When using the online editor in our wordpress blog on any other online editor I get this error "Your browser security settings don't permit the editor to automatically execute cutting operations. Please use the keyboard for that (Ctrl+X)" Please help.

I have online editors for our blog and websites for generating articles and blog posts. Different editors from different sites and programmers. Firefox doesn't allow me to use the cut/paste/copy functions with these editors. I get this message or something similar every time. Forum for licensing questions

From time to time we get questions in the Database forum asking questions about licensing (case in point Re: Developer License). I expect the other forums get them too. These are tough for us non-Oracleers to answer, and we certainly need to caveat things.
It would be helpful if there were a dedicated and moderated forum on this site where we could point them. Alternatively a set of FAQs that answered the standard questions would be useful.

I hate to use this forum for simple lessons but

I have a JFrame with lots and lots of JLabels on it...I want to paint the JFrame background and make the JLabels' background transparent...I use the following in my JFrame's paint method:

Aloha all,
I'm really new to photoshop...so some might ask why I'm trying such a complicated project...I'm asking myself the same query.
I'm an underwater videographer and I'm trying to make my own web pages. This is what I want to do...create a web page that has a series of 25 boxes of equal pixel dimensions (144 x 108), within a grid space that's 720 x 540 pixels.
In the center box I want the text "ENTER". When the text is mouse clicked, I want the action to take me to page 2. Within each of the remaining 24 boxes, I want 24 of my video clips that range in time from 4-10 sec.playing on a loop. Each clip is an MPEG4 file and has 1440 x 1080 resolution.
Thus far I've created the grid space and the 25 boxes. Each box is in its own layer. The center box has the word "ENTER" and I have it sized, colored, shaded and hilighted to my satisfaction. The background behind the TEXT is grey, the background in each box is checkerboard. I'm using the "WEB" workspace.
My questions are
1) how do I make the text react to a mouse click,
2) how do I get my clips to show up in each box.
Can you just send me to the training lessons or help text that will begin to guide me thru my maze.

I needed to post a PSE 9 question and have been trying to use adobe forums for days. When I attempt to login, my browser goes into a redirect loop forever. Anyone else experienced this?
Just in case I'll ask the Question here. I have PSE 9. Seems that the redo last filter with dialog box no longer functions (option-cmd-f). Did it go away? Now it brings up a Feather dialog.
Bummer.

I nothiced this forum after reading the chat transcript. Is there a similar forum for other questions on other aspects of J2SE 1.5? I dont want to ask off topic questions here but I am currious about other things in Tiger and think it would be a good thing if Sun had a forum for it.

I was wondering if the very cool Properties feature of
C# will be in 1.5 and if not 1.6? Who do we talk to
about getting Java this feature. I am referring to

}I think this implementation of properties (in C#) is syntactic sugar going way too far, for the following reasons:
1. The only bits the compiler generates for you are the get and set method signatures. Whilst this is slightly beneficial, you still have to declare the field (_age), the property (age), the get method contents {return this._age;}, and the set method contents {this._age = value;}. Also, you still need to ensure the type of the field and property match up.
2. Having "value" as a sort of builtin variable is very ugly, in my opinion.
3. There seems to be no way of making your "get" public but your "set" protected.
I think syntactic sugar works best when 80-90% of typical uses can be improved massively (the 'foreach' construct being the classic example).
Getting back to properties, you might say that around 90% of properties in existing Java code involve a simple assignment in the get and set methods. So how about something like this:
