Please update HERE Transit timetables for Perth, A...

HI,
I hope someone in support will get this message. I heavily rely on HERE Transit here in Perth, because the oficial Transperth Website is terrible, there is no official Windows Phone App (only Iphone and Android) and Public Transport here is difficult to get your head around here, to put it mildly.
This January a lot of the bus timetables got changed and now the previously fantastic HERE app got a little bit useless, because it still uses old info.
Please Nokia people.... get the updated tables from transperth as soon as youn can, if you are not already working on it. Thx heaps !!

Regarding having them update the specs, one can dream. Dreams are free. LOL. Hopefully the memory makers will update their specs as more makers start supporting a large memory configuration.

I did not do an extended test of the sticks in my MBP. Their home is in the ThinkPad I have because it is running Windows Server 2008 with Hyper-V.
As you can see from the link above, these little suckers are pricey. But consider the price of 2GB SoDIMMs were $950 when they entered the market a couple of years ago. The price will drop.
I asked the Kingston rep that sent these to me if online sites like newegg.com would have them soon. She indicated no, but the corporate buying sites like CDW and Zone would. So check around. They just started shipped a couple of weeks ago so be patient.

HERE Transit app for lumia 920

Hello, has anybody got the HERE Transit 3.5 app on their phone, I have been reading about it , and as I travel a lot, think this app would be terrific, but I cannot find it in my Nokia apps store, I live in Australia and maybe its not available here yet, has any one got any advise on this. Thank you.

Something odd here .. It was (and still) not appearing under Nokia Collection for India. But I could download it thru' the QR Code and its working fine too ...
Othr thing is parts of Australia are shown under coverage.. Refer the attachment showing just one such ...

Here Transit has stopped working in Philadelphia, ...

With the latest update, Here Transit for Philadelphia, PA now gives gibberish for results when trying to get transit directions & schedules. For example, to go from my home north of central Philadelphia to midtown Philadelphia, it directed me to leave Philadelphia, cross the river to New Jersey, then back to the city - a route that required over 1.5 hours to travel a distance of less than 5 miles! I could walk to my destination in less time.
Nokia, please fix this mess!

Unfortunately it's not a nice solution.
While looking for a solution to not being able to install apps from windowsphone.com using push notifications, I found that I had two identical devices in my account. One device showed my current location in the Find My Phone section, the other just showed a map of the world. I deleted the MotW one but still couldn't carry out remote app installations. So I decided to delete the remaining one to reassociate my phone with my MS account. I then backed up the phone and carried out a full reset.
I allowed the phone to restore from my recent backup and once it had finished installing all the apps I tried a remote install...and it worked!
Then I tentatively tried Here Transit, popped in a local destination and yay! The bus route was calculated.
So, my solution to problems with Here Transit is a removal of the phone from its MS account and then a full reset.
Like I said, not a nice fix.

The software for the NI PCI-54640R IF-RIO is now released. Before asking about any issues in programming the NI 5640R, please upgrade to the released version. This will also make it easier to look at example code if there is an issue.
Please download the new installer file (“ni-5640r100rc1.zip”) from the following location:

1. Remove your NI 5640R modules from the computer.
2. Un-install the version of NI 5640R currently on the computer.
3. At this time, it is recommended to un-install pre-release versions of LabVIEW 8.0, LabVIEW FPGA 8.0, and NI-RIO 2.0 and re-install the released versions.
4. Install the released version of the NI 5640R software.
5. Re-install the NI 5640R module.
Note: This new version of the driver handles the NI 5640R VIs differently from previous versions. Previous to version B5, different projects would use common NI 5640R VIs that were saved in the LabVIEW/instr.lib directory. This method prevents multiple projects from being open due to the Bind to Typedef option on the FPGA Target VI.
The new method saves copies of all NI 5640R VIs to a directory in the project. This allows different projects, with different typedefs to use the same VIs at the same time.
This will result in projects saved in the previous method from not finding the NI 5640R VIs. The easiest method to convert to the new method is to resave the NI 5640R Template example directory, and copy the changes from the previous VIs to the new VI. Ensure that you use the NI 5640R VIs that are part of the new project.

A new version of NI-RIO for Real-Time OS/Windows 2000/XP has released.
If installing the ni5640r software for the first time, please install NI-RIO Version 2.1 before installing the ni5640r software.
If you are re-installing the ni5640r software and you have NI-RIO 2.0 installed, please uninstall both the ni5640r software and NI-RIO version 2.0. Then install NI-RIO version 2.1, followed by the ni5640r software version 1.0.
Note: Updating NI-RIO from version 2.0 to 2.1 is a recommendation, it is not required. If you are already reinstalling the ni5640r software, it is a good time to keep up to date with the latest released drivers.

My wife and I have separate AppleID accounts and always have. For some reason after she bought the iPhone 5c, whenever she tries to update her apps, it comes up for my AppleID and asks for my password. Please help on how to fix this!

I have had this issue lately.
I can only put it down to using the one computer to update all our IPads for me and my wife.
Some of our apps, although downloaded from both our seperate accounts on our IPads, are the same.
However after plugging her IPad into the computer when my AppleID is on ITunes, I think something strange has happened and when she then tries to update Apps on her IPad and I try on mine it now asks for the others Apple ID password.
The only way I have found to counteract this is to update an app one at a time, if that app asks for your wifes password then delete it and then reinstall it.
That has solved it for me.

Here Transit buses are all wrong for the location ...

I'm using a Nokia Lumia 620
Here Transit app is showing all the wrong buses for locations.
When I search nearby it shows the name of the roads and a list of the correct buses but when you click on your destination to show departures it lists buses that are running miles away from your location.

I also have had troubles with this update. It would not install so I shut down and tried to this morning. It continued to stay on the gray screen with the loading wheel. I left it there loading when I left the house because it didn't finish. I am thinking of running Disk Utility when I get back home.
The reason for this post is I have been looking on the forums to many posts about this and I am getting lost on the exact way about going about getting this installer to work and everything to run smooth. If you have gotten it to work correctly or know a way to run it correctly please post here what you did. It would be the greatest help and would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help!

This really isn't going to be much help for you, Kyle, because all I did was Click Software Update and hit install. That's pretty much all I ever do. I do have a cloned backup so restoration is trivial perhaps explaining the casual approach but that said, never had to restore either.

It is August 18th and we all know the rumors said we would get Froyo today on our Incredibles. I believe the issue is with the Apple ID that was used to purchase the App. If you download an App that was purchased under a different Appple ID then all updates will also be linked to the original purchaser's Apple ID. Your Apple ID is the the same ID as your iTunes, iCloud, etc. Some folks use different ID for the different Apple sites. No need for that One ID for all Apple Sites, and if someone else buys an App using their ID and they(you) download that App onto your device and that App requires an update it will ask for the purchasers Apple ID. This happens a lot when folks sell their iPad or give it to someone else and leave some purchased(free) Apps on the iOS device. You cannot change the original ID the App was purchased under. A suggestion would be if someone else has an App that you like but do not want to pay for use their ID or in the future have them gift the App to you.

HT4972 We synced & updated my daughters phone for first time using my account. It deleted her contact list and inserted mine on her phone. Now she has been deleting the contacts but it is also deleting from mine! How do I get my contacts back?

I need help. I have an Iphone 3GS and so does my teenage daughter. I had not ever updated her until last night and I updated it using my Apple account. I did not think that I needed to make a separate account for her phone as the phone belongs to me and we share apps and such.
The update went well except all of her contacts were deleted. However, all of my phone's contacts were placed on her phone instead of her own. This was not a real problem for her as she did not have a great deal of contacts. But she did need to start delating mine from her phone. It was not until she had deleted all the way down to the H contacts that we realized as she deleted contacts from her phone, they were also delteing from mine!
I need help in retreiving all the contacts that she has deleted. There are important business contacts that I so did not want to lose!
What can be done? And how do we keep this from continueing to happen?
