Hey all, i tried to setup a boot camp on a macbook today running 10.5.7 and we received this error...
'Boot Camp Assistant Can Not Be Used
You Must update your system before using this Setup Assistant'
We have run system update again, no updates are available... any ideas? Shouldn't boot camp run on any version of Leopard?

I'm still sifting through threads, but has anyone come across any diagnosis yet? I am having the same problem, although it's anyone's guess as to whether we are all doing the same thing to provoke the issue. I'll gladly do an erase and install (time machine reversion) after remerging my partitions, but I can't right now as I have a project on the go for the next little while.
What eats me is that on my Mac, I'm so used to there being a solution somewhere, instead of having to nuke everything as is so often the Windoze prognosis.
I don't know if this is related or not, but the most recent partition-related function I did prior to the problem occurring was installing NTFS-3G and MacFUSE, so I could better exchange files to & from my Boot Camp partition. When my Windows wireless driver disappeared off the face of the planet (even after repairing and later reinstalling BC drivers... probably malware-related, I'm guessing), The only thing I can think of is that Boot Camp Assistant does NOT like MacFUSE or NTFS-3G; or, it doesn't like its partition having its insides/format protocols messed with.

In case you are facing issues uninstalling the app's then please try manual cleanup of Adobe from your machine by following the below mentioned steps:
1. Navigate to Applications and trash all Adobe app's and Adobe folder.
2. Navigate to Applications/Utilities/ and trash Adobe Application Manager,Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Installer folder.
3. Go to Library/Application Support and trash Adobe.
4.Go to ~/Library/Application Support and trash Adobe.
Try installing the CC app's and let us know if still the error persists.

Hi all,
Got great responses from people in my first post recently, but before I managed to try any of them, my laptop chucked a spack attack.
It will start up, and get to the Log in Window, but when I type in my password (yes, it is the right one...) I get a message which says something like, 'There is a Problem logging in. Please see your System Administrator'. I can't remember the exact wording, but it is pretty much that.
Unfortunately, I am the System Administrator, and I'm using the only log in and password attached to the computer. So I've got no idea how to get into it. A friend suggested I start it up in target disk mode from another computer, but I've got Filevault turned on, so I suspect I'm going to have the same problem.
Recently installed an Apple security Update, but thats the only thing that has changed.
Any suggestions very welcome, as it has been about five days now.

Have you tried resetting the Admin PW?
To reset the administrator password using the Mac OS X CD:
1. Insert the Mac OS X Install Disc 1 CD and restart the computer.
2. When you hear the startup tone, hold down the C key until you see the spinning gear.
3. When the Installer appears, choose Installer > Reset Password.
4. Follow the onscreen instructions to change the password.
5. Quit the Installer and restart your computer while holding down the mouse button to eject the CD.

We are on SRM 7.0 and ECC 6.0.
We are using netweaver 7.0 (SP7) for our portal instance. SSO, UWL etc have been configured in the Portal.
Now when the user logs in to create a shopping cart and clicks on the Employee Self Service link, he gets the following error:
"No POWL object types are assigned to you. Please inform your system adminstrator"
What could be the resolution for this?

There were 2 roles for employee in portal. I changed the role. The one with details pcd:portal_content/com.sap.pct/specialist/com.sap.pct.srm.srm70/com.sap.pct.srm.core.fl_core/com.sap.pct.srm.core.fl_roles/com.sap.pct.srm.core.ro_employeeselfservice worked.
I did not have to maintain the settings for 'Defining query visibilty at role level'.
However now once the shopping cart has been ordered, I come back to check it's status under the ESS link, I see that it is awaiting approval, but when I try to open the SC, it does not open.
Also I am unable to open the SC if I search it under 'Advanced Search'.
Any inputs on what could be the reason?

Has anyone had this before or does anyone know what this is referencing. This happens each time she runs a report and the report does not format correctly.

I've seen it, it happens randomly to some users and no others, we saw it last year for a few weeks then it stop and restarted again in Jan then stopped again. Log a call with CC and give them this CR# 12-1QK0RRZ, the last update I have on this is "Understand that this will require some code changes before its fixed .However, I am unable to provide you an estimated time of implementation at this time. I will update you as soon as I hear more on this one." but that was in March.
2 things it doesn't happen in Firefox if that is an option for the user AND we found if you signed into staging then back into prod it made it go away, dont' ask me how or why but it seemed to work for us.

Have you changed something on your SharePoint 2007 environment recently before this issue occurred?
This issue may be related to Alternate Access Mappings settings like the following similar post, if you have configured AAM, you can check if this issue happened to some URLs, if it's the case, please add the problematic URLs as a Publish URLs for the default
zone for your web application, and also add these URLs as trusted locations, then check results again.
If above doesn't work, please enable ULS log on verbose level to get more useful log errors which time are corresponding to the errors occur.

Hi All,
I have created a user 'Bitest' and group 'Bi_Test_Group'. Assigned the user to the group and the group to BI consumer role.
I gave access to only procurement and spend catalog folder reports and Dashboards.
When I login to BI Presentation Services with above created user and open any procurement and spent catalog dashboard i am getting below error in every report.
Its BI Apps 7.9.6.3 installation.I gave read access to group to all procurement and spent subject area.

Unfortunately, I could not work around this and MS said it was by design. I even tried some clever stuff with symbolic link s but to no avail. I simply ended up informing my users to ignore the message and continue. i don't want anyone to be able to browse
the C: drive so I'm leaving the NoViewOnDrives registry key in place. However, there is one possible workaround but for me , it didn't suit:
Change the temp location of the folder Outlook uses for attachments

... 29 moreI'm not sure what your question is, but it looks to me like you are trying to generate an Interactive Form, because the error in the detailed stack is an Adobe document services (ADS) error - this one usually due to an unconfigured or inceoorectly configured ADS. Check the ADS Configuration Guide in the Service Marketplace, and make sure that yuo have made all the settings.

If your attempt fails, please contact your System Administrator"Its works for other users, its only happened for one specific user only? I didn't check the APPSRV.LOG file? what needs to be checked in APPSRV.LOG, I can ask my infra team to check, because I don't have app server access to check log file.

Hello everybody,
I have already posted a detailed message for the XML iview problem sometime back but havent got any reply so far. All the replies had come from users who are also facing the same problem. I am trying to use a XML iview for fetching RSS feeds from one of the internet source, i have entered the proper URL and selected the proper RSS to XHTMLB transformer also and have entered the proxy settings in the http service and enabled it and restarted it also, but again when i am previewing the Iview its giving me the error <b>"Error while using XML Iview, please contact your system administrator."</b>. I am using

The XML iView uses server-side fetching, so if you are having problems with a regular URL iView in server-side fetching mode, so the problem with the XML iVIew probably has to do with the proxy settings.
And since you got a 407 error, it seems there is an issue with proxy settings or the proxy server, as mentioned in this description of 407 error:
The HTTP 407 code only applies to users who are accessing the Internet behind a proxy server. This is common in government and corporate workplaces. The 407 code indicates that your computer must first authenticate itself with your company's proxy server. Check with your IT department or computer support group as to the exact reason why you may be getting this error. It may be possible that the proxy server does not allow downloads of specific files (exe, cab, com). You can also verify that your proxy server settings are valid.
I will check if I can find out any more specific info.
