Please update the PC60G driver to the latest version
The latest driver for the PC60G available on the MSI website is version 1.0.0.0302 for Win9x/ME/2000/XP and version 2.0.3.0 for Vista.
The PC60G uses a Ralink RT2561 chip, and if you go to Ralink's site, they have a newer driver for that chip - version 1.2.3.0 for Win9x/ME/2000/XP and version 2.1.0.0 for Vista. I tried to install it, and it forces you to use Ralink's wireless software, which I don't want.
The MSI driver does not force you to use Ralink's wireless software, which is good, but it is not the latest version. Can you guys please update your driver to the latest version?

That said, you will probably understand that crafting and releasing updated drivers is not in our hands to begin with.
In any case, if you have no problems with the drivers on the MSI Product Site, there is no urgent reason to use newer ones, right? On the other hand, if the Ralink drivers work better for you, just use them instead.

I created a photo album on my iPhone 4s - edited photos etc. but I cannot figure out how to transfer it to my pc (using Windows 8). The only folder in the iphone drive is the one which has the Camera roll photos Help please - I really need the photos!
The camera roll is not part of the sync process at all.
You should be importing these photos to your computer regularly as you would with any digital camera. Youc an organize them on your computer and sync the to the iphone if you wish.
The photos sync from the computer to the iphone is one way.
The iphone mirrors the selected content of the computer to which it is synced. -

Restore the hard drive to the factory WinXP OS image - T60 1951-A31
I'm trying to restore the hard drive to the factory WinXP OS image on a number of 1951-A31 ThinkPad T60.
Found these instructions in the trouble shooting guide:
1. If possible, save all your files and shut down your operating system.
2. Turn off your computer for at least 5 seconds.
3. Turn on your computer. Watch the display carefully. While the message, “To interrupt normal startup, press the blue ThinkVantage button” is displayed, press the ThinkVantage button. The Rescue and Recovery workspace opens.
4. Click Restore your system and follow the instructions on the screen.
The problem is that Restore your system does not appear.

which version of Think Vantage System Upate do you have installed?
If you have version 3.13.0009 installed please try the following; boot into Windows and run TVSU. It'll update itself, restart, then update itself again. Hopefully the option to recover to factory content will then be available to you.
Please also check the following registry key; HKLM\Software\Lenovo\TVT Common
If the "System Type" key is 1, change it to 0. If it is already set to 0 don't change anything and let us know

(mod edit: fixed broken link)You need to have a harddrive installed that contains the original system restore partition, many people delete them because they are redundant and use up space and after a while, most of the content is outdated, meaning it will install 4-5yo system and software that you'd only want to replace or update anyway. I prefer to install from a windows setup disc, but you can buy the restore sets, it's a set of 7 or 8 CDrom, not DVD discs. Lenovo sells them I believe, or if you can find someone willing to copy a set and send them to you, it would save you some money. I can tell you that if I had a several of these to do, I'd much rather use a single windows setup disc, preferably one with the latest service pack and updates, so I'm done after a few mins and one disc, opposed to installing many discs, changing from one to the other, then in the end downloading and installing service pack three, then a few dozen hotfixes, it could turn into hours of work on each unit, but if you want them with all the preloaded software, then that is the only way. Lost the access to the first partion of the firewire drive and the data ?

after i moved 5,5GB Data from my internal harddisk, HFS+ , to my external Firewire drive, FAT 32 formatted for compatilibilty with a PC, i lost the access to the first partion of the firewire drive and the data. At first after having appearently finished copying the data a lot of ununderstable numbers and letters appeared on the first partion and couldn't be opened.
Using first aid showed the following messages:

My original hard drive was replaced due tom multiple errors. Before it crashed completely, I installed a new hard drive and slaved the old one to allow me to access the data and transfer it to the new one. I did not backup the bookmarks. How can I pull the old bookmarks from the old drive to the new installation drive???

Sorry if this posted twice I am NEW. I thought I could just go back to what I typed and add to it. Mom had a computer it died they are putting in the old drive on the new computer as a slave. What are the steps I need to do to transfer ALL the bookmarks, user names and passwords onto the new computer. We will have 3 desktops do we have to do the same steps on each desktop? I do not want to re enter all the user names and passwords on the new hard drive. i recently found my ibook and decided to see if it would still turn on. it did but i got this flashing question mark, i did some research into this and found out that the hard drive is the cause. so i opened it up replaced the hard drive and closed it up, booted from the disc and crossed my fingers but it did not pick up the hard drive. i thought it might not have been installed properly, so i opened it up to check the connections to make shure they were secure and closed it back up but now it wont even boot from the disc. so dose anyone know whats wrong with it because i really don't just want throw it away if its a simple fix. please if anyone know i would greatly appreciate it.

Either of these may be able to run a system no later than OS X Tiger 10.4.11.
So a system install disc set could be used to troubleshoot, install, restore &
prepare a replacement hard drive for a new system.
Not certain what the issues are behind your situation, there may be more than
meets the eye. Some models of iBook were more prone to hardware problems
and as they age, fewer opportunities to affordably repair them exist.

The burn to the superdrive drive failed. the burn failed because of a medium write error.
Hello, I have an IMAC (OS X version 10.8.3)
And when I put a blank disc (dvd+R 8.5gb DL), it's not even shown in Finder!
So, well, when I try to burn any files on it, it says:

Please, help to solve my problem. I'm Russian & and it's really hard to find any help on Russian apple forums.

I want to reformat my external hard drive using Mac OS Extended (Journaled, Encrypted ) but before formatting it, I want to make sure that if I loose the hard drive or the hard drive get stolen, no one will be able to retrieve or recover the information on it so could you tell me what kind of encryption will be used or is there any way to recover the information?

I clicked the brush tool, then clicked on color swatch that brought me to the colors and clicked OL... but not able to get the color I need.Well if I follow him, he creates an Exposure Adjustment Layer.
Then he cranks up the Exposure, lightening the entire body, which he does not want. It's only the head.
So leaving the Exposure set to where he put it, he selects that adjustment layer, clicks on that white thumbnail mask first, then paints
using the brush and black. What this does is "hides" or Masks the exposure effect where he paints, it doesn't paint the picture black.
He finds having to "mask" the entire body a lot of work. So he changes the mask to black by inverting it, and changes the swatch to white.
Then being sure the black mask thumbnail is selected, he paints the head with the white color, punching a hole in the mask so the exposure setting comes through on the face.
Does that make sense?
