in the AEBS. If not please update the setting in the AEBS so you are using real security.. WEP is useless and worse than useless .. it is hard to setup and will slow the wireless.

edit to say: adobe chat support couldn't offer a fix, so directed me here. It seems others are having similar problems...

It shouldn't be a problem. What's important is that you are up and running. Btw, keep that installer in a safe place in case you need it again. Installing is preferred over transfers and Time Machine recoveries. Both tend to break licensing. And of course check for updates.
And if you haven't already, register your software. That way the s/n is in your Adobe account (My Products) should you lose track of it.
Hmm. You can see if you can update AIR first. Photoshop won't launch?

ACR: .dng .jpg How to prevent highlights from blowing out yet again?

How can a .dng in ACR be "Saved As" a .jpg without the .jpg process blowing out the highlights all over again?
The affected images have to be tweaked yet again in ACR.

Then you open that file through Camera Raw and use it for publication via whatever process you want.
Save images directly as JPEG from Camera Raw (if the sizes it offers are good for you).
Save images through the Image Processor, which automates some simple processing tasks for you (e.g., resizing).
Open individual images into Photoshop to post-process them (e.g., retouching a particular portrait or something).
The key here is that Camera Raw provides the same developing settings however you (re)open the raw file for each subsequent use.
If in light of all this you still DO want to save an intermediate file for later use, may I suggest .PSD format as that is a lossless format. Consider also saving in 16 bits/channel and ProPhoto RGB color space.
Lightroom is a possible alternative, as it's highly optimized for flushing a large number of images through a workflow pipeline, though I don't need/use it because my digital darkroom activity is more along the lines of individual edits rather than production work.
